How to install the LunAqua 3 LED spotlight?

You can mount it on the wall, on the ground with the support foot, or on the provided pole. For pole mounting, remove the spotlight from the foot, slide it onto the pole and drive the pole into the ground. Ensure sufficient stability.

Can I use this light underwater?

Yes, the LunAqua 3 LED is designed for use above and under water. It is waterproof and can be submerged up to 3 meters.

How to connect the device?

Connect the spotlight cable to the transformer socket and hand-tighten the coupling nut. Then plug the transformer into a properly installed mains socket. The transformer must be placed at least 2 meters away from the water.

What to do if the lamp does not light up?

First check the power supply (socket, fuse). If that is fine, the bulb may be defective. Replace it with an original OASE bulb. Caution: always disconnect power before any intervention.

How to replace the bulb?

Unscrew the retaining ring, remove the glass and O-ring. Remove the defective bulb and insert the new one (only original OASE bulb). Reassemble in reverse order, ensuring the O-ring is properly seated. Reconnect and test.

Can I use a light dimmer?

No, the device must not be used with a dimmer. This could damage the sensitive electrical components of the spotlight.

How to clean the spotlight?

Clean the device with clear water using a soft brush if necessary. Ensure no moisture enters the interior. Always disconnect power before cleaning.

What are the important safety instructions?

Use a residual current circuit breaker of max. 30 mA. Place the transformer more than 2 m from the water's edge. Only connect if the electrical specifications match. Do not use if the cable or housing is damaged.

• Ensure that the unit is fused for a rated fault current of max. 30 mA by means of a fault current protection device.
• Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply correspond. The unit data is to be found on the unit type plate, on the packaging or in this manual.
• Possible death or severe injury from electrocution! Before reaching into the water, disconnect all electrical units in the water from the mains.
• Do not use the unit if electrical cables or housings are damaged.
• A damaged connection cable cannot be replaced. Dispose of the unit.

Correct electrical installation

• Electrical installations must meet the national regulations and may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- A person is regarded as a qualified electrician if, due to his/her vocational education, knowledge and experience, he or she is capable of and authorised to judge and carry out the work commissioned to him/her. Intended use

LunAqua 3 LED, referred to as "unit", may only be used as specified in the following:

• For use in water fountain systems and ponds.
• For use above and under water.
• Operate in accordance with instructions.

Installation and connection

• Install the transformer at least 2 m from the edge of the pond.
- Position the unit in such a way that it does not present a hazard to anyone.
- Ensure safe and stable seating. Ensure the sufficient load carrying capacity of the wall or ground for installation on the wall or on the base.
- For installation above water: Ensure a safety distance of at least 50 cm from combustible material. Fire hazard: Do not cover the unit!

Installation on the ground stake

How to proceed:

1. Pull the spotlight sideways from the base foot.
2. Push the spotlight sideways onto the ground stake and push the ground stake almost completely into the ground. Check its stability.

Tilting the unit

- Turn the holding screw counterclockwise and tilt the unit as required. To fasten in place turn the holding screw clockwise.

Connect the unit

- Connect the connection cable of the spotlight to the socket on the transformer and hand-tighten the union nut.

Commissioning/start-up

The unit will be destroyed if it is operated with a dimmer. It contains sensitive electrical components.

• Prior to reaching into the water, isolate (switch off and disconnect) all units/devices used in the water.
• Isolate the device (disconnect from the power supply) before carrying out any work on it.

Switching on: Insert the power plug of the transformer into the socket.

- Check the function of the spotlights.

Switching off: Disconnect the transformer power plug.

Maintenance and cleaning

Replacing the bulb

- Only use original bulbs from OASE. (→ Technical data)

- The unit may be damaged by the use of spare parts from other manufacturers.

How to proceed:

2. Remove the glass pane and O ring, check for damage and replace if necessary.
3. Remove the defective bulb from the housing.
4. Insert the new bulb.
5. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order.

Ensure that the O ring is correctly positioned.
