3.2. Preparation for operation

POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

The ambient temperature must not exceed 40^ and ambient humidity should not exceed 85% . Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10cm from any wall of the unit. Keep the unit away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof, and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons with impaired mental, sensory, and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the main plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification plate!

Before using the unit for the first time, disassemble all parts and wash them as well as the entire unit.

3.4. Working with the device

1) Connect the device to the power supply - CAUTION! The appliance is delivered without a plug, you should obtain such a plug on your own and have it installed by a qualified electrician.
2) Make sure that the oil drain located inside the cabinet is closed.
3) Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button (6). The unit will go into standby mode and the oil fill indicator (2) will light up. Fill the tank with oil intended for gastronomic use until the oil level is between the maximum and minimum markings, then press the oil fill button (2). Now the unit is ready for operation.

CAUTION! The device performs a self-test with each start-up. If there is no oil in the tank or it is not enough, the overheating protection will prevent further operation. The overheating protection will turn on the buzzer, light up the oil fill indicator and display the information about the lack of oil as "—" on the display.
