Do not use the product in an explosive environment containing flammable liquids, gases, or vapours. Before starting the product for the first time, make sure that the product, its accessories, and the power cord have not been damaged. If any damage is discovered, it is not allowed to start working with the product. It is not allowed to have the power cord repaired. It must be changed for a new one. Any damaged components, including the power cord, must be replaced at an authorized facility. It is not allowed to repair the product on your own. The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not expose the product to any precipitation or moisture. If water and moisture enters the product, the risk of an electric shock is significantly increased. Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid. Connect the product to the power network providing the voltages and frequencies indicated on the nameplate of the unit, exclusively. The plug of the power cord must match the power socket. Do not modify the plug. Do not use any power adapters to adapt the plug to the socket. An unmodified plug, which matches the socket, reduces the risk of an electric shock. After each application, unplug the power cord from the power socket. Always disconnect the product from the power supply, if it is left unattended, and before putting it away, disassembling, or cleaning. Keep the power cord away from the attachments of the product. This will reduce the risk of pulling in, cutting, or otherwise damaging the power cord. Do not overload the power cord. Do not use the power cord to carry, connect, or disconnect the plug from the power socket. Avoid any contact between the power cord and heat sources, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts. Damage to the power cord increases the risk of an electric shock. If the power cord is damaged (e.g. it is cut, its insulation is melted), immediately unplug it from the wall socket, and return it to an authorized service facility. It is not allowed to use the product with a damaged power cord. It is not allowed to have the power cord repaired. It must be changed for a new one at an authorized service centre. Disconnect the power cord from the power socket, before installing, removing, or adjusting any of the product accessories. Exercise special care, when handling sharp parts of the product. Do not touch blades in motion. The blades are very
EN
sharp and there is a risk of injury, even if the blades are not moving. Special care must be taken, when handling any accessories equipped with blades. Make sure that the selected accessory has been installed correctly, before starting the product. Do not place the containers supplied with the product on hot surfaces. This can lead to melting of the containers. Do not overload the product. The temperature of the housing must not exceed 60^ C. Overloading the product will accelerate its wear and tear, lead to its damaging, and increase the risk of an electric shock. Do not use the product to prepare hot food. When preparing food, it may splash around. Splashing of hot food can lead to burns. The product is not to be used by children. Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children. It is important to ensure that children do not see the product as a toy. Children should not be allowed to clean or maintain the product without the supervision of an adult. This product cannot be used by people with impaired physical and/or mental abilities, and by people without any experience in or understanding of the operation of the product, unless they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the product, so that they understand the relevant operating risks.
USING THE PRODUCT
Preparing the product for operation
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed. It is recommended to keep the packaging, as it can be helpful in further transporting and storing of the product.
Check the product for damage. In the event of any damage being found, do not use the product, before the damage has been remedied or the damaged components changed for new components, free of defects.
Clean the product, according to the instructions specified in the "Product Maintenance" section.
Caution! Make sure that the power cord is unplugged from the wall socket, before attempting to install or remove any attachment. Install the selected attachment, according to its intended use. Place the attachment housing onto the mounting of the drive housing, so that the mounting edge of the attachment fits tight along its entire circumference, and then rotate it all the way (II). Make sure that the attachment is not disconnected on its own, during operation. If an attachment cannot be detached by pulling it away from the drive housing, and its edge fits tight along its entire circumference to the drive housing, then it has been installed correctly. If this is not the case, repeat all installation steps.
If a cutting attachment is used, it may only be used together with the supplied container. Place the container on a flat, level, and hard surface. Then, remove the holder for attachments, before use, and ensure that the container lid is tightly closed.
The lid of the container for the cutting attachment should be mounted in the same way, as the attachment for the drive housing. The transparent wall of the container makes it easier to match the projections on the wall with the guides on the lid. The edge of a correctly installed lid rests along its entire circumference on the edge of the container wall (III).
The lid of the blender container should be mounted in such a way that its edge rests on the edge of the container wall along its entire circumference. The indicator on the lock of the lid should display the symbol of an open padlock on the lid (IV). Next, press and hold the raised lock of the lid, and then rotate the lid, until the indicator is in line with the symbol of the locked padlock. Then, release the lock and lower it, to prevent the lid from opening accidentally.
The mixing attachment is used for shredding vegetables and fruits, preparing sauces, mixing of liquids, e.g. soups, creams, etc. The cutting attachment is used for chopping, mincing meat, and making pastes from hard food products.
The whipping unit is used to prepare egg foam, whip cream, mix thin doughs, e.g. pancakes, or whisk eggs.
The blender container may only be used with a plate, or alternatively with the cutting attachment. During operation, food may only be introduced via the opening in the lid of the container. To cram it, use the pusher provided. Using other objects or hands for this purpose may result in damaging the product or serious injury.
If the product is supplied with a container with a graduated scale, it can be used as a dish to prepare dishes. Commercially available containers can also be used for this purpose. The cutting attachment may only be used together with the supplied container with a lid.
The connection between the lid and the container is not air-tight. It is possible that contents of the container may start escaping through the gap between the lid and the container. In that case, reduce the amount of food in the container.
The cutting attachment for the bottle has a gasket, which ensures that the lid is tightly connected to the bottle. The attachment is attached to the bottle by screwing it on. Use sufficient force, when screwing on the bottle, to make sure that the bottle with its attachment facing downwards shows no signs of leakage. You can mount the entire unit onto the drive housing, only after making sure that the connection between the lid and the bottle is tight enough. Use the attachment in such a way that the bottom of the bottle is facing up. Remove the whole unit from the drive housing and then replace the cutting attachment with the supplied lid,
EN
immediately after preparing food inside the bottle. This way, you can take the prepared food with you, without having to use other dishes.
None of the attachments is designed for shredding ice cubes.
Using the Product
Install the selected attachment.
Plug the power cord into the power socket, but do not touch the switch.
If a mixing or whipping attachment is fitted, insert the end of the attachment into the container with food, and start the unit by pressing and holding down the switch. The product has two switches: the upper one that enables working at the speed set by the controller, and the lower one that enables working at the maximum speed.
The period of time during which the product is used must not exceed 1 minute. Then, the drive must be allowed to cool down for at least 4 minutes.
The product is switched off by releasing the switch. Wait until the moving parts of the attachments have stopped rotating, and then pull the power cord out of the socket, and remove the attachment from the container with food and/or remove the attachment.
If attachments with blades are used, it is advisable to use a lower rotational speed at the beginning of the operation, and then increase it gradually during operation, until satisfactory results are obtained.
If lower speed is used for all attachments, it will reduce the splashing of liquid food and loose products.
Product maintenance
CAUTION! Before cleaning, switch the product off, unplug the power cord from the wall socket, wait for the unit to cool down, and then proceed with maintenance.
CAUTION! It is recommended to clean the mixer attachments immediately after all dishes have been prepared. This will prevent food residues from drying up and make cleaning the product easier.
If the drive housing is contaminated with processed food during operation, stop your work, clean the product, and only then resume operation.
Use only mild kitchen cleaning agents to clean the product. It is not allowed to use abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. cleaning powder or milk, or agents containing corrosive substances. Do not use any solvents, petrol, or alcohol to clean the product.
Dilute the cleaning agent with water, according to the instructions supplied with the agent. Then, apply it on a soft cloth and clean the drive housing on the outside.
Remove any residues of the cleaning agent with a soft cloth slightly soaked in clean water. Then, dry all surfaces with a dry soft cloth.
CAUTION! The drive housing is not designed for water jet cleaning. Do not immerse the drive housing in water.
You can clean containers with a graduated scale and the working end of the whipping attachment with a water jet or by immersing in water, if it has been disconnected from the power adapter that facilitates connecting the drive. Other parts of the product should only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
The blade and the blade cover of the mixing attachments can be cleaned with a jet of water, if the attachment has been disconnected from the drive. Take care to prevent the power adapter that facilitates connecting the drive from getting wet.
All the components must be thoroughly dried, before reusing the product.
None of the product components is intended for cleaning in a dishwasher or by high-pressure jet cleaning.
CAUTION! If you are preparing different dishes one after another, using the same attachment, you can dispose of food residues, by immersing the attachment in a container with clean, lukewarm water, and activating it for a short period of time.
Avoid contact with the human body, when cleaning the blades. Wash with brushes or sponges.
Transport and storage
Before commencing storage or transport of the product, clean it thoroughly from food residues.
If stored, keep the product indoors, and make sure it is not exposed to dust, dirt, or moisture. It is recommended to store the product in its original packaging.
