IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS

When installing and using this electrical equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. WARNING – This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

2. WARNING – Children must not play with the appliance.

3. WARNING – Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

4. WARNING – When disassembling, cleaning, repairing, maintaining or making any other adjustments to the systems be sure to unplug it from the electrical outlet first.

5. WARNING – Always install the electric control panel away from humidity, rain and water projections. It must be installed in a technical room or at least 3.5 meters away from the swimming pool.

6. WARNING – Our products may only be assembled and installed in pools compliant with standards IEC/HD 60364-7-702 and required national rules. The installation should follow standard IEC/HD 60364-7-702 and required national rules for swimming pools.

1. The power supply to the appliance must be protected by a dedicated 30 mA residual current device, complying with the standards and regulations in force in the country in which it is installed.

2. WARNING – If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer and authorized representative or a qualified technician.

3. WARNING – To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use an extension cord to connect the unit to the electric supply; provide a properly located outlet.

4. WARNING – If the appliance suffers a malfunction, do not try to repair it yourself; instead contact a qualified technician.

5. Do not bury the cord. Locate cord to minimize abuse from lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other equipment.

6. Do not try to plug or unplug the device while standing in water or your hands are wet.

7. Ensure that the electrical parameters which are marked on the product are consistent with the local supply voltage before connecting the device.

8. Never enter the pool if the suction strainer subassembly is loose, broken, cracked, damaged or missing to reduce the risk of entrainment. Meanwhile, replace the loose, broken, cracked, damaged or missing suction strainer subassemblies immediately.

9. Never play or swim close to the suction device. Your body or hair may be trapped and lead to permanent injury or drowning.

10. To prevent the equipment damage and the risk of injury, make sure to turn the pump off before changing the position of the filter control valve.

11. Never operate the product while the working pressure is over the maximum value indicated on the filter tank.

12. Hazardous pressure in the filter tank. Due to an improper tank valve cover assembly, the valve cover may blow off and cause serious injury, property damage and even death due to improper assembly.

13. All filters and filter media should be checked regularly to ensure that there is no accumulation of debris, which hinders good filtration. The disposal of any used filter media should comply with applicable local regulations and laws.
14. Operate the system with water temperature between 4°C (39°F) and 35°C (95°F).
15. This product can only be used for the purposes described in the manual!

Dream Salt above-ground salt water chlorination is a process that uses dissolved salt for the chlorination of the swimming pools. The chlorine generator uses electrolysis in the presence of dissolved salt to produce chlorine gas or its dissolved forms of hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite, which are already commonly used as sanitizing in pools.

The Dream Salt is designed for residential above-ground swimming pools. The actual amount of chlorination required to properly disinfect the pool depends on the bather's load, rainfall, air temperature, water temperature, exposure of the pool to the sun, pool surface and cleanliness.

By familiarizing with the operation of the Dream Salt generator, you can achieve maximum performance for your pool. When chemical levels are in the recommended range, there are 4 factors that you can control: filter timer per day, the amount of salt in the pool, the chlorine output you set and the stabilizer level in the water. These will directly impact the amount of the chlorine generated.

It will take you days to adjust the chlorine output setting in order to find the ideal chlorine output. For the first time setting the model, you can start at a high setting and then adjust.

1. Function of the Indicator

• GENERATE: Work indicator. Model in normal operation, the LED light is steady on. The light will be switched off once the model stops working
• ERROR: Error indicator. When the light is on, an error code will be shown on the display panel. (EE01—Low water temperature; EE02—High water temperature; EE03—High salinity)
• POOL SIZE: Pool size indicator. The light switches on when setting the pool size
• ADD SALT: Salt indicator. The light switches on when the salinity is low
• TIMER: Timer indicator. The light switches on when setting the timer function
• LO SALT: Low salt indicator. The light switches on when the salinity is low
  ● HI SALT: High salt indicator. The light switches on when the salinity is high
  ● SALINITY: Salinity indicator. The light switches on when checking the salinity
• BOOST: Boost mode indicator. The light switches on when setting boost mode
  ● ON/OFF: Power indicator. The light switches on when the power is turned on

2. Function of the Key

● POWER: Power key. Press the key to turn on/off the power
• : Shortcut key of pool size setting
• : Shortcut key of checking salinity; shortcut key of boost mode
- MENU: Menu key. Press the key to switch the display interface
• Plus key. Press the key to add value or change the temperature unit
- (一) : Minus key. Press the key to deduct value or change the temperature unit
- TIMER: Timer key. Press the key to setting the working time

Functional Operation

1. Device ON/OFF

Press the "POWER" key, the ON/OFF indicator turns on/off. And the device is in the status of open/close. The display panel shows "OFF" when the device is closed.

2.Pool Size Setting

a) Initial Setting

First time turning on the power, after the device finishes self-checking, the display panel shows "PXX.X" and flashes, then set the pool size. Press "+" / "-" key to adjust the pool size, scale value with 0.1 m ^3 , and the unit of the value is in cubic meters.

Press the "MENU" key to save the setting.

If the pool size is not set after the device finishes self-checking the system will automatically use the default value to set the pool size. The default value depends on the salt cell type.

Default value of pool size:

• Dream Salt 25 (EL05) -- 10m^3
  ● Dream Salt 50 (EL10) -- 20 m³

b) Normal Setting

Press the shortcut key 🔒, the pool size indicator is on and the display panel shows the value of pool size. If there is no need to set the pool size, press the shortcut key 🔒 again to exit; or press the "MENU" key to set the pool size, the display panel shows "PXX.X" and flashes, then set the pool size. Press "+" / "-" key to adjust the pool size, scale value with 0.1 m³, and the unit of the value is in cubic meters. Press the "MENU" key to save the setting and exit.

Note: The pool size has a setting range, which depends on the type of salt cell. The value will not be changed when pressing "+" / "-" key if the value out of range.

Setting range of pool size:

● Dream Salt 25 (EL05) -- 5 to 25 m³
● Dream Salt 50 (EL10) -- 5 to 50 m³

3. Water Flow Detection

The display panel shows “-FL-” and flashes when the system detects water flow. After continuous detection of water flow for 1 min, the system starts working. If the system cannot detect the signal of water flow, the display panel remains showing “-FL-” until there is a signal of water flow.

When the system is in the status of water flow detection, all the keys on the panel are locked except the "POWER" key.

4. Water Temperature Detection

a) The system will start water temperature detection after finishing water flow detection. The range of working water temperature is between 10^ and 55^ , if the temperature is over this range, the system starts a protection program.

• The display panel shows "EE01" when the water temperature is too low, and the error indicator is on.
  ● The display panel shows "EE02" when the water temperature is too high, and the error indicator is on.

The protection program will be removed once the water temperature is within the normal range.

b) Press the "MENU" key to switch the screen of display panel, and then check the water flow temperature and the device temperature. Press the "+" / "-" key to change the water flow temperature unit °C / °F. The default unit is °C.

5. Salinity Detection

a) The range of salinity is between 1500 PPM and 4500 PPM, and the ideal salinity is 3000 PPM.

● The low salt indicator and add salt indicator are both on when the system detects low salinity, and the display panel shows the amount of salt adding, the unit is "KG", meanwhile, the system starts the protection program.
- The High salt indicator and error indicator are both on when the system detects high salinity, and the display panel shows "EE03" defect code, meanwhile, the system starts the protection program.

The protection program will be removed once the salinity is within the normal range.

b) Press the shortcut key ▶, the salinity indicator is on and the display panel shows the value of salinity (PPM), press the shortcut key ▶ again to exit. Or it automatically exits after 6s.

6. Boost Mode

In boost mode, the working time is tripled from normal working time and the setting time will not be over 24 hours. The device will stop working for 30 minutes after the boost mode stops, and will then start up in normal status.

Long press the shortcut key ⬆ for more than three seconds, the boost indicator is on and the system starts the boost mode. Long press the shortcut key ⬆ again to exit boost mode, and the boost indicator is off.

Note: When setting the timer mode during boost mode working time, the system will exit boost mode automatically.

7. Timer Mode

Press the "TIMER" key to enter the timer setting interface, the timer indicator is on and the display panel shows the initial working time which is calculated by the system. Press the "+" / "-" key to adjust the working time. To ensure the electrolytic cell service lifetime, the upper limit of the working time for timer setting is 12 hours.

Press the "MENU" key to save the settings and exit the setting interface. The system will start the timer mode and start working. The timer indicator is switched off.

If you do not want to set the timer when the system is already in the timer setting status, the system will go back to the default interface (countdown working interface) after 6s without operation, or you can press the "TIMER" key again to exit.

During the timer resting status, the display panel shows "REST" when pressing the "TIMER" key, and the system is not allowed to reset the timer function. You need to reset the pool size to keep working. (See page 6, POOL SIZE SETTING)

9. Working Status

The generate indicator and on/off indicator are both on when the system is in the status of normal working, and the display panel shows the countdown working time.

The on/off indicator is on and the generate indicator is off when the system is in the status of resting, and the display panel shows the countdown resting time.

The countdown screen is the default home screen.

10. Cell Self-cleaning

The salt cell self-cleaning is a hidden function of this device. It is not shown on the display panel. The system measures the current value every 4 hours.

For example, when the system detects that the current is reduced by over 30%, the system will change the polarity of the electrode to start salt cell self-cleaning; otherwise, the polarity of the electrode is not changed.

The warranty is subject to the following terms, conditions and exclusions:

Subject to the following terms and conditions, the Seller grants exclusively to the end user a limited warranty for the product against non-conformity defects (including defects in workmanship and materials) when used normally in accordance with the Seller's instructions ("Warranty"). The Seller's instructions include information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and services communications.

This Warranty is a commercial warranty that is applicable in all countries of the European Union and UK that is in addition to and does not affect or prejudice your statutory rights under the statutory reseller warranty in case of any non-conformity defect in your Seller's product. During the Warranty Period, in the event of a fault in the product, the end user may choose between repair or replacement of the product with another product of equivalent value in accordance with the current product catalogue, provided that the option chosen is feasible and not economically disproportionate. The shipping costs within the country of purchase of the product (to the Seller or the Seller's reseller or back to the end user) and the labor costs of the repaired or replaced product/s shall not be assumed by the end user. All product returns must be pre-authorized by and approved by the Seller. Any automatic returns shall be refused by the Seller.

This Warranty shall exclusively govern the rights specified herein. The end user shall have no further rights against the Seller under this Warranty unless otherwise provided by applicable law.

The product is warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of the sales invoice or fiscal receipt (or its copy) of the new product, issued by the Seller's reseller to the end user ("Warranty Period"). The term required to repair or replace the product/s exceeding 7 days will be added to the Warranty Period.

This Warranty does not apply: (i) to consumable parts and components that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (ii) to defects caused by normal wear and tear of the product; (iii) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (iv) products that have been subject to incorrect handling or manipulation by a person not authorized by the Seller; (vi) damage caused because the product has been repaired or maintained with a third party component; (vii) damage caused because the product has been incorrectly installed, started-up or misused; or (viii) damage due to the product not been operated under the conditions specified in the technical documentation; (ix) damage caused as a result of knocks or (x) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, flooding, storms, earthquake or other external causes or factors such as abnormal voltage or electrical faults.

This Warranty is granted exclusively to the original end user and does not apply to any following end user who purchases the product from the original end user.

This Warranty shall only apply if the product is equipped with its original serial number and identification label.

In accordance with these provisions, the seller guarantees that the product corresponding to this guarantee ("the Product") is in perfect condition at the time of delivery.
• The Guarantee Term for the Product is two (2) years from the time it is delivered to the purchaser.
- In the event of any defect in the Product that is notified y the purchaser to the seller during the Guarantee Term, the seller will be obliged to repair or replace the Product, at his own cost and wherever he deems suitable, unless this is impossible or unreasonable.
- If it is not possible to repair or replace the Product, the purchaser may ask for a proportional reduction in the price or, if the defect is sufficiently significant, the termination of the sales contract.
- The replaced or repaired parts under this guarantee, will not extend the guarantee period of the original Product, but will have a separate guarantee.
• In order for this guarantee to come into effect, the purchaser must provide proof of the date of purchase and delivery of the Product.
- If, after six months from the delivery of the Product to the purchaser, he notifies a defect in the Product, the purchaser must provide proof of the origin and existence of the alleged defect.
This Guarantee Certifica e is issued without prejudice to the rights corresponding to consumers under national regulations.

INDIVIDUAL TERMS

• This guarantee covers the products referred to in this manual.
• This Guarantee Certifica e will only be applicable in European Union countries.
• For this guarantee to be effective, the purchaser must strictly follow the Manufacturer's instructions included in the documentation provided with the Product, in cases where it is applicable according to the range and model of the Product.
• When a time schedule is specified or the replacement, maintenance or cleaning of certain parts or components of the Product, the guarantee will only be valid if this time schedule has been followed.

LIMITATIONS

This guarantee will only be applicable to sales made to consumers, understanding by "consumer", a person who purchases the Product for purposes not related to his professional activities.
- The normal wear resulting from using the product is not guaranteed. With respect to expendable or consumable parts, components and/or materials, such as batteries, light bulbs, etc. the stipulations in the documentation provided with the Product, will apply.
The guarantee does not cover those cases when the Product; (I) has been handled incorrectly; (II) has been repaired, serviced or handled by non- authorised people or (III) has been repaired or serviced not using original parts. In cases where the defect of the Product is a result of incorrect installation or start-up, this guarantee will only apply when said installation or start-up is included in the sales contract of the Product and has been conducted by the seller or under his responsibility

2- CROSSED-OUT WASTE CONTAINER

- In order to reduce the amount of waste of electric and electronic apparatus, to reduce the danger of components, to encourage the reuse of apparatus, to assess waste and to set up a suitable waste treatment system, with the aim of improving the efficiency of environmental protection, a set of rules has been established applicable to the manufacture of the product and other rules regarding the correct environmental treatment when these products become waste.

It is also intended to improve the environmental practices of all agents involved in electrical and electronic goods, including manufacturers, distributors, users and particularly those directly involved in the treatment of waste derived from these apparatus.

• From 13th August 2005, there are two ways of disposing of this apparatus:

- If you purchase a new equivalent apparatus or which has the same functions as the one you wish to dispose of, you can hand it over, free of charge, to the distributor when making your purchase, or

- You can take it to local collection points.

• We shall cover waste treatment costs.

- The apparatus are labelled with a symbol of a “crossed-out waste container”. This symbol means that the apparatus is subject to selected waste collection, different from general waste collection.

- Our products are designed and manufactured with top-quality, environmental-friendly materials and components, which can be reused and recycled. In spite of this, several parts of this product are not biodegradable and therefore it should not be left in the environment. For the correct recycling of this product, please completely detach the electrical motor from the rest of the filtration equipment.
