ACHTUNG!

To ensure a long and failure-free operation of machines from Royal Catering, we recommend turning on the main switch only if the temperature control is set to 0. Using the main switch while the temperature control indicates any other value than 0 could limit the operating life of the main switch significantly.

3.2. Preparing for use

APPLIANCE LOCATION

The temperature of environment must not be higher than 40^ C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%. Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance between each side of the device and the wall or other objects.

Place the unit on a heat resistant basis!

The device should always be used when positioned on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out of the reach of children and persons with limited mental and sensory functions. Position the device such that you always have access to the power plug. The power cord connected to the appliance must be properly grounded and correspond to the technical details on the product label.

Only use the device in a horizontal position. Do not shake the device.

Disassemble the device and all its components and clean them before the first use.

ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE

Before use, attach the handle to the basket. Install the holder as shown in the drawing below. (Attaching the handle does not apply to the RCPBG 16H model).

Electrical connection

All models of the device, powered by a voltage of 400V, require an electrical connection. Connect the wires coming from the device (L1, L2, L3, PE and N) to the power plug. The connection should be made by a qualified electrician.

3.3. Device use

  1. Ground the device housing, use the grounding terminal located on the back of the griddle.
  2. Fill the tanks with oil so that level is between the marks of minimum and maximum level.
  3. Before connecting the device to the power supply, always check that the temperature control knob is set to "0".
  4. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
  5. Use the ON/OFF switch to turn the device on (twin models have separate switches, indicators and a temperature control knob for each module). The green light will come on. Then select the required temperature (in a clockwise direction); the orange light will come on and the heating element will begin heating up. Once the required temperature has been reached, the heating orange light will go off. The thermostat will maintain the required temperature by automatically switching the heating element on and off. This maintains the required temperature and saves electricity. You may begin frying.

  6. For frying, use the provided baskets, attach the handles first (assembly does not apply to the RCPBG 16H model). Place food in the basket and immerse it into the oil. When the food is tried, hang the basket up on the nail to let the oil drop off. Always carry the basket using the handle.

  7. The covers are designed to keep the content warm and t protect it from dirt. If you want to use the covers, make sure they are not wet.
  8. When you finish work, set the temperature control knob to "0", and then turn the device off using the On/Off button.
  9. Then arrange the heating elements as shown in the figure below. Move the panel by 90^ and place the heating elements vertically above the tank. This way, the rest of the oil will flow into the tank.
