  • Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.
  • Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning section, before use.
  • This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
    • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • WARNING: Misuse of this appliance can lead to potential injury. Care shall be taken when emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE

  • Make sure that all product's packaging has been removed.
  • Please read carefully the "Safety advice and warnings" section before first use
  • Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section.
  • Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use.

USE

  • Extend the supply cord housing before plugging it in.
  • Connect the appliance to the mains.
  • Press the lock/unlock button to raise the upper part.
  • Fix the anti-splash lid by turning anticlockwise and check it is well fixed.
  • Place the accessory that will be used on the mount shaft and turn it until it is tightly fitted.
  • Press the lock/unlock button and push down the upper housing until returns to initial position.
  • Turn the appliance on, by using the selector knob.
  • Select the desired speed.
    • Work with the food you want to process.
  • To avoid a fierce start up, it is advisable to start off from the lowest speed position and progressively increase the speed to the desired position.
  • To switch off the appliance, turn the selector knob until position 0.

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE

  • Stop the appliance, move to position 0 the selector knob.
    • Take off the anti-splash lid.
  • Press the lock/unlock button while raising the upper part.
  • Unplug the appliance from the mains.
  • Remove the accessory used
  • Clean the appliance.

ACCESSORIES WHISK ACCESSORY

  • This accessory is used to whipping cream, beat eggs, batters, fatless sponges, meringues, cheesecakes, mousses, and soufflés.
  • Do not use this accessory for heavy mixtures. (e. Creaming fat and sugar) could damage appliance.
  • Using selector knob gradually increases to maximum speed.

MIXING BEATER ACCESSORY

  • This accessory is used for mixing food and making biscuits, pasta and fillings, as well as mashed potatoes.
  • To cream fat and sugar, start on minimum speed and gradually increase to maximum.
  • Beating eggs into creamed mixtures: from 4 to maximum.
  • Folding flour, fruit: From minimum to 1 speed.
  • All ingredients for a cake: start from minimum speed and gradually increase to maximum.
  • Rubbing fat into flour: from minimum to 2nd speed.
  • It is recommended that intermediate speeds are used from 2-6, depending on the type of mixes.

DOUGH HOOK ACCESSORY

  • This accessory is used for kneading bread, pizza dough and dense cakes.
  • Using selector knob from minimum speed, increase gradually to speed 3.
  • Do not use speeds greater than 3.

SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR

  • The appliance has a safety device, which protects the appliance from overheating.
  • If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself on again, disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the machine does not start again seek authorised technical assistance.

CLEANING

  • Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
  • Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
  • Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
