WARNING

• This device is intended for use in commercial and private environments.
• This product can be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or people lacking experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the product safely and are aware of the consequent risks of use.
• Children must not play with the product.
• Danger of suffocation! Keep packaging materials away from children.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless supervised.
• Under no circumstances should you open or repair the product yourself. If you do so, it may no longer function correctly. Failure to comply will invalidate the guarantee.

WARNING

• When using the product in the bathroom, unplug the plug after use as water in the vicinity constitutes a danger, even when the product is switched off.
• As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of a residual-current device (RCD) with a rated operational current not exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom circuit. Your local electrical specialist can provide you with the relevant information.

1. INCLUDED IN DELIVERY

Check that the exterior of the cardboard delivery packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are included in the delivery. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the product and supplied components, and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use the product and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.

4. WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES

The product is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use. Failure to observe the following information may result in personal injury or material damage.

Intended purpose

WARNING

- Only use the product for external use and for the purpose for which it was developed and in the manner specified in these instructions for use.

• The product must only be used by individuals for drying and professionally styling hair!
• Only pull the cable from the socket by the mains plug.
• If the product is not used in the manner specified by the manufacturer, safety cannot be guaranteed.

NOTICE

• Do not use the product outside.
• Do not use any additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer or offered as accessories.

Risk of electric shock

! DANG

- Never use the product near baths, wash basins, showers or other objects containing water or other liquids.

• Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! If the product falls into water, do not reach into the water! First switch off the fuse at the fuse box and then pull the mains plug out of the socket. Have the product checked by an authorised specialist workshop before using it again!
• Make sure that no water gets inside the product!
• Never touch the product with wet or damp hands or feet.
• Keep metal objects (such as jewellery) away from the air intake to prevent them from being sucked in.
• Do not insert any objects into the casing!
• If there is visible damage to the product, mains cable/plug or accessories, do not use the product if you have any doubts and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
• Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable and do not pull or route it over/on

sharp, pointed objects or hot surfaces. Do not wind the mains cable around the product! Damaged or tangled mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!

- If the product has been dropped or has sustained any other damage, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk. Do not use the product if it is damaged or not functioning correctly.

WARNING

• Only connect the product to a socket that has the correct voltage as indicated on the type plate.
• In the event of a fault, have the product repaired by a certified specialist workshop.
• The product must be disconnected from the mains when performing maintenance work and exchanging the attachments.
• Do not use extension cables in the bathroom. This ensures that the mains plug can be accessed quickly in an emergency.
• Do not jam the mains cable in drawers or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable if it is twisted.

Risk of burns and fire

WARNING

• When the product is in operation, only hold the product by the handle.
• Do not cover the product with towels or other objects while it is in operation or still hot.
• Do not cover the product, blower or air inlet.
• Ensure that you do not use flammable substances during usage and cleaning. Likewise, highly flammable liquids must not be located near the product.
• When using the product, unplug the mains plug after use as flammable substances in the vicinity constitutes

a danger, even when the product is switched off.

• The product and the attachments used can become very hot during use, depending on the duration of use. Do not touch! Allow the product and attachments to cool down sufficiently on a non-flammable surface before disconnecting them!
• The removable filter, the air intake and the air outlet of the product must be free of lint, dust and hair that has been sucked in.
• The air supply must not be obstructed during use. Regularly check that the air vent is clean and free of hair.
• Place the product on non-flammable surfaces only.
• Keep the hot product away from easily damaged surfaces and the skin.
• Do not use the product on artificial hair.

5. USAGE

NOTICE

• A slight odour initially develops after switching on the product for the first time. This is normal and not harmful to your health. Allow the product to run for three to five minutes. After that you can use the product as normal.
• Never leave the product unattended during use.
• Switch off the product after each use and interruption.
• For your safety, the product switches off automatically if it overheats.

Starting use

1. Wash hair as usual and then dry with a towel. Hairsprays contain flammable substances, so do not use hairspray while using the product.
2. Unfold the hair dryer as shown.
3. To switch on the hair dryer, slide the ON/OFF switch 3 to "ON". The hair dryer switches on

and the LEDs on the blower button 7 and warm air button 8 light up. The current blower setting and temperature are shown on the display 11.

Selecting the blower setting

The device has three blower settings: (low, medium, high).

- Use the blower button 7 to set the desired blower setting. The three LEDs above the blower button 7 indicate the current blower setting.

Setting the temperature

The device has three temperature settings (Protect = 47°C, Styling = 65°C, Perform = 90°C).

1. Use the warm air button 8 to set the desired temperature setting. The three LEDs above the warm air button 8 indicate the current temperature setting.
2. The cold setting provides the perfect finish for styling. It cools your hair down and adds hold for an improved result. Alternatively, press the cold air button ② to use the cold air setting (29 °C).

Self-cleaning function

The device has a self-cleaning function that you can use to clean the inside of the device. The air is blown in the opposite direction through the device.

1. Remove the attachments from the device.
2. Remove the removable guard 9 from the device.
3. Remove the metal filter basket 10.
4. Slide the ON/OFF switch 3 to "ON".
5. Press and hold both the blower button 7 and warm air button 8 at the same time.

The air is blown in the opposite direction and the display shows "Clean".

1. To end the self-cleaning, press any button or wait 15 seconds for the automatic switch-off.
2. Replace the metal filter basket 10 and the guard 9

After use

! DANG

- Do not place the product on or near wet towels after use.

WARNING

• Store the product in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• Disconnect the mains plug, even if the product is switched off. Allow the product to cool down.

NOTICE

Protect the product from dust, dirt and moisture.

1. Switch off the device after each use or interruption.

2. Switch off the device by sliding the ON/OFF switch 3 down to "OFF". The display 11 switches off.

3. After each use, pull the mains plug out of the socket.

4. Allow the product to cool down.

5. Fold up the hair dryer. Do not wind the mains cable around the product!

6. Store the product in a dry place out of the reach of children.

7. The product can be hung on a hook using the hanging eyelet 6.

8. Allow the device to cool completely on a non-flammable surface.

9. Then store the device in the sales packaging.

5.1 Attachments

The device has a total of four attachments. The attachments are all magnetic and can be easily attached to and removed from the air outlet 1.

Professional nozzle 15:

Allows you to style and dry your hair exactly how you want it.

Diffuser 14:

To define natural curls and create volume.

Round brush 13:

Gives the hairstyle volume and shape.

1. Divide the hair into individual sections.

2. Place the brush head under a section of hair.

3. Then slowly move the brush along the section of hair towards the ends.

4. Gently twist the round brush to create an inward curl at the ends of the hair.

5. Repeat this process for each section.

Anti-frizz styling brush 12:

For a voluminous, smooth hairstyle.

1. The hair should be tow-el dry.
2. Gently and evenly sweep the anti-frizz styling brush through the hair from top to bottom.
3. If necessary, repeat the process.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

! DANG

• Risk of electric shock! Always switch off the product and unplug the mains plug from the mains before cleaning.
• Risk of burns! If cleaning takes place immediately after usage, allow the product to cool down sufficiently on a non-flammable surface.
• Do not use any aggressive, caustic, abrasive or corrosive cleaning products or hard brushes.

WARNING

• Risk of fire! Do not clean the product with highly flammable liquids!
• Never store a hot product that is still plugged in.

NOTICE

Do not clean the product in the dishwasher.

1. Disconnect the mains plug and leave the device to cool.
2. The casing of the hair dryer and the accessories may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
3. Remove the removable guard 9 from the device.
4. Carefully pull out the metal filter basket 10 . Clean the inner guard with a soft cloth.

1. Clean the metal filter basket 10 with a soft cloth.
2. Replace the metal filter basket 10.
3. Insert the removable guard ⑨ back into the device until you can hear and feel it click into place.

7. DISPOSAL

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in household waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations

for material disposal. Dispose of the

device in accordance with EC

Directive Waste Electrical and

Electronic Equipment (WEEE). If you

have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.

You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal companies or your retailer, for example.
