A charging process is then only possible if all test criteria have been met. Do not use adapter plugs or extension cables. The device must be plugged directly into the fixed socket. The electrical system and the socket, which are provided for charging electric cars, must be checked by an electrician before use. Only use the device in an ambient temperature between -25 °C and 45 °C. Only use mobile charging stations

up to height of 4,000 m above sea level. A slightly higher temperature during charging is absolutely normal and not a malfunction. Protect the mobile charging station

from moisture and high temperatures, including fires. Store the mobile charging station

in a dry place and protect the device from moisture and corrosion. Do not drop the mobile charging station

while it is being used. The mobile charging station

is designed for electric cars with type 2 plug (in accordance with EN 62196-2). When using the mobile charging station

and socket. Electromagnetic compatibility The Mobile Charging Station meets the requirements for use in residential areas according to EN 61000-6-3:2020. z Using the device Start the charging process: Unwind the charging cable

into the 230 V mains socket. The digital charging display

indicates that a car is not yet connected:13 GB/IE/NI/CY/MT The left part of the LED strip

flashes and indicates that charging is not taking place. Remove the protective cap

on the car side. Plug the plug

into the car. The digital charging display

indicates that a car is connected: The left part of the LED strip

continues to flash. Start the charging process on the car, if you want to charge immediately, without using the car’s timer. Selecting the charge current: each time you press the button

a different charge current will be displayed (charge current

). The following charge currents can be selected: 6 A (approx. 1.4 kW at 230 V) 8 A (approx. 1.8 kW at 230 V) 10 A (approx. 2.3 kW at 230 V) 13 A (approx. 3.0 kW at 230 V) 16 A (approx. 3.7 kW at 230 V) If the button

is not pressed for 5 seconds, the selection is con- firmed. The last selected charge current will always be stored. The charging process will now be activated as long as the car’s charging timer is deactivated. The digital charging display

indicates that the car is being charged: The LED strip

continually lights up from left to right and this indicates that current is flowing into the car. Otherwise the charging process will start at the time programmed in the car. In this case, the digital charging display

indicates that a car is connected: The left part of the LED strip

continues to flash. Some cars carry out a test charge first for a few seconds. In this case the digital charging display

indicates that the mobile charging station is ready to charge at the time programmed in the car: Other cars take a very low14 GB/IE/NI/CY/MT charge current, before the actual charging at the time programmed in the car. In this case the digital charging display

already indicates that the car is being charged: The LED strip

continually lights up from left to right and this indicates that current is flowing into the car. The display

, and the charging capacity

Finish the charging process and disconnect the mobile charging station

The charging process will stop automatically at the time pro- grammed in the car. The digital charging display

indicates that the charging process is complete: The full LED strip

lights up. If the charging timer in the car is deactivated, then finish the charging process in the car. The charging process will stop. The digital charging display

indicates that the charging process is complete: The full LED strip

lights up. On the display

you can read off the charging time

and the energy supplied

from the car and put the cover cap

from the 230 V socket. Wind up the charging cable

without kinks. Store the mobile charging station

in its packaging and keep it in the car in an orderly way. Finish the charging process at the mobile charging station

If, during charging, the button

is pressed for approx. 5 seconds, the charging process will stop. The digital charging display

indicates that the charging process is complete: The full LED strip

lights up. On the display

you can read off the charging time

and the energy supplied

. By pressing it again for approx. 5 seconds, a new charging process can be15 GB/IE/NI/CY/MT activated. The digital charging display

indicates that a car is connected: The left part of the LED strip

flashes. The charge current can be selected again by pressing the button

within 5 seconds. However if you want to discon- nect the mobile charging station

from your car, proceed as follows: Finish the charging process on the car. Unplug the plug

from the car and put the cover cap

from the 230 V socket. Re-wind the charging cable properly afterwards and when doing this, making sure that the cable is not kinked. Now store the mobile charging station

properly in the packag- ing and keep it in the car. Voltage failure: If there is a voltage failure, the charging process will automatically resume once the voltage returns. Error messages: Fault Meaning Solution ERROR 1 The temperature is too high. (the temperature in the housing has increased to over 70 °C) Disconnect from the car and mains. Wait until the housing temperature has dropped, then start the charging process again. Use a damp cloth or a soft brush to clean the device and the accessories. z Storage Keep the device in a dry location and out of the reach of children. To avoid damage, take care to ensure that the charging cable

does not become kinked. z Information about recycling and disposal Do not dispose of electri- cal tools in household waste! Don’t throw away – recycle! According to European Directive 2012/19/EU, used electrical devices must be collected separately for environmentally compatible recycling or recovery. Electrical and electronic devices which have become waste are called old devices. Owners of old devices are obliged to place them in a collection which is separate from unsorted municipal waste. Owners of old devices have old batteries and old rechargeable battery packs, which are not enclosed by the old device, as well as bulbs which must be sep

arated from the device before it is handed in at a collection point. This does not apply if the old devices are handed in to public waste disposal authorities and they are separated from other old devices there for the purposes of preparation for recycling. If you are unsure, please contact an independent specialist. Owners of old devices from private households can hand these in to collection points for public waste disposal authorities or collection points which have been set up by manufacturers or distributors in line with the ElektroG (German disposal of electrical equipment act). The disposal of defective devices which you have sent in will be carried out free of charge. You can also return the old device to your Lidl branch, free of charge. As the end user, it is your responsibility to delete any personal information on the old devices to be disposed of. Please return this device, accessories and packaging to your local recycling depot. This device is marked in accordance with the 2012/19/EU directive on old electronic and electrical devices (WEEE). The symbol of the “crossed out dustbin” means that you are legally obliged to place these18 GB/IE/NI/CY/MT devices in a collection which is separate from unsorted municipal waste. Disposal through household waste is prohibited. Batteries con- taining harmful substances are labelled with the adjacent symbol, which indicates the prohibition on disposal in household waste. The abbreviations for the relevant heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Take used batteries to a waste management company in your city or community or return them to your dealer. This satisfies your legal obligations while also making an important contribution to protecting the environment. Please note the marking on the different packaging materials and separate them as necessary. The packaging materials are marked with abbrevia- tions (a) and digits (b) with the following definitions: 1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and cardboard, 80–98: Composite materials. z EC Declaration of Conformity We, the manufacturer, C.
