To clean or replace the full dust bag on your HOTPOINT SL B07 BEW vacuum cleaner, start by turning off and unplugging the device from the electrical outlet for your safety. Then wait for the device to cool down slightly before proceeding with the following steps.

Open the dust compartment cover by pressing the opening button located on the device. Locate the Pure Clean bag (36), which is the reusable fabric bag of your vacuum cleaner. This fabric bag is more durable than a traditional paper bag and can be cleaned and reused multiple times.

To clean the dust compartment, gently remove the Pure Clean bag by pulling it towards you. Empty its contents outside the house, then clean the inside of the dust compartment by removing dust residues using a brush or a dry cloth. Take this opportunity to also clean the motor filter grille (38) and the motor filter (37) by removing dust with a soft brush, in order to maintain good suction power.

To replace the bag, unclip the bag holder (35) and completely remove the used Pure Clean bag. If the bag is too dirty, you can lightly wash it with cold water, then let it dry completely in the open air before reusing it. Then insert the clean Pure Clean bag or a new bag into the holder all the way to the bottom, then reposition the whole assembly in the designated dust compartment.

Make sure that the Pure Clean bag and the bag holder are properly seated. Close the dust compartment cover until it clicks into place. If the cover does not close easily, check that the bag and its holder are correctly positioned.
