OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Mod. 602.. Hot air styler set with Tourmaline Technology

Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include valuable advice on safety and

how to use the equipment. Look after these operating instructions carefully.

•Important: In order to guarantee additional protection, it

is recommended that a differential breaker with an

intervention current not greater than 30 mA is installed in

the electrical system which feeds the device. For further

information, contact a qualified electrician.

•Make sure the unit is perfectly dry before using it.

•WARNING: Do not use this appliance near

bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels

•This appliance can be used by children from 8 years of

age and over, and by persons with limited physical,

sensory or mental abilities or who lack the relevant

experience and knowledge, if they are suitably

supervised or have been educated to use the appliance

safely and made aware of the associated risks.

•Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

•Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance

procedures unless supervised.

•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced

by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly

qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Do not

use your unit if it is not working properly. Do not try

to repair this electrical unit yourself, rather contact

an authorized technician.

•When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug

it after use since the proximity of water presents a

hazard even when the appliance is switched off.

• Only connect this unit to alternating current and check that the mains supply voltage

corresponds to that indicated on the unit.

• Never immerse this unit in water or other liquids.

• Do not put this unit down where it could fall into water or other liquids.

• Do not try to pull any electrical appliance out when it has fallen into water - disconnect the

plug from the power socket immediately.

• Always switch off the unit before putting it down.

• After use always switch the unit off and remove the plug from the power supply socket. Do

not pull on the wire to remove the plug from the power supply socket.

• Do not pull the plug out of the power supply socket when your hands are wet.

• When using the appliance make sure the air intake and exhaust grilles are never obstructed.

This unit is fitted with a device to guard against overheating that switches it off immediately

when the temperature gets too high. Should this happen, move the switch to the 0 position

and leave it to cool for 5 minutes.

• Always allow the unit to cool before putting it away and never wrap the cord around the unit.

• Check that the cord has not been damaged from time to time.

• Do not use your unit if it is not working properly, if it has fallen or if the cord is damaged.

use is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer accepts no

responsibility for damage caused by improper or erroneous use.

• Do not use hair spray while the unit is running.

• To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to unwind the entire length of the cord.

• Warning - The metal parts overheat if used for too long. Be careful and allow these parts to

cool before touching them.

This hairdryer conforms to the safety regulations regarding electrical appliances.

This hairdryer has a safety cut-out which will operate in case of overheating. The dryer

will re-set itself after being left to cool for a few minutes, but please check air inlet and

outlet grills are clear before continuing to use the dryer.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Switch position

2 = very hot air / strong air flow

Before use select the voltage to be used - 115V or 230V - depending on your power supply

voltage. To turn the voltage selector on the unit’s handle, use a small screwdriver or some

• Applying/changing accessories

Fit the accessory on the unit so that the reference marks ►◄ correspond and then turn the ring

nut on the unit anticlockwise until the symbols are aligned with one another (►●). To remove

or change an accessory, turn the ring nut clockwise back to the start position ►◄, then

the accessory can be removed easily.

USING THE VARIOUS ACCESSORIES

• Retractable combs thermal brush for tangle free waves & curls, Ø 30 mm

This is designed to create curls and waves quickly. In addition, the metal coating means that

the hair style stays in place . To style your hair using this accessory - With the unit off make

the bristles stick out of the metal casing by turning the ring nut at the top of it clockwise until

it stops turning. Then wind a lock of hair around the brush, starting from the ends and working

towards the roots. Switch the unit on and briefly heat your hair, putting the switch in position

1 or 2. For better hold, let the locks cool in position  for a few seconds. To release your hair

the lock need not be unrolled, simply turn the ring nut at the end of the brush anticlockwise to

retract the bristles into the metal casing. Then pull the brush out of the curl.

• Thermal bristles with massaging bristles for volume & shine, Ø 25 mm

It is particularly recommended for brushing hair, leaving it shiny and volumised. Plus, as you

are brushing, the rounded bristle tips also massage the scalp.

Important: This accessory is not designed to create curls, as hair could become tangled up

in the bristles when each section is unrolled.
