Instructions for use

IMPORTANT: READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET CAREFULLY BEFORE USE IN ORDER TO AVOID RISKS WHEN USING THE PRODUCT AND STORE IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY IN ORDER NOT TO COMPROMISE YOUR CHILD'S SAFETY.

Remove and dispose of any plastic bags and all other elements of the product packaging before use, or keep these out of reach of children. These items should be disposed of in accordance with the separate waste collection regulations stipulated by the laws in force.

WARNINGS

• Before use, remove and dispose of all plastic bags and packaging materials and keep them out of reach of children. Please dispose of these items as sorted waste in accordance with applicable laws.
• Do not insert your fingers into the mechanisms.
• Every country has different safety laws and regulations for the transportation of children in cars, contacting the local authorities for more information is therefore advisable.
• Prevent anybody from using the product without reading the instructions. Store this manual for future reference.
• Make sure that all passengers in the vehicle know how to release the child from the child car seat in case of an emergency.
• If you need to carry out any adjustment on the child car seat or on your child when travelling, stop the vehicle in a safe place.
  • Periodically check that the child has not opened the safety buckle

on the child car seat and that he/she is not playing with any part pertaining to it.

• Verify that the abdominal portions of the harness restraining the child rest firmly over the pelvic region, so that they won't press on the abdomen in the event of an impact.
• Do not let children play with car seat components or parts.
• When the child car seat is not in use, it should be left secured to the car's seat, or stowed in the car's boot with the seat inclination adjuster handle completely inserted into the lower part of the child car seat. In fact, an unsecured car seat may pose a hazard to the passengers in the event of an accident or sudden braking.
• Any adjustments made to the car seat should only be carried out by an adult.
• The risk of serious injuries to your child increases, not only in the case of accidents, but also in other circumstances (sudden braking, etc.) if these instructions are not followed carefully.
• No car seat can guarantee your child's total safety in the event of an accident, but the use of this product reduces the risk of serious injuries or death when installed correctly.
• Always use the child car seat, fitted correctly, including for short journeys. Your child's safety will be compromised if you do not follow the above mentioned rule.
• In particular, make sure that the child car seat belts are tight enough, not twisted and in the correct position.
• Ensure that all the car passengers fasten their safety harnesses for their own safety and because, during the journey, they may injure the child in the event of an accident or sudden braking of the car.
• Do not install the child car seat on vehicle seats where the airbag is activated.
• Make sure that the vehicle seats (foldable, tiltable or rotating) are well secured.
• Check that the vehicle car seat headrest does not interfere with that of the child car seat: do not push it forwards. If this is the case, re-

move the headrest from the car seat on which the child car seat is fitted, without resting it on the luggage rack.

• After an accident, even if minor, the child car seat must be replaced because it may have suffered damages, although these damages may not be visible to the naked eye.
- Do not use second-hand child car seats: it may have suffered damage that is not visible to the naked eye but that may compromise the safety of the product.
- Do not use a car seat if it has been damaged, deformed or excessively worn out, or if any parts are missing, as the original safety features may have been compromised.
- Do not remove the labels or logos from the product.
- The seat fabric must only be replaced with another approved by the manufacturer as it forms an integral part of the child car seat.
- To ensure the safety of the child, never use the car seat without its fabric cover.
- The child car seat must be replaced should the harness be cut or frayed.
- This product must not be modified in any way unless the modification has been approved by the manufacturer. Do not install accessories, spare parts or components which are not supplied and approved by the manufacturer and intended for the child car seat.
- Do not use anything – pillows, blankets, etc. – to distance the child car seat from the vehicle seat or to distance the child from the child car seat: in case of accident, the child car seat may not work properly.
- Make sure that no objects are positioned between the child car seat and the vehicle seat or between the child car seat and the car door.
- Do not transport loose, unsecured objects or baggage on the back shelf of the vehicle: they may injure the passengers in the event of

an accident or sudden braking.

• Never leave your child unattended in the car, it can be dangerous!
• Do not carry more than one child at a time in the car seat.
• Avoid giving food to your child while travelling, especially lollies, ice lollies or other foods on sticks. they may injure your child in case of accident or sudden braking.
• Stop frequently during long trips: children tire easily whilst using the child car seat and need to move around. It is recommended that children get in and out of the child car seat from the curbside.
• If the vehicle has been left in the sun, check that the different parts of the child car seat are not too hot: otherwise, let them cool off before accommodating your child, in order to prevent burns.
• DO NOT use the product in built-in safety harness mode for more than 10 years. Usable for up to 12 years from the first use in the configuration with the vehicle's seat belt. After this period, alterations of the materials (e.g., due to exposure to sunlight) may reduce or compromise the product's effectiveness.
• According to accident statistics, a vehicle's rear seat is generally safer than the front seat: therefore, we suggest installing the car seat on the rear seat of the vehicle. In particular, the safer seat is the rear central one, if features a 3-point belt: in this case, we suggest positioning the Car seat on the rear central seat. If the Car seat is positioned on the front seat, for further safety, we suggest pushing the seat as far back as possible, depending on the presence of other passengers on the rear seat, and adjust the back in an upright position. If the car features a belt height regulator, secure this in the lowest position. Then, make sure that the belt regulator is positioned far back (or aligned) compared to the vehicle seat backrest. If the front seat is equipped with a front airbag, we suggest installing the Car seat on this seat. Always refer to your vehicle's instruction manual when installing the child car seat on any seat protected by an airbag.

Correct position in the vehicle

From 15 months of age, from 76 to 105 cm (i-Size ISOFIX Universal).

1. This is an advanced "i-Size" Child Restraint System. It is approved according to regulation No. 129/03 for use in vehicles on seats "compatible with i-Size systems", as indicated by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle's instruction manual. The Seat&Go i-Size can be installed on all i-Size type-approved car seats and in all ISOFIX type-approved car seats. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the vehicle manufacturer.

! Focus areas

a) Do not use the product until the child is 15 months old.
b) From 76 cm to 105 cm, it must be installed on seats equipped with the Isofix and Top Tether systems. The child must not weigh more than 21 kg.

From 100 cm to 150 cm (i-Size booster seat).

1. This is an advanced child restraint system classified as an "i-Size" booster. It is approved according to regulation No. 129/03 for use in vehicles on seats "compatible with i-Size systems", as indicated by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle's instruction manual. The Seat&Go i-Size can be installed on all i-Size type-approved car seats and on all UNIVERSAL type-approved car seats, provided that it does not interfere with the interior elements of the car. if in doubt, consult the manufacturer or the retailer of the child restraint system.

! Focus areas

DO NOT use the Top Tether system for children from 100 to 150 cm. a) If the vehicle is not fitted with an Isofix attachment system,

the Seat&Go i-Size (in the 100-150cm configuration) can be installed in the direction of travel with a 3-point car seat belt, approved according to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or equivalent. b) When using the vehicle's three-point belt, ensure that the lap section rests correctly over the child's pelvis.

Restrictions and requirements regarding the use of the product and vehicle seat

If it is used in a vehicle equipped with rear vehicle seat belt with integrated air bags (inflatable seat belts), the interplay between the inflatable portion of the seat belt and this child restraint system could cause serious injury or death.

76-105 cm: During installation with the Isofix system, the vehicle safety harness may not be fastened behind the child car seat, as this would engage the inflatable portion of the safety harness.

100-150 cm: When using the car seat in vehicles equipped with rear vehicle seat belt with integrated air bags (inflatable seat belts), follow the car manufacturer's instruction manual.

• The vehicle's seat must be equipped with a 3-point seat belt (static or retractable), type-approved in accordance with UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards. (Fig. 1)
• Never fit the child car seat in a vehicle that is only equipped with a 2-point harness. (Fig. 2)
• The child car seat can be fitted on the front passenger seat or any other back seat. Never use this child car seat on side-facing or rear-facing car seats. (Fig. 3)
  • Make sure that the buckle of the car's three-point belt is not too

far up. Otherwise, try to install the car seat on a different seat in the vehicle.

Fast-Fit System

The seat is equipped with the Fast-Fit system, which makes it easier for the child to get in and out of the seat in the use with the integrated harness system till 105 cm. The system is activated by simply pressing the buckle button (H) so that the harness (E) and shoulder straps (D) can be lifted and remain open while the child gets in the seat, keeping the harness tabs visible at all times.

To make the system work best, we suggest that the Velcro straps sewn to the upper elastic bands, located under the headrest, are attached at the lowest point of the shoulder straps (D). The user still has the option of managing the most suitable position of the elastic band.

! Focus areas

a) Always check that you fasten the seat belts (E) correctly during each use.

How to clean the fabric cover

The seat cover is fully removable and can be machine washed at 30^ C; the reducer cushion is machine washable at 30^ C. Please refer to the cleaning instructions on the fabric label which illustrates the following washing symbols:

Never use abrasive detergents or solvents. Do not dry the fabric cover within a dryer, let it dry without squeezing it.

The fabric cover must only be replaced with another cover approved by the manufacturer, since it is an integral part of the child car seat and, therefore, one of its safety elements.

WARNING! To ensure the safety of the child car seat, never use it without its fabric cover.

To remove the fabric cover follow the instructions below:

• Raise the headrest to its highest position.
• Remove the elastic bands from the hooks under the seat.
• Remove the elastic bands from the lap belt guides.
• Detach the buttons from the central flap at the base of the backrest from the cover.
• Open the Velcro straps where the Top Tether comes out at the back of the backrest.
• Remove the cover.
• Open the buttons by the car seat's seat belts.
• Remove the elastic bands located under the headrest.
• Remove the elastic band at the back of the headrest.
• Pull off the headrest, starting from the upper section.

How to clean the plastic and metal parts

Clean the plastic and coated metal parts with a damp cloth only. Never use abrasive detergents or solvents.

The moving parts of the child car seat must not be lubricated.

Checking the condition of the components

It is recommended to regularly check the condition of the following components to make sure they are not damaged or worn:

• Fabric cover: check that the padding does not come out from the seams. Check the condition of the seams: they must always be intact and undamaged.
• Harness straps: check that the fabric lining is not frayed and that the thickness of the harness strap is not worn out in the parts corresponding to the adjustment strap, crotch strap, shoulders and harness adjustment plate.
• Plastic parts: check that the plastic parts are not worn out, damaged or faded.

Storing the product

When it is not fitted in the car, it is recommended to store the child car seat in a dry place, away from sources of heat and to protect it from dust, humidity and direct sunlight.

Disposing of the product

When the child car seat no longer complies with the original safety standards, stop using it and dispose of it at an appropriate collection point. Always dispose of the child car seat following the guidance and regulations set out in the country of use.

Warranty

The product is guaranteed against any lack of conformity under normal use as specified in the instructions. The warranty shall not therefore apply in the case of damage caused by improper use, wear

or accidental events. For the duration of the warranty on conformity defects please refer to the specific provisions of applicable national laws in the country of purchase, where appropriate.
