USER MANUAL Ready2Shop RED CASTLE
The READY2SHOP stroller meets the EN 1888 : 2012 safety standard and conforms to the security requirements. It has been laboratory tested according to the decree 91-1992 (December 1991). IMPORTANT: READ these instructions CAREFULLY BEFORE using your stroller.
WARNING: Never leave your child unsupervised.
WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
WARNING: To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away from when unfolding and
folding the stroller.
WARNING: Do not let your child play with this product.
WARNING: Always use the restraint system.
WARNING: Every time, check that the seat unit, the carrycot or car seat attachment devices
are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or roller skating.
- Your child’s safety is your responsibility.
- When using your stroller, under any circumstances, ensure your child is attached with the 5-point safety harness correctly adjusted to t him. Always use the crotch strap with the safety harness, even when using a footmu in the stroller.
- Any load attached to the handle aects the stability of the pushchair.
- Always use the rear foot brake to immobilise your stroller.
- Ensure that the rear foot brake is applied when you place the child in or take him out of the stroller.
- Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
- This vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a suitable pram body, cot or bed.

- This stroller is intended to transport a child from birth up to a maximum weight of 15 kgs, as well as an additional weight of 7 kgs in the basket below the stroller.
- We recommend that you use the lying down position when your child is less than 6 months old.
- From birth, you can use the stroller in combination with the RED CASTLE / RECARO car seat up to 13 kgs OR with the RC 2 Car Seat up to 9 kgs OR with the PEBBLE brand car seat up to 13 kgs OR with the RED CASTLE carrycot up to 9 kgs. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions for use The READY2SHOP stroller is sold with a seat, a seat pad, a hood, a bumper bar, a raincover and a removable basket. Available on option: a kit for the comfort of newborns.
1. UNFOLDING THE STROLLER
- Open the blocking hook (1) on the side and raise the handlebar until the stroller is completely unfolded (2 and 3).
WARNING: Make sure the chassis is rmly
locked in place (click heard).
It blocks the rear wheels. - To block the wheels press your foot on the brake bar (4a). - To unblock, raise the brake bar with your foot (4b).
WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave
your child alone and unattended, even if the brake is applied.
WARNING: Check that the wheels are
- The seat can be positioned to be front or rear facing. Refer to the table for the congurations possible (table page 5). - To position the seat in place, line up the sides of the seat with the sockets on the chassis and set the seat in place (5 and 6).
WARNING: Make sure that the seats are
rmly engaged (click heard). - To remove the seat, raise it up by pressing on buttons either side of the chassis (7 and 8).
INSTALLING THE SEAT PAD
- Undo the harness buckles, then slip the buckles through the slits in the seat pad at the required height (9). Fasten the harness.
- Correct product assembly is essential. Neither RED CASTLE FRANCE nor their distributors can be held responsible should this not be the case. Please note that incorrect use could damage the stroller and be dangerous for your child.
- Never transport more than one child in the READY2SHOP stroller
- Do not use replacement parts or accessories other than those recommended by RED CASTLE FRANCE.
- Only replacement parts provided by or recommended by RED CASTLE FRANCE shoud be used.
- To avoid the risk of suocation, keep all plastic bags away from and out of the reach of children.
- Always attach your child with the 5 point safety harness correctly adjusted to t him whenever you use the stroller.
- The child should always be kept clear of detachable parts when adjustments are made and when opening and closing the stroller.
- When the stroller is folded and upright, keep the child clear to avoid his being injured should the stroller fall.
- Should the stroller be used by someone unfamiliar with it, always show them the correct way to use it.
- To avoid the risk of strangulation, NEVER attach strings, ribbons or cords onto the stroller or onto your child.
- The stroller should always open and close without diculty. If it doesn’t, do not force the mechanisms and refer to the Instruction manual.
- Ensure that all safety mechanisms are engaged before use and that they are used correctly.
- Never lift up the stroller by the seat, the carrycot or the car seat but by the chassis only.
- Overloading, incorrect folding and the use of accessories non-approved by the manufacturer may seriously damage or break the stroller (in particular the use of buggy boards).
- Do not add an extra mattress when using the carrycot.
- Never place any item on the stroller hood.
- Never place a load on the foot-rest.
- Never allow children to stand on the foot-rest.
- Do not use the raincover indoors, during warm weather, when it is sunny or near a source of heat. Your child may become too hot.
- ALWAYS TAKE YOUR CHILD OUT of the stroller when going up or down stairs, or when using an escalator.
- Step over obstacles (pavements etc…) with care. Bumping it up and down repeatedly may damage your stroller.28

REMOVABLE BUMPER BAR
- Fit the bumper bar on the side supports designed for them until click heard (10). - To remove it, press on the knobs at either sides and pull towards you (11). Bumper bar cover: - Surround the bumper bar with the cover, close the zip (12). WHEELS - Enclench the wheels in place, check that they are well secured (click heard) (13). - To remove them, pull the safety latches outwards (14). SAFETY HARNESS The READY2SHOP stroller has a 5 point harness. - Place your child in the stroller and attach the waist and shoulder straps to the crotch strap (click heard) (15). - To undo the harness (16). - To adjust the harness to t your child, slide the harness adjusters A, B and C to lengthen or shorten the straps (17). - The harness shoulder straps are height adjustable. To change the height, remove the shoulder guards on the straps, open the cover at the back of the seat and place the straps at the required height by slotting them through the board at equal height (18). To do this, tilt the buckle.
WARNING: ALWAYS use the crotch strap
in combination with the waist belt when attaching the harness.
WARNING: Use a harness as soon as the
child can sit up alone unaided.
HANDLEBAR It is height adjustable. - Press simultaneously on the light grey buttons at the side (19) to raise or lower it.

- This stroller should be regularly checked by the person using it. - Clean the plastic and metal parts of your stroller with a damp cloth and dry them immediately. Use only mild cleaning products. - The textile parts should be wiped clean with a damp cloth (do not machine wash). Use only a mild detergent. DO NOT USE BLEACH. Dry in the shade. - Regularly check screws, rivets and bolts. Replace any parts which may have become worn. - Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may prematurely discolour the stroller fabric. PLEASE NOTE! It is not recommended to use your stroller in sea water or over sand. PLEASE NOTE! Always rinse parts in contact with salt and sand, in particular the wheels, the springs and the rivets (including after rolling on snowy/salted pavements).
WARNING: Only use parts recommended
by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Never use the stroller if it is
You nd it hard to fold your stroller: - After cleaning the catches (32), (seen on the inside of the aluminium chassis when folding) apply some drops of silicone or liquid spray (available in DIY shops) as shown. SEATBACK - Pull on the knob at the rear of the seat until the preferred position (20). It has 3 seat positions: - Sitting position (buckle open). - Reclining position (buckle open). - Lying down position (position recommended when your child is less than 6 months old) (buckle closed). FOOTREST It is height adjustable (3 positions). - Press simultaneously on the two side buttons (21) to reposition it at the required height.
FRONT WHEELS SWIVEL OR FIXED
- To block them, set the front wheels in line and pull the blocking levers towards you then downwards (22). - To release them, do the opposite.
WARNING: This stroller is not suitable for
greater manoeuvrability. Over rough ground (sand, snow, stones, mud…), it is strongly recommended that the front wheels be used in the xed position. HOOD The hood is easily attached: - Fold back the rear of the hood (23) to allow access to the seatback recline adjustment handle, then enclench the ends of the hood on the chassis in the places provided at either side of the seat (24). - Attach the velcro as shown at either side of the chassis (25). - To remove the hood, undo the velcro, pull the ends of the hood towards you - Hood up: push the hood back. - Hood down : pull the hood forwards. - The hood includes a window. BASKET The removable basket has a large capacity (7kgs). - The basket includes 4 rods to insert into the slots located inside each angle (26). - To set it in place, lower the carrying handle, slide the basket onto the runner until click heard (27a). - To remove it, pull on the latch on the right runner, then slide it towards you (27b). - The basket has two positions: one below the stroller, the other slightly outwards, towards the rear making access to it easier.
WARNING: The maximum load in the
basket should not exceed 7kgs.
WARNING: Only use compartments
provided for storage and do not go over and above the recommended weight.
WARNING: Empty the basket completely
BEFORE folding the stroller. RAINCOVER - Unfold the raincover, set it on the hood and adjust it in place (28).
5. FOLDING YOUR STROLLER
- Remove the seat or accessories attached on the stroller. - Raise the handlebar to the upper position. - Press down on the security latch (on the right side) with your thumb and squeeze and hold the levers on either side of the handlebar (29). - Push down on the handlebar, release the triggers, close the locking hook (30 and 31). - The locking hook has 2 positions in order for the stroller to be folded very compactly.
WARNING: Always remove the seat, the
car seat or the carrycot BEFORE folding.
WARNING: Empty the basket completely
BEFORE folding the basket. PLEASE NOTE! NEVER LIFT UP the stroller by the seat or the car seat or the carrycot but BY
