USE OR WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- The appliance should be used and kept over a flat and stable surface.

- Do not use the appliance if you have any kind of wound on your arm.
- Do not use this appliance cuff on children or people who cannot tell you if the cuff is too tight.
- Do not use the appliance, in the case of you have medical implants (such as a cardiac pacemaker...).
- The inductive electromagnetic fields generated by this product are not a risk to health. However, persons with a pacemaker should keep a minimum distance of 1 meter from the product while it is operating.
- People with cardiac arrhythmia, arteriosclerosis in the limbs, diabetes, vasoconstriction, serious hypertension or those with a pacemaker should consult their doctor before using the appliance, as there could be deviations in the readings in these cases.
- Use of this appliance should not replace a visit to your doctor.
USE AND CARE:
- Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly fitted.
- Do not use the appliance if the accessories attached to it are defective. Replace them immediately.
- Do not use the appliance without first having connected the air tube to the air tube connection.
- Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
- Do not move the appliance while in use.
- Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not going to use it for some time.
- This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use.
- This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for adult indoor use only. Ensure that this product is not used by the disabled, children or people unused to its handling.
- This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.
- Do not expose to extreme temperatures or strong magnetism.

SERVICE:
- The appliance has been verified and designed for a long useful life as is described in detail in the guarantee sheet included with the product, provided that it is used in domestic, non-professional conditions.
We recommend checking that the appliance is functioning correctly after approximately 10000 measurements and after any repair work. Take the appliance to an authorised Technical Support Service. - Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist personnel, and that only original spare parts or accessories are
used to replace existing parts/ accessories.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.
ASSEMBLING THE BATTERY/IES
- Caution: During the handling of batteries, do not touch both poles at the same time, as this will provoke the partial discharge of the stocked energy therefore affecting longevity.
- Remove the cover of the battery compartment.
- Check that the plastic covering that protects the battery has been removed (some batteries are sold with a protective covering).
- Put the battery in its compartment, respecting the polarity (Fig. 1).
- Close the cover of the battery compartment.
- It is essential that the batteries should always be the same kind and the same charge. Never mix alkaline batteries with normal one (Carbon-Zinc) and/ or rechargeable ones.
- If the low battery symbol Lo + is displayed, remaining power is low, replace with new batteries.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use.
SETTING DATE, TIME, UNIT OF PRESSURE AND MEMORY:
- When the monitor is off, press button SET (4) for about 3 seconds. The year digit will begin to flash. Press the memory button (3) to select the corresponding year.
- Next, press button (4) again and change the month using the memory button (3).
- Now press button (4) to change the day by using the memory button (3).
- Next press button (4) to change the hour by pressing the memory button (3).
- Now press button (4) to change the minutes by pressing the memory button (3).
- Next press button (4) to change the unit of pressure (15) by pressing the memory button (3).
After the unit is set, the LCD will display "donE" first, then display all the settings you have done and finally it will turn off.
To change from memory 1 ( to 2 ( , with the machine off press
the SET button (4) until one of the two memories appears (14), once selected press the Start/ Stop button (2) again and it will switch off.
USE:
- Unroll the cuff and flexible tube completely.
- Connect the flexible tube to the flexible tube connector.
- Insert the end of the cuff through the metal hasp leaving the Velcro facing outward.
- Uncover the left arm and insert the arm inside the cuff so that the outlet for the flexible tube is aligned with the centre of the arm, using the middle finger as a reference (Fig. 2).
- Place your arm on the table with your palm facing upward.
- Fit the cuff to the top of the arm, leaving a distance of approximately 2 - 3cm between the cuff and the elbow.
- Smooth out the cuff to ensure there is no air between the arm and the band, and adjust it using the Velcro fastener. Do not over tighten. Approximate one finger should be able to fit underneath the cuff after tightening.
- Measurements must always be taken on a bare arm or in rolled sleeves but without exerting any pressure on the arm.

- Take the measurement on the same arm. Take the measurement on the left arm, only using the right arm when it is not possible to use the left.
- When taking the measurement seated, relax your arm on a table and keep the cuff at heart level with palm facing up (Fig. 3), above or below heart level will affect the accuracy of the reading. Do not speak or move your body or arm while taking the measurement.
- When taking the measurement lying down, lie on your back for at least 5 minutes and relax your arm. Keep the cuff at heart level (Fig. 4), above or below heart level will affect the accuracy of the reading. Do not speak or move your body or arm while taking the measurement.
HOW TO MEASURE THE PRESSURE:
- Turn the appliance on using the on/off switch. The LCD screen will come on, displaying all of the symbols, wait until the 0 appears.
- Now the corresponding memory number 1 (♂) or 2 (♀) will appear.
To change from memory 1 ( to 2, with the machine off press the SET button (4) until one of the two memories appears (14), once selected press the On/ Off
button (2) and it will switch off. Press the On/ Off button again and the screen will display an "0". The cuff will now inflate automatically.
- Keep still, without talking and with the appliance at the height of your heart until the measuring has finished.
- When the device detects a pulse, the heart symbol “ (22) will flash.
- When the measurement has been taken the cuff will deflate automatically and the LCD screen will display the values for systolic and diastolic pressure and the heart rate. The blood pressure classification indicator (10), based on WHO parameters, will appear on the left of the screen (Fig. 5).
- If a problem occurs during the test, "E" will display on the screen.
If irregular pulse is detected, the heart symbol (18) will appear at the end of the measurement - 1 minute after performing the measurement, the appliance will switch off automatically.
MEMORY READING:
With the appliance off, press the memory button (3) and the

screen will display the average for the last 3 readings "RU6).
- When holding the memory button (3) the user can view the data from the most recent date to the oldest date. Each memory group can store a maximum of 60 readings.
ERASING THE MEMORIES:
To erase the memories, press and hold the memory button (3) and SET button (4) at the same time for 3 seconds while using the read function. The display will show "dEL ALL" message.
- Press "SET" to confirm deleting. The monitor will display "dEL+ donE" and then turn off.
- If you don't want to delete the records, press "START/STOP" to escape.
AUTO-DISCONNECTION FUNC TION (STAND-BY):
- For the purpose of saving energy, the appliance goes to self-disconnection mode 1 minute after process has finished, if the user has not performed any action with it during this period.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:

Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
-
Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not going to use it for some time.
- Clean the appliance.
PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Avoid eating, smoking and intensive activity in the 30 minutes before taking the measurement.
- Leave at least 1 minute between each reading to relax your blood flow in the arm.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
The following messages can appear on the screen:

In the event that it does not switch on after pressing the Start/Stop button or having changed the batteries, take the appliance to your Authorised Technical Support Centre.

CLEANING
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
It is advisable to clean the cuff after every 200 uses approximately.
