Why won't my generator turn on?

Check that the appliance is plugged into an earthed socket with a voltage of 220-240 V. Make sure the On/Off illuminated switch is pressed. If nothing lights up, contact an authorized service center.

Water is leaking through the soleplate holes, what should I do?

This happens if the iron temperature is too low for the steam used. Increase the temperature or wait for the iron to heat up. If the problem persists, it may be condensation in the pipes after first use or prolonged inactivity. Press the steam button several times away from the laundry to purge cold water.

White marks appear on the laundry, why?

This is due to limescale in the boiler. Rinse the boiler according to the indicated procedure (use the drainage accessory or pour 1/4 L of cold water, shake and empty). The orange light flashes approximately every 10 uses to remind you.

Brown stains are soiling the laundry, what should I do?

This can come from chemicals or additives in the ironing water (starch, perfume, etc.) or a dirty soleplate. Clean the soleplate with a non-metallic sponge. Use only tap water or a 50% demineralized water mix if the water is very hard. Avoid descaling agents.

There is little or no steam, what to check?

1. Check that the tank is not empty (red light on). 2. Make sure the steam flow is not set to minimum. 3. Check that the iron temperature is not set to maximum (too high can reduce steam). 4. If the red light stays on after refilling, press the 'Restart' button.

Steam is coming out around the drainage plug, is this normal?

No, this indicates that the plug is not tightened properly or its seal is damaged. Unscrew and screw the plug back on properly. If the problem persists, have the plug replaced at an authorized service center.

Can I use tap water directly?

Yes, the appliance is designed to work with tap water. If your water is very hard, mix 50% tap water with 50% commercially available demineralized water. Never use water containing additives (starch, perfume, softener) or battery, condensation, or rainwater.

How to clean the iron soleplate?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Use a non-metallic sponge (no steel wool) to clean the soleplate. Avoid abrasive products. Plastic parts can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.

What to do if the orange 'boiler drain' light flashes?

You can continue your ironing session, but it is recommended to rinse the boiler before the next use. Wait for the appliance to be cold and unplugged for more than 2 hours. Use the provided drainage accessory or pour 1/4 L of cold water into the boiler, shake, and empty. Screw the plug back on and press 'Restart' to turn off the light.

The appliance is leaking from underneath, what should I do?

This may indicate a fault in the appliance. Stop using it immediately, unplug it, and contact an authorized service center. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

• Your steam generator is an electrical appliance. It should be used under normal conditions. It is intended for domestic use only.
• Your generator is fitted with 2 safetysystems:
• apressurereleasevalvewhich, inthe event of amalfunction, releasesanyexcesssteam;
• athermalfusetopreventtheappliancefromoverheating.
• Always plug your steam generator into:
• an electrical installation with voltage between 220 V and 240 V.
• an earthed socket. Connecting to the wrong voltage may cause irreparable damage to the appliance and will invalidate your guarantee. If you are using a mains extension lead, ensure that it is correctly rated (10A) with an earth, and is fully extended.

Preparation

Due to the powerful steam output, a mesh type ironing board must be used to allow any excess steam to escape and to avoid steamventingsideways.

What water may be used?

a) the use of a good for your local water authority) it is possible to mix untreated tap water with storebought distilled or demineralised water in the following proportions: 50% untreated tap water, 50% distilled or demineralised water.

Filling the water tank

• Place your steam generator at flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure that your steam generator is unplugged and that the oleate and ironres have cooled down.

Using the Easycord system (according to model)

• Your iron is equipped with an extension cord system to prevent the cord from dragging overthelaundryandcreasingitagainwhenironing.

• Removethetietoreleasethecordoutlet.
• Pressthe Ejectb uftg.6 and the Easycord system extends automatically.
• When the chordoutlettips, the Easycordsystem extends automatically without you having to press the Eject button.

Using your steam generator

The first time the appliance is used, there may be some fumes and smell but this is not harmful. They will not affect use and will disappear rapidly.

• Press on the off switch. The green light (located on the control panel) flashes and the boiler heats up.

Whenthegreen"steamready"lightstopsflashing(after2minutesapproximately),the applianceisready.

Use

Steam ironing

• Place the iron's temperature control dial according to the type of fabric to be ironed (see tablebelow).
• Thethermostatlightcomeson. Becareful! The steam generator is ready when thermostatlightgoesoutandwhenthegreen"steamready"lightstayson.
• Adjust the steam output control dial (located on the control panel).
• While ironing, the lightontop of the iron and the steam ready light turn temperature adjustswithout interrupting the ironing.
  To obtain steam, press on the steam control button under the iron handle and keep it pressed- fig.8. The steam will stop when you release the button.
• When starting, and regularly while it is being used, your steam generator'selectric pump injects water into the boiler. It makes noise but this is quite normal. You may also hear a clickngnoise whichisthe steamvalveopening.Againthis normal.
• Always spray starch on those reverseside of the fabrictob e ironed.

Do not place the iron on a metal support. When taking a break from ironing, always place the iron on the iron rest plate of the unit. It is equipped with non-slip pads and has been designed to withstand high temperatures.

Setting the temperature

To prime the steam circuit, either before using the iron for the first time, or if you have not used the steam function for a few minutes, press the steam control button several times in a row, holding the iron away from your clothes. This will enable any cold water to be ejected from the steam circuit.

• Start with the fabrics to be ironed at a low temperature () and finish with those which needhighertemperatures( orMax).

• Mixed fibre fabric: set the ironing temperature to the setting for the most delicate fabric.

Recommendations: for fabrics other than linen or cotton, hold the iron a few centimetres from the garment to avoid burning the fabric.

Refilling the water tank

When the red "tank empty" indicator light turns on, there is no more steam - fig.10.

Cleaning your generator

• Donotusedetergentordescalingproductsforcleaningthesoleplatebase-unit.

Caution! Above all, you must not use descending products to rinse the boiler: they may damage it. Before cleaning or emptying your generator, it is imperative that you leave it to cool for more than 2 hours, to prevent any risk of burns.

Rinsing the boiler

To extend the efficient operating life of your boiler and avoid scale particles on your linen, your generator is equipped with an orange "boiler rinse" warning light that flashes on the control panel after about 10 uses.
- If the orange "boilerrinse" warning light flashes, you can continue ironing normally. Remember beritonsetheboilerfirst, thenexttimethatyouuseit.
- Before proceeding, check that the generator is cool and unplugged for more than 2 hours.

With the rinsing accessory

• Use the accessory provided with the packaged product. It will make it easier to rinse theboilerasthegeneratorwillneedlesshandling.

• Place your steam generator on the edge of yoursink, with the iron tooneside, standingonitsheel.

• Yourironisthensafelyretained Woringrodnot touch the soleplate while still hot.
• Slottheextensioncordoutletinthenotch(dependingonmodel).Taketheendofthcordsupportandpresstoreturntheflexiblepartintothebase.

Aproblemwithyourgenerator

PROBLEMS	CAUSES	SOLUTIONS
The generator does not come on and the thermostat light and the on/off switch are not illuminated.	The appliance is not switched on.	Check that your appliance is correctly plugged in and press theilluminated on/off switch.
Waterunsoutoftholesinthe soleplate.	Waterhascondensedinthepipes because you are using steam for the first time or you have not used it for some time.	Pressonthesteam controbuttonaway fromyouirrondingboarduntiltheron produces steam.
	The soleplate is not hot enough.	Decrease the steam output while ironing at low temperature (steam output control dial on the control panel). Wait for the thermostat light to go out before activating the steam controbutton.

Water streaks appear on the linen.	Your ironing board is saturated with water because it is not suitable for use with a steam generator.	Check that your ironing board is suitable (see page 5).
White streaks come through the holes in the soleplate.	Youbolehasbuildupscale because it has not been rinsed out regularly.	Rinse out theboiler.
Brown streaks come through the holes in the soleplate and stain the linen.	Youareusinghemicablescalingagents or additives in the water for ironing.	Never add this type of product in the water tank or in the boiler (see page 5 for what water may be used). Contact an Approved Service Centre.
	Fabricfibreshaveaccumulatedintheholes of the soleplate and are burning.	Clean the soleplate with a non-metallic sponge.
	Youinnerotindufficientlyoyou have ironed a new garment before washing it.	Ensure linen is rinsed thoroughly to remove any soap deposits or chemicals on new garments which may be sucked up by the iron.

Upotreba

Peglaje na paru

• Postavite dugme za podesavanje temperature pegle na tip tkanine koja ce se peglati (vidi donju tabelu).
• Lampica pegle se ukljucije. Pazinja: aparat je spreman kada se lampica pegle iskluci i kada zelena lampica koja se nalazi na komandnoj tabli neprekidno sveti.
• Podesite izlazak pare (dugme za podesavanje se nalazi na komandnoj tabli).
• Tokom peglanja lampica koja se nalazi na pegli i lampica za spremnost pare se uključuju i isklučuju u zavisnosti od potreba grejanja, bez uticaja na upotrebu.
• Za dobijanje pare pritsinite komandu za paru koja se nalazi na držaču pegle -fig.8. Para se zaustavlja kada se komanda opusti.
• Nakon jegnog minuta elektricna pumpa kojom je Vas aparat opremljen uvodi vodu u greja. To stvara buku, ali to je uobiçajena pojava.
