• Car seat suitable for children between 40 and 105~cm in height, with a maximum weight of 18~kg . This car seat is an "i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System." It is UN Regulation No. 129 approved, suitable for vehicle seats described as i-Size compatible in the owner manual (provided by the vehicle manufacturer).
• With full harness, this car seat is used rear-facing for children between 40 and 105cm in height.
• With full harness, this car seat is used forward-facing for children between 76 and 105~cm in height.
• IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE FORWARD FACING IF THE CHILD IS LESS THAN 15 MONTHS OLD (please read the car seat's instructions manual).
• When used in rear-facing position, do not fit this car seat onto passenger seats which have active airbags. Deactivate the airbag before fitting the car seat. Using this car seat on seats with active airbags may cause serious injury or death in the event of an accident.
• Booster suitable for children between 100 and 150cm in height, with a maximum weight of 36kg . This car seat is an "i-Size booster seat Enhanced Child Restraint System". It is UN Regulation No. 129 approved for use mainly on vehicle seats described as i-Size compatible in the owner manual (provided by the vehicle manufacturer).
• Using the vehicle's seat belts, this car seat is used forward-facing for children between 100 and 150cm in height.
• If in doubt, contact the restraint system manufacturer or retailer. For more information, please contact the PegPerego Assistance Department by writing to: [e-mail].
• The car seat can be fitted onto vehicles with ISOFIX-rated positions (for more details, please refer to the user

manual), depending on the child seat category and structure.

WARNING

• Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Failure to thoroughly follow the instructions for the installation of the car seat could put your child at serious risk.
• The assembly and installation operations must be carried out by adults.
• Always use a car seat when in the car. Never remove the child from the car seat when the vehicle is in motion.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car, not even for short periods. The temperature inside the vehicle may change very rapidly and become dangerous for the child inside.
• Install this car seat only on seats facing the normal direction of travel. If the vehicle has rotating or repositionable seats, position the seat so it faces the direction of travel.
• Check that the child car seat is not blocked by a moving part of the seat or a door.
• Scrupulously follow installation instructions; do not use installation methods other than those recommended because they could cause the car seat to detach.
• Always use the safety harness or the vehicle seat belt when using this car seat.
• Adjust the height and tension of the harness ensuring that it is close-fitting to the child's body without constricting him/her too much. Check that the harness is not twisted and that the child cannot release it.
  The car seat is not a substitute for a cot; if the child needs to sleep, it is important to lie him/her down.
• Do not use the car seat if it is visibly damaged or there are missing parts, or if it has been subjected to heavy impacts in an accident, because it might have suffered extremely dangerous structural damage that is not visible.
• Do not use the car seat without its fabric cover; this

must not be replaced with one not approved by the manufacturer since it is an integral part of the car seat and the safety system.

• Do not remove or replace the polystyrene white part under the seat and in the headrest, as it is essential for safety purposes.
• Do not leave the car seat in the car if exposed to direct sunlight, because some parts could overheat and cause injuries to the delicate skin of your child. Verify that the seat is not too hot before seating your child.
• Do not alter the product.
• Do not remove the adhesive and stitched labels since this might make the product not compliant with legal requirements.
• For any repairs, replacement parts and information about the product, contact the after-sales assistance service. Contact information is provided on the last page of this manual.
• Do not use accessories that have not been approved by the manufacturer or by the competent authorities.
• If your product is second-hand, check it is a recently built model, it comes with instructions and that all parts are working correctly. An obsolete product may not be compliant as a result of the normal aging of materials and new laws coming into force. If in doubt, contact the manufacturer's support centre.
• Make sure there are no loose or unsecured luggage items or other objects in the vehicle. They could injure the vehicle's occupants in the event of an accident.

Inspect the content of the package and contact Customer Care if any items are missing. The child car seat includes:

How to install the car seat

1 Check the location of Isofix connectors and Isofix or I-Size logos on the seats in your vehicle.
2 Install this car seat only on seats facing the normal direction of travel. If the vehicle has rotating or repositionable seats, position the seat so it faces the direction of travel.
3 Rotate the support foot (1) and extract the attachment body until it clicks (2). The position indicator turns green.
4 Extend the base's Isofix connectors: press the security levers (1) and buttons (2), pulling the connectors outwards, all the way (3). The connectors are blocked and ready for connection.
5 Place the car seat on the vehicle seat, attach it to the isofix connectors and push until possible.
IMPORTANT: the two indicators on the side of the base will turn from red to green to show that it has been connected correctly.

IMPORTANT: after completing the operation, try moving the base to verify that both Isofix connectors have been connected correctly.

6 Adjust the height of the support foot by pressing the button behind the leg, until it touches the car floor.

IMPORTANT: make sure that the leg is in a vertical position and the foot is resting on the vehicle floor, even if the base is slight raised from the seat.

IMPORTANT: if there is a storage compartment in the floor of your vehicle in the area where the support foot is resting, open the compartment lid and rest the foot on the base of the compartment.

Functions of the car seat

7 The car seat has a swivel seat: to rotate the seat, press the button as shown in the figure (1) and, at the same time, rotate the seat (2).

IMPORTANT: use rear-facing for children between 40 and 105~cm in height. The position indicator is green.

8 When the child is between 76 and 105cm in height, the seat can be used in forward facing position. The position indicator is green.

IMPORTANT: do not use in this position if the child is less than 15 months old.

9 To place the child in the seat more easily, press the button and rotate the seat by 90^ ; the indicator near the button will turn red.

IMPORTANT: do not use the car seat in this position when the car is moving.

10 To adjust the car seat's reclining angle, press the handle under the cat seat. The seat can be adjusted in 5 positions (both forward and rear facing).

11 The headrest must be adjusted to match the child's height as the child grows. There are several positions. To switch from a low to a higher position: pull the lever in the upper central part of the head rest (1) upwards and, at the same time, lift the headrest (2).

To switch from a high position to a lower one: pull the

lever in the upper central part of the headrest upwards and, at the same time, push the headrest down to the desired position. When you have finished, move the headrest slightly to check it is properly locked into place.

How to fasten your child in the car seat

12 The car seat has a 5-point harness to protect your child. Before putting your child in the seat: press the central release button (1) and loosen the harness by pulling the waist straps (2). Do not pull the shoulder straps.
13 Fasten the buckles on the side elastics (1) and pull the crotch strap towards the front of the seat (2), to make room for your child. Check the seat area is free.
14 Place the child in the car seat and arrange the harness over the child's shoulders and waist (1). For children seated rear-facing, the correct height of the harness is when the strap is at or above shoulder height (green area) (2).
15 For children seated forward-facing, the correct height of the harness is when the strap is at or below shoulder height (green area).
16 Lock the harness by overlapping the buckle tongues (1) and inserting them into the buckle of the crotch strap until they click into place (2).
17 Tighten the harness by pulling the central adjustment strap towards you, ensuring the harness is resting firmly against the child's body. CAUTION: do not over-tighten the straps, and ensure ye leave a little slack.
18 When you have completed the fastening operation, check the tension in each part of the harness is correct (1-2-3-4-5). Check the shoulder pads are resting firmly on your child's body.
19 To loosen the harness, insert a finger through the seat opening (1), keep the metal button pressed, and with the other hand pull on the waist straps (2). Do not pull the shoulder straps.
20 Important! In winter, do not strap the child into the car

seat wearing bulky clothing and do not place blankets between the child's body and the harness. This could cause the incorrect positioning of the safety harness, with serious consequences in the event of a collision. Place a blanket on top of your child to protect them from the weather.

21 This car seat features the Dual Stage Cushion, a system composed of 2 separate cushions for even the smallest babies.

1: headrest reducer;

2: reducer cushion for the seat.

Use the Dual Stage Cushion for children between 40 and 75 cm in height.

How to install the car seat

22 Push the support foot back into the case (1), push the body into the base (2) and fold the support foot under the base (3). If the car seat has already been installed in the vehicle, the car seat must be disconnected from the vehicle seat for this operation.
23 Place the car seat on the vehicle seat (1).

Alternatively, fix the car seat using the isofix connectors as explained above. Using the isofix connectors increases the car seat's stability while travelling (2).

WARNING: the car seat should always be attached with isofix connectors, even when not in use. If not secured, it could move and cause injury in the event of an accident.

How to conceal the full harness

24 Children who are between 100 and 150~cm in height do not need to use the car seat's safety harness, which must be placed in the car seat itself. Lower the headrest until it is at the same level of the body (1) and pull the safety harness (2).
25 Open the door at the back of the car seat body and find

the small metal hook that links the harness shoulder straps.

26 Release the hook of the shoulder straps and the buckle of the safety harness.
27 Remove the shoulder strap padding (1), the Dual Stage Cushion (2) and the car seat's crotch padding (it has Velcro - 3).
28 Unfasten the buttons from the top part of the padded seat (1), slip the strap through the opening and access the central compartment on the bottom of the seat. Place the harness in the compartment and close it.
29 When you have finished, the car seat will look like the one in the picture.

How to secure your child

30 Secure your child with the car safety belt as shown in the figure. Fasten the seat belt, ensuring that it clicks into place. Position the two sections of the belt as shown in the figure.
31 To finish, slide the belt through the belt router on the head rest: insert the belt between the belt router and head rest (1) until it slides easily in the strap slot (2). IMPORTANT: if the belt is loose, tighten it through the belt router (3). Make sure the belt is always taut and not twisted.
32. importantly: the safety belts are correctly positioned if the child's shoulders are slightly below the point the safety belts pass through the seat, as shown in the figure.

33 Inside the back compartment, you can find the approval label and the label with the following information: product name, production date and serial number. This information is essential in the event of a claim.
