How to mount the TCPH 150 reel on the wall?

Attach the mounting bracket (4) to the wall using the supplied wall plugs and screws. Ensure no electrical cables or pipes are located in the drilling area. You can also hang the device by the suspension eyelet (5).

How to unwind and lock the hose to the desired length?

Pull the hose (2) to the desired length. The automatic lock engages when you hear a clicking sound. Release the hose to lock it.

How to wind up the hose after use?

Pull the hose (2) slightly to unlock the system, then guide it evenly onto the reel. The hose should always be wound up when the device is not in use.

What maximum pressure can the hose withstand?

The maximum admissible pressure is 16 bar. Never exceed this pressure to avoid risk of injury.

Can this hose be used for water or only for compressed air?

This product is designed exclusively for compressed air and not for water. Using it for water could damage the hose and reel.

When using the equipment, a few safety precautions must be observed to avoid injuries and damage. Please read the complete operating instructions and safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in a safe place, so that the information is available at all times. If you give the equipment to any other person, hand over these operating instructions and safety regulations as well. We cannot accept any liability for damage or accidents which arise due to a failure to follow these instructions and the safety instructions.

Explanation of the symbols used (see Fig. 3)

1. Danger! - Read the operating instructions to reduce the risk of injury.
2. Caution! Wear ear-muffs. The impact of noise can cause damage to hearing.
3. Caution! Wear gloves.
4. Caution! Wear safety goggles. Sparks generated during working or splinters, chips and dust emitted by the device can cause loss of sight.

After use, switch off the compressed air and empty the hose, making it easier to roll the hose up.
- The equipment must only be operated in an ambient temperature of +5^ to +40^ . The hose must not be exposed to direct sunlight, as otherwise this can result in damage to the hose.
- Do not expose the equipment to rain. Never use the equipment in damp or wet locations.
After use, the hose of the hose reel must be disconnected from the compressor.
- Protect the hose from heat, oil and sharp edges.
If the hose reel is not required, the hose should always be rolled up!

3. Proper use

The hose reel is designed to increase the working range of your compressor.

The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the

manufacturer will be liable for any damage or injuries of any kind caused as a result of this.

Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before using the equipment for the first time

5.1 Assembly (Fig. 2)

The hose reel can either be suspended by the suspension eyelet (5) or attached to a wall or ceiling using the mounting bracket (4).

Danger! Before drilling any holes, make sure that there are no electric cables or other installations (e.g. water pipes) where you are drilling. Ensure that the unit is secured firmly on the wall and that it is horizontal. Only use suitable fastening materials and make sure that the wall is capable of bearing the load.

The supplied wall plugs and screws are suitable for the following:

Concrete, natural stone with a dense structure, solid bricks, solid limestone bricks, solid lightweight concrete bricks, and aerated concrete.

5.2 Connections

6. Operation

6.1 Uncoiling

Pull out the hose (2) to the desired length from the hose reel (3). The length of the hose will automatically be locked if you let go of the hose (2) while the grating sound is audible.

6.2 Coiling up

The lock can be released with a short pull on the hose (2). Then feed the hose (2) evenly back into the hose reel.

The position of the hose stopper (6) can be adjusted to suit the required hose length. No tools are required for this.

Warning! The locking mechanism generates a grating sound when the hose is being uncoiled or coiled back up.

7. Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts

7.1 Cleaning

• Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
  We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it.
  Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could attack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensure that no water can seep into the device. The ingress of water into an electric tool increases the risk of an electric shock.

7.2 Maintenance

There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.

8. Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equipment and its accessories are made of various types of material, such as metal and plastic. Never place defective equipment in your household refuse. The equipment should be taken to a suitable collection center for proper disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of such a collection point, you should ask in your local council offices.

The reprinting or reproduction by any other means, in whole or in part, of documentation and papers accompanying products is permitted only with the express consent of the Einhell Germany AG.
