Familiarise yourself with the controls and the cor- rect use of the device. Never allow the device to be used by persons who are un- familiar with these instruc- tions. The age of the operator may be limited by local regula- tions. Always wear sturdy footwear and long trousers when oper- ating the device. Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery which can be suc- tioned into the air inlet. Keep long hair away from the air in- lets. Wear suitable safety goggles during operation. Only operate the device in daylight or under good artifi- cial lighting. Do not overextend yourself and keep your balance at all times. Always ensure that you have good footing on slopes. Walk with the device, do not run. Keep all cooling inlets free of dirt. Never blow dirt in the direction of nearby persons. Tighten all nuts, bolts and screws to ensure that the de- vice is in a safe operating state. Replace worn or damaged parts. Only use original spare parts and accessories.10 English Intended use 몇 WARNING Risk of injury from flying particles Use the leaf blower only when this does not endanger other persons in the vicinity. The device is intended for blowing leaf litter, grass clip- pings, hedge clipping and loose dirt lying on the ground. Only use the device in private households. Foreseeable misuse Any type of improper use is prohibited. The operating personnel are liable for damage resulting from incorrect use. Environmental protection The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the en- vironmental regulations. Electrical and electronic appliances contain valu- able, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential threat to human health and the environ- ment. 1. Plug the blower tube lower section onto the blower

2. Turn the blower tube clockwise to lock in position

1. Push the battery into the mounting in the device until

Care and service The device is maintenance-free. Troubleshooting guide Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorised Customer Service. As the battery pack ages, even if it is looked after, its ca- pacity reduces such that the full run time will no longer be reached when fully charged. This does not indicate a defect. Type plate The major device information is specified on the type plate. The location of the type plate on the device is specified in the "Device description" chapter. Faults on the device The device does not start up The battery pack is not inserted correctly.

1. Push the battery pack into the mounting in the de-

vice until it audibly latches into place. The battery pack is discharged.

1. Press and hold the power switch longer or press the

power switch a second time. The battery pack is defective.

We shall remedy possi- ble malfunctions on your appliance within the warranty period free of cost, provided that a material or manufac- turing defect is the cause.
