The harness has 3 positions. To adjust, open the harness buckle on the right side of the seat, remove the tab, then thread the end of the strap into the opening corresponding to the desired height. The child's shoulders should be at the same level as the harness in the back.
How to install the seat rear-facing?
Place the seat on the vehicle's rear seat, with the backrest facing the road. Pull the seat belt all the way out, pass it between the seat and the base of the car seat, then buckle it. Ensure the belt is tight and not twisted. Use the red buckle for secure fastening.
Is the seat compatible with a front passenger airbag?
No, never use a rear-facing car seat on a seat equipped with an airbag. This could cause fatal injuries. Always install the seat in the back of the vehicle.
Can I machine wash the cover?
No, the cover must be hand washed only at a temperature below 30°C, with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach and do not tumble dry.
How to clean the safety belts?
Clean them with a damp cloth only. Do not use solvents or bleach, as they could damage the fibers and compromise safety.
How to adjust the seat recline?
Use the lever located between the seat and base. Pull it up while tilting the seat forward or backward. Release the lever when the desired angle is reached. A click confirms locking.
Is the seat reusable after an accident?
No, after a serious accident, the seat and belt may be weakened. Replace them systematically, even if they appear intact.
What is the recommended lifespan of the seat?
BabyGO does not give a specific duration, but it is recommended not to use a second-hand car seat or one older than 6 to 10 years, as materials may degrade. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and regularly check the condition of the seat.
