How to turn on the LBL 4 Battery leaf blower?

Push the main switch forward to position 1 (low speed) or 2 (high speed) to start. To stop, push it backward.

What type of battery to use with the LBL 4 Battery?

The blower requires a Kärcher Battery Power 36 V battery (model 36/25 recommended). 18 V batteries are not compatible.

How to install the blower tube?

Insert the lower part of the tube onto the upper part, then turn clockwise to lock the bayonet system.

Why does the blower stop during use?

This may be due to battery overheating. Let the battery cool down for a few minutes before using the appliance again. Also check that the battery is fully charged.

How to clean the blower?

The appliance does not require special maintenance. Keep the fresh air vents clean and free of dirt. Never immerse the appliance in water.

Blower pipe installation

1. Plug the blower tube lower section onto the blower tube upper section. Illustration C
2. Turn the blower tube clockwise to lock in position (bayonet lock). Illustration D

Turn the blower tube anticlockwise to unlock and remove.

Flat nozzle installation

1. Plug the flat nozzle onto the lower section of the blower tube. See Illustration B.

Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.

As the battery pack ages, even if it is looked after, its capacity reduces such that the full run time will no longer be reached when fully charged. This does not indicate a defect.

Do not overexert yourself; always maintain balance. Always maintain a stable stance on slopes. Walk, do not run. Do not allow the air intake openings to become clogged. Under no circumstances blow debris towards bystanders. - Tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws securely to

ensure the device is in a safe working condition.

General safety instructions

DANGER Danger of suffocation. Keep the packaging away from children.

WARNING

• People with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use the device only under supervision or if they have been instructed by the person responsible for their safety regarding the safe use of the device and if they understand the dangers arising from misuse of the device. Children must not use the device.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the device. Warning: Do not use the device if the working area is occupied by other people or animals.

Never point the device at people or animals. Use the device only outdoors. Regularly check the device for damage. If damaged, do not

operate the device.

Do not blow into the exhaust pipe of the device. Do not work with the device without the exhaust pipe installed. Do not cover the suction opening. Keep the area around the suction opening free of objects. Pay attention to the instructions for the battery and act accordingly. Read the manual carefully. Follow the maintenance and proper use instructions. Never allow the device to be used by people who are not familiar with this manual. The operator must be at least 18 years old. During work with the device, wear protective clothing and non-slip shoes. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that could be caught in the air intake. Keep your hair

away from the air intakes.

• Use the device only in daylight or in well-artificially lit areas. Do not lean over the device.
• When assembling, make sure the device stands stably on its legs. Use the device with care, do not push it. Before starting, check all air intakes for blockages. Never operate the device near people. Tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws to ensure the device is in a safe working condition. Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Use only original spare parts and accessories.

1. Press the power button to turn on the device. The heating level is set to "1" or "2" (only for LBL 4 Battery). The device starts.

With the increase of the battery capacity, the initial power is good, so even in a fully charged state, the device does not reach its full working time. This is not a defect.

During operation, keep children and pets away. - During operation, do not touch possible hot surfaces. Keep the device away from your face. During operation, wear protective goggles. Do not use the device in rainy or damp conditions. Do not smoke and keep a safe distance. - Do not look into the light beam. Do not run or jump with the device. Keep all ventilation openings clear. - Do not insert foreign objects into the openings. To prevent the device from being damaged, all screws, nuts and bolts must be tightened.

The accumulator battery has a limited lifespan. If it needs to be replaced, it should only be done by a specialist. This is not a malfunction.
