For safety reasons, children or persons who are not familiar with the instruction manual and operation of the leaf blower, must not use it. The minimum age of users may be defined by local or national legislation.
Do not operate the leaf blower when there are people (especially children) or animals in the immediate vicinity. Ensure children do not play with the leaf blower.
Stop using the device if persons (especially children) or animals are nearby. Do not allow any other persons to enter the danger area.

Likewise persons must be familiar with this instruction manual before using the device. The minimum age for using the device may be specified by local or national legislation.
Cleaning and servicing may not be carried out by children.
Always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers as well as other appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear defenders, safety gloves etc.) when working with the leaf blower. The wearing of personal protective equipment minimises the risk of injury.

Before use, make sure you are familiar with the leaf blower, its functions and controls.

When in use
Remove the power pack from the device:
- Whenever you leave the device unattended.
- Before removing blockages.
- Before checking cleaning or working on the device.
- After impacting a foreign body to check the device for damage.
- For immediate checking if the device starts to vibrate excessively.
Never leave the leaf blower unattended during breaks and store it in a secure location.

Safety instructions
Adopt a normal posture. Ensure you are standing securely and that you maintain your balance at all times. Pay particular attention, if you are working on a slope. Do not run, rather walk forwards at a steady pace. This will ensure that you can maintain better control of the device if unexpected situations occur.
Take extra care if you are walking backwards. Risk of tripping!
Switch the motor off when carrying the device to or from separate working positions.
Never bypass or manipulate safety devices installed on the device (e.g. by taping the push-button to the handle).
After use
Switch the device off, remove the power pack and check the device for damage.
If you need to clean or service the device, switch it off and remove the power pack.
Ensure that ventilation slots are free from dirt.
Do not clean the leaf blower using water.
Store the device in a safe, dry location out of the reach of children.
Do not repair the device yourself; it must be repaired by a qualified expert or workshop.

Spare parts must meet the requirements of the manufacturer. Therefore use only original WOLF-Garten spare parts or spare parts approved by the manufacturer. The leaf blower is intended solely for the blowing together of leaves and mowed cuttings in private households.
Any other use is classed as unintended use. The user is liable for any damages arising from unintended use.

This leaf blower should not be used in public facilities, parks, sports grounds, roads etc. nor in agriculture or forestry.

Putting into use Supplementary documentation

Make sure the operating instructions of the POWER Base 72V / POWER Base 72V Basic charger and of the Li High Energy 72V power pack are available and that you understand them and adhere to them.
Power pack charging


Power pack charging must be carried out according to the instructions in the supplementary documentation.
Operating times
Observe the times stipulated in local byelaws.
Check if there are any operating time limitations with your local authorities.
Assembly
Assembly (Fig. A B C D E)
Pick up the leaf blower casing and press the locating button.
Press the upper part of the blowing tube on to the leaf blower casing B.
The blowing tube comes with a shorter A b and a longer A c attachment. Select according to the application.
Press the attachment of your choice onto the blowing tube using a twisting movement C.
Attach the carrying at the two hooks D.

Note
For safety reasons only carry the device supported over your shoulder and never around your neck.
The optional rake A e, is typically used to loosen wet leaves from the ground.
To fit the rake, push it laterally onto the mounting on the long attachment E.

Operation
Switching the device on (Fig. 6)
The harder you press the on/off switch, the higher the blowing speed.
Press the on/off switch until you sense a resistance 1.
Operation at half power.
Press the on/off switch further to increase the blowing speed.
Boost mode
The leaf blower has an additional boost mode for very high blowing speeds.
Press the boost switch in addition to the on/off switch.
Switching the device off
Release the on/off switch and where applicable the boost switch to switch the device off.

Servicing

WARNING!

Keep the ventilation slots clean and free from dust.

Never spray the device with water or a pressure washer.
Storage
Thoroughly clean your device after every season.
Always store the device in a dry and safe location that is inaccessible to children.
Store the power pack and leaf blower separately.
Store the power pack in a cool and dry location.
Recommended storage temperature approx. 18^
Keep the leaf blower and especially its plastic components away from brake fluids, petrol, mineral oil containing products, penetrating oils etc. They contain chemical substances that can damage, attack or destroy the plastic components of the leaf blower.
Fertilizers and other garden chemicals contain substances that may have a highly corrosive effect on the metal parts of the leaf blower. Therefore do not store your leaf blower in the vicinity of these substances.
