Safety precautions
To reduce the risk of injury, loss of life, electric shock, fire, and damage to property, always observe the following safety precautions.

To protect the skin
The following persons should not use this appliance:

Do not use in the following body area:
Face, vulva
Injuries, rashes, moles, bruises, warts, pimples, etc., and the surrounding areas - Flaccid skin
- Doing so may cause injury, inflammation of the skin, or bleeding.

Do not apply strong pressure to the skin, move repeatedly over the same area or move back and forth in one area. Also, do not use with a jabbing motion.
- Doing so may cause injury or inflammation of the skin, or increased pain.

Do not forcefully press the outer foil. Also, do not touch the outer foil with fingers or nails when in use.
- Doing so may cause injury to skin or reduce the life of the outer foil.

Do not touch the blade section (metallic section) of the inner blade.
- Doing so may cause injury to your hands.
Before using, check that the outer foil is free from deformities, cracks, and damage.
Use the bikini comb to trim your pubic hair.
- Failure to do so may cause injury to the skin.

Use the appliance only for its intended use.
- Failure to do so may cause injury.

If skin problems appear after use, stop using the appliance and contact a dermatologist.
- Failure to do so may cause symptoms to worsen.

When storing or carrying, always attach the protection cap.
- Failure to do so may cause injury to skin or reduce the life of the outer foil.

The batteries

Do not throw into fire, short circuit or disassembly.
- Doing so may cause a burn or injury.
CAUTION
Always follow the cautions printed on the batteries.
Check the polarity of the batteries (+ and -) and install them correctly.
Do not mix old batteries with new ones, and do not mix batteries of different types.
Remove the batteries immediately and dispose of
them safely when they are discharged.
Remove the batteries when not using the appliance for an extended period of time. Use the batteries by the recommended use-by date.
- Failure to do so may cause overheating or explosion of the batteries, injury or contamination of surroundings due to leakage.

Always attach the protection cap after use to prevent the outer foil from becoming damaged.

This comb shortens long pubic hair.

Batteries are not supplied. Please purchase them separately.
Installing or replacing the batteries (Fig. 2)
1 Make sure the power switch is in the "0" position.
2 Pull the battery cover straight to remove it.
3 Check the polarities of the batteries, and install two batteries.
The batteries may not fit in perfectly. Attaching the battery cover helps the batteries to fit in.
4 Attach the battery cover.
- Press firmly until it clicks.
If the main body is wet, thoroughly wipe it to prevent water droplets from getting inside.
Notes
- You can use the appliance for approximately 1 month with two Panasonic LR03 (AAA alkaline batteries).
(When used for approx. 5 minutes at one time, once every 3 days, in a room temperature of 20^ ) - Use only LR03 (AAA alkaline battery).
(The power or number of uses may vary if other batteries are used.) - Do not use rechargeable batteries.
How to use
While using this appliance for the first time, apply the shaver lightly against the skin and try to shave small areas.
Wet shaving (with using foam)
Lathering up the skin well before shaving will let the appliance glide smoothly.
- Do not use any body soaps which contain salts or scrubbing agents, or which have a rough texture. Also do not use shaving cream, milky lotions, or the like. Doing so may clog the blade or cause a malfunction.
Dry shaving
The appliance will not glide smoothly and may leave the unshaved hairs when your skin is wet. Make sure your skin is completely dry and clean before use.
- Do not use any lotions, milky lotions, powders, antiperspirants, or the like.
- Using deodorants may cause the blade to rust, so please clean it with water after each use.
How to use (Fig. 3)
1 Remove the protection cap.
2 Check that the outer foil is free from deformities, cracks, and damage.
- Failure to do so may cause skin injury.
3 Slide the power switch whilst pressing the lock button.
- The power switch can not be slipped without pressing the lock button.
Tips for moving the shaver (Fig. 4)
Make the entire outer foil contact with the skin.
- Move the appliance slowly against the flow of hair.
Use the pop-up trimmer to shorten them before shaving.
- Slide up the pop-up trimmer switch. (Fig. 5)
- Apply the appliance lightly to the skin and move it. (Fig. 6)
Underarms
Raise up your arm as skin stretches. Move the appliance from either directions to the other with changing your grip on the main body (Fig. 7)
Legs
Upwards from the bottom of the leg (Fig. 7)
Arms
Inwards from the outside of the arm (Fig. 7)
Bikini area (bikini line)
Make sure the line which you would like to shave, and then trim excessive hair with the pop-up trimmer. (Fig. 8)
Bikini area (pubic hair)
Trim your pubic hair with the bikini comb. (Fig. 8)
Always use the bikini comb.
- Dry shave only.
- Stroke the hair against the flow before shaving to make the flat hairs to stand.
Using the bikini comb
- Attach the bikini comb. (Fig. 9)
- Slide up the pop-up trimmer switch, and turn the power switch on. (Fig. 9)
- Make the comb tightly contact with the skin, and move the appliance slowly. (Fig. 10)
While using this appliance for the first time, apply the shaver lightly against the skin and try to shave small areas.
- Be careful to shave areas which are difficult to see. Otherwise it may cause injure your skin.
After use
Store the appliance away from sinks, bathrooms or other high-humidity areas where it could be exposed to water and moisture after use.
Leaving the appliance in a bathroom or similar areas may cause condensation or rust in the main body, which may cause a malfunction.
Cleaning
- Make sure the power switch is in the "0" position.
Dry cleaning
- Remove the outer foil frame and the inner blade. (Fig. 13, 14)
- Clean with the attached brush. (Fig. 11)
- Raise the pop-up trimmer to clean hair dust inside the pop-up trimmer.
Wet cleaning
- Remove the outer foil frame.
-
Rinse with cold or warm water.
-
Wipe with a dry cloth, and dry completely in a well-ventilated area. (Fig. 12)

Use a dry cloth to wipe away any substances on the blade.
- Remove the outer foil frame to dry it quicker. (Fig. 12)
- Do not wipe the main body with alcohol, nail polish remover, or the like.
Doing so may result in malfunction, breakage of parts, discoloration, or the like.
Removing and attaching the outer foil frame (Fig. 13)
- Remove the outer foil frame by pushing the frame release buttons on both sides.
- Attach the outer foil frame evenly until it clicks.
Removing and attaching the inner blade (Fig. 14)
- Remove the inner blade by holding the both ends and pulling straight away from the main body.
- Insert the inner blade by holding the both ends and pressing downward.
Replacing the outer foil
- Remove the outer foil only when replacing it.

Make sure the power switch is in the "0" position.
-
Pull the outer foil forward by holding the two hooks (a) inside the outer foil. (Fig. 15)
- Hold the two hooks and insert the outer foil into the outer foil frame until it clicks. (Fig. 16)
