Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO U350. This high-performance ultrasonic humidifier keeps the humidity at a comfortable level at all times.

The BONECO U350 is designed for convenient, fully automated operation. However, you can adjust all of its features according to your preferences and requirements. This manual shows you how you can create your own comfortable climate.

VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT HUMIDITY

The right humidity is very important for our health. Dry room air in winter leads to skin that cracks and itches. It makes your eyes and throat feel dry while significantly affecting physical comfort. Not only does this affect adults, it is especially true for infants, small children and even pets. Dry mucous membranes in winter also make us more prone to colds and other infections.

The BONECO U350 makes these problems a distant memory. Its intelligent automatic controls always keep the humidity at the ideal level, even in large rooms with an area of up to 80 square meters (860 square feet).

Once you've experienced this new level of comfort, you'll never want to go back.

STARTING UP AND SWITCHING OFF

THE RIGHT LOCATION

The BONECO U350 releases more than half a liter of water (more than approximately a pint) into the air per hour. This makes it important to set up the appliance in the right location.

Do not place the BONECO U350 directly on the floor or on sensitive surfaces, since the moisture from the mist can damage floor surfaces such as parquet or delicate carpeting.

Make sure that the appliance stands about 30 centimeters (one foot) away from the closest wall.
- Do not direct the mist toward the wall, plants, furniture or other objects in order to prevent water condensation from damaging them. Maintain a distance of at least 50 cm (20 inches).

HUMIDITY AND ULTRASONIC

SAVING SETTINGS

The BONECO U350 saves the last-used settings when it is switched off. However, if the appliance is disconnected from the power outlet for a few seconds, it will start in the AUTO operating mode.

"AUTO" OPERATING MODE

After switching on, the appliance is in Aupcating mode. The desired relative humidity level (rH) is pre-set to 50% in Aupcating mode. The appliance selects the suitable performance level Low "L" / Medium "M" / High "H" to reach the rH value of 50% as soon as possible.

In Appcating mode, the rH can be modified at any time using the button. If the performance level is mod-ified using the button, the operating mode switches off automatically, and the appliance is in manual operating mode.

The heater can be switched on or off without the appliance exiting operating mode. operating mode also remains active when setting Aetioner.

To return to Appraising mode, tap the symbol once.

The humidity can be set between 30% and 70% . In the "Co" setting (for "Continuous"), the ultrasonic runs regardless of the measured humidity. This means it does not switch off until the tank is empty or the appliance is switched off.

1. Tap the 念 symbol. The current humidity display starts flashing.
2. While the display is flashing, tap the symbol again until the desired humidity is set.

The value is applied after a few seconds. The display stops flashing.

CONTROLLING OUTPUT

1. Tap the symbol multiple times until the desired level appears on the display.

The symbol on the display indicates which of the three levels (low/medium/high) has been selected:

COMFORT FUNCTIONS

SWITCHING THE HEATER ON AND OFF

The BONECO U350 is equipped with a heater that can be turned on and off. It warms the outgoing mist up to approximately 35^ (95^) so that the room temperature stays at a comfortable level.

It takes a few minutes until the heater reaches its full output.

1. Tap the symbol once to switch on or off the heater.

FRAGRANCE CONTAINER

Commercially available scented aromatic substances for humidifiers can be added to the fragrance container on the back of the BONECO U350.

Never add the aromatic substance directly into the water tank or water base; doing so will damage the BONECO U350 and void the warranty!

1. Press down on the fragrance container to unlock the drawer.

1. Sprinkle the cotton wedding in the drawer with the fragrance of your choice.

TIMER FUNCTIONS

The timer function lets you determine how long the BONECO U350 should run before it switches off automatically (OFF timer).

Alternatively, you can specify a time for when the appliance should switch on automatically (ON timer). For example, you can use this function to activate the BONECO U350 before you return home, so that when you get back you have the perfect home climate waiting for you.

SETTING THE OFF TIMER

1. Switch on the BONECO U350.

2. Select the desired settings.

3. Tap the symbol multiple times until the desired run time is displayed.

Now the BONECO U350 will run for the specified time and then switch off.

1. To deactivate the OFF timer early, switch the BONECO U350 off and back on as needed.

SETTING THE ON TIMER

1. Switch off the BONECO U350.

2. Tap the symbol multiple times until the desired standby time is displayed.

The BONECO U350 switches on after the defined time and operates with the selected settings.

1. To deactivate the ON timer early, switch the BONECO U350 off and back on as needed.

NOTES ON CARE

CAPEINSTRUCTIONS

The longer the appliance is operated, the more the performance of the A7017 Ionic Silver Stick decreases and scale builds up on the inner parts of the BONECO U350. Stagnant water can also impair cleanliness and lead to unpleasant odors. This means regular maintenance and cleaning is necessary to ensure clean and unimpaired operation.

Recommended cleaning and maintenance intervals vary depending on air quality, water quality and operating time.

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior.

Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.

DESCALING AND CLEANING

ON DESCALING

If stubborn limescale deposits form at the bottom of the BONECO U350, the appliance must also be descaled in addition to the cleaning. For this process, use the provided A7417 "CalcOff" descaling agent. You can obtain a refill of the agent from your BONECO specialist dealer.

The appliance must always be unplugged from the power outlet before draining it. Failure to do so can result in electric shock and pose the risk of severe or fatal injury!
Tip the long side of the BONECO U350 towards the sink (with the viewing window facing down). This prevents water from getting into the air outlet and damaging the appliance.

DESCALING THE APPLIANCE

1. Disconnect the BONECO U350 from the power outlet.

1. Empty the water tank.

1. Remove the A250 and the A7017 Ionic Silver Stick

2. Mix 1 bag of Calcoff with 1 liter (1 quart) of water and pour the mixture into the water tank, one half to the left and right each.

1. Wait 30 minutes to allow the solution to take effect.
2. Clean the BONECO U350 with a dish brush.

1. Rinse the inside of the water tank with fresh tap water.
2. Reinsert the A250 and the A7017 Ionic Silver Stick
3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.

CLEARING THE CLEANINGMESSAGE

After completion of cleaning, clear the message pressing the button and holding it for 3 seconds.

CLEANING THE MEMBRANE

Never clean the membrane using sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents; doing so can damage the BONECO U350 and voids the warranty!

Mineral deposits on the membrane can be removed using the yellow cleaning brush attached to the cover of the BONECO U350.

REPLACING CONSUMABLES

REPLACING THE A7017 IONIC SILVER STICK

The A7017 Ionic Silver Stick prevents the growth of bacteria in water, making a vital contribution to health and cleanliness. The A7017 Ionic Silver Stick is subject to wear and has to be replaced regularly.

The appliance must always be unplugged from the power outlet before draining it. Failure to do so can result in electric shock and pose the risk of severe or fatal injury!

Tip the long side of the BONECO U350 towards the sink (with the viewing window facing down). This prevents water from getting into the air outlet and damaging the appliance.

1. Disconnect the BONECO U350 from the power outlet.
2. Empty the water tank.

1. Remove the used A7017 Ionic Silver Stick and dispose of it with your regular household waste.

1. Insert the new A7017 Ionic Silver Stick
2. Put the BONECO U350 back together.
3. Plug the power cord into a power outlet and switch on the appliance.
4. Delete the message for the replacement by pressing the and buttons and holding them for 3 seconds.

ON THE A250

PREPARED THE A250

Please observe the accompanying manual for starting up the A250.

ON WATER HARDNESS

The BONECO U350 is supplied with the A250. The granulate contained in it filters the lime out of the tap water so that it is not released into the room air. Hard tap water accelerates saturation of the granulate, making it necessary to replace the A250 earlier.

Dispose of the saturated A250 with your regular household waste.

White dust around the appliance is a sure indication that the A250 is fully worn out.

REPLACING THE A250

The A250 must be replaced every 2 to 6 months. In cases of very hard water, it may have to be replaced sooner. White dust around the appliance is a sure indication that the A250 is fully worn out.

Please observe the accompanying manual for starting up the A250.

The used A250 can be disposed of with your regular household waste.
