Before use, read these instructions carefully.

Use extreme caution when children are near the appliance. Do not leave the appliance running unattended!

Do not use the device for other purposes than originally intended.

Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquids. Always remove the plug from the wall socket when not in use or before cleaning it.

Do not use damaged equipment, even if a cord or plug are damaged – in this case, have the device repaired by an authorized service centre. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufac

turer may cause damage or injury.

In the event of unusual sounds, smells or smoke coming out of the device, switch it off immediately and contact an authorized service centre for repair. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands. Do not hang the power cord over sharp edges and do not let it come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not touch hot surfaces! Use the handles. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

We recommend that you do not move the fryer when it contains hot oil or other hot liquid, and apply special security measures. Use only as directed. The device is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use it continuously for a long period of time to prevent deformation of the base and cover.

If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the man- ufacturer or the service, or another suitably qualified person to avoid any risk. The surface temperature may rise during use.

The appliance must be connected to an outlet with earthing pin! This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,29

The lid eliminates fat splaer and reduces escape of odour. Handle is also used as an external element, lowering prepared food into fat with the lid closed. Removable container with a non- sck cooking surface makes it easy for cleaning.

DEEP FRYER PREPARATION FOR USE

1. Wipe the lid and the base of the deep fryer with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base of the deep

fryer in water. Never wash items of deep fryer lid or base in a dishwasher.

2. Open the lid of the deep fryer by pressing the release buon on the front of the appliance. Li

5. Remove the carbon lter and all the packaging from the basket, wash basket and container in warm

soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.

6. Place the container back into the deep fryer, make sure that the handles are located on the le and

right sides of the deep fryer, and the hole is in the front edge (D).

7. Close the lid of the deep fryer. Remove the lter from the cover, pushing the release latch on the

viewing window (A) and liing it unfold carbon lter and slide it into place.

Use a deep fryer only on the dry ground, stable, resistant to high temperature, away from any edges. ● Do not use in cabinets. Steam escaping through vents can damage them. ● Do not use without container.

Do not use without fat or with insucient fat. Never exceed the maximum oil level! Minimum (MIN) and maximum (MAX) levels are marked inside the container. ● Use only a good, reliable, vegetable fat or oil for deep frying. Even a small amount of water will splaer! ● Use special care when frying torllas. Flour torllas contain air bubbles. During deep-frying fat gets inside of them. If torllas are not properly drained, air bubbles may break, causing burns. Therefore, aer frying they should be carefully pulled out of the fat and le for 30 seconds to allow dripping of fat. ● Always remove the power cord from the wall socket aer use. ● Always wait for the deep fryer to cool completely before pouring fat and cleaning! ● Deep fryers must be cleaned aer each use!

2. Remove the basket from the container and set it aside;

3. Fill the tank with fat or oil but do not exceed the maximum level (MAX), which is marked inside the

container (E). The amount of fat in the container must always be between the MIN and MAX level. Never exceed the MAX level! FOR PREHEATING:

1. Close the lid and connect the device to a power outlet – the power light will turn on (7). Set the

controller to the desired temperature – the temperature light will turn on (8). The recommended seng is in most cases ~ 190°C;

2. Upon reaching the desired temperature, the light (8) will go out. Preheat me is about 20 minutes.

3. During fat heang, prepare ingredients for frying.

CAUTION! To avoid the risk of serious personal injury or damage to objects, use special security measures during frying in hot oil. FRYING:

1. Fill the 2/3 of basket with food when the basket is in the top posion.

2. When the temperature light (8) goes out, press the lid release buon to open it.

CAUTION! The appliance has a special cool-touch outside body – inside of the deep fryer is very hot and you should not touch it!

3. Slowly li the lid, taking care not to touch hot surfaces. Then put the lled basket into the container

so that the handle was placed in a hole in the front edge of the device;

4. Push and close the lid.

5. Release the locking buon and lower the handle. The basket will be automacally lowered into fat.

6. Start the countdown. It is normal that for the rst few minutes you will see steam in the viewing

window. It will gradually disappear during cooking, if the viewing window is clear.32

CAUTION! It is normal for steam to escape during frying through the vents. To avoid steam burns do not put your hands or face close to the vents.

7. When the frying me ends, raise the boom of the basket handle unl it locks the handle in a

horizontal posion – this acon will automacally li basket for draining posion.

8. Press the release buon to open the lid. Allow the steam to got out and then carefully li the lid

to the upright posion, taking care not to touch hot surfaces. Check if the food is well fried. If the food requires further frying, close the lid and lower the basket into fat following the procedures described in point 4.

9. Aer frying food pull the basket out of the fryer and put the food on a plate. Season to taste. The

lock release buon on the handle of the basket is used to lower it into the hot oil. CAUTION! Do not release this buon when removing basket from the deep fryer!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall outlet and allow the deep fryer to cool completely,

without opening the lid.

2. Aer cooling, using both brackets on the container, remove it from the deep fryer.

3. If you plan to reuse the fat, it is recommended to pour it through a sieve to remove any remains

of prepared food. Then ghtly close the box with fat and keep it away from heat and direct light.

4. Clean the container and the basket with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Do not use wire cloth or abrasive cleaners to clean the container or the base. The basket can be washed in the dishwasher.

5. Never immerse the fryer base in water or other liquid, nor wash in the dishwasher. Wipe with a

USEFUL TIPS ● Using the deep fryer for the rst me, you can meet with a slight odour or a mild smoke. This is normal.

You should fry products of equal size or thickness, as this will allow more even frying at the same me.

Do not ll the basket in more than two thirds. If you fry more components, they will not be brile. ● Fish, vegetables and meat shall be coated in breadcrumbs before frying. ● Use only metal cutlery, as plasc or rubber will break down in hot oil! Do not leave cutlery in the deep fryer! ● Aer each use, lter oil using a double-thick cheesecloth to remove food residues. ● Mulple use of the same fat depends on the type of fried products – fat needs to be replaced more oen if there is oen fried coated sh or meat.

The fat should be replaced immediately if you noce any of the following phenomena: the fat is dark, the fat evaporates when heated, the fat sizzles excessively during frying.
