Under no circumstances should you open or repair the product yourself. If you do so, it may no longer function correctly. Failure to comply will invalidate the guarantee.

When using the product in the bathroom, unplug the plug after use as water in the vicinity constitutes a danger, even when the product is switched off.

1. INCLUDED IN DELIVERY
Check that the exterior of the cardboard delivery packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are included in the delivery. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the product and supplied components, and that all packaging material has been removed. If you have any doubts, do not use the product and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.

3. WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES
The product is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or careless use. Failure to observe the following information may result in personal injury or material damage.
Intended purpose

WARNING
- Only use the product for external use and for the purpose for which it was developed and in the manner specified in these instructions for use.
- The product must only be used by individuals for drying and professionally styling hair!
- Only pull the cable from the socket by the mains plug.
- If the product is not used in the manner specified by the manufacturer, safety cannot be guaranteed.
NOTICE
- Do not use the product outside.
- Do not use any additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer or offered as accessories.
Risk of electric shock

DANG
- Never use the product near baths, wash basins, showers or other objects containing water or other liquids.
- Never submerge the product in water or other liquids! If the product falls into water, do not reach into the water! First switch off the fuse at the fuse box and then pull the mains plug out of the socket. Have the product checked by an authorised specialist workshop before using it again!
- Make sure that no water gets inside the product!
- Never touch the product with wet or damp hands or feet.
- Keep metal objects (such as jewellery) away from the air intake to prevent them from being sucked in.
- Do not insert any objects into the casing!
- If there is visible damage to the product, mains cable/plug or accessories, do not use the product if you have any doubts and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Services address.
- Position yourself on a dry, non-conductive surface.
- Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable and do not pull or route it over/on sharp, pointed objects or hot surfaces. Do not wind the mains cable around the product! Damaged or tangled mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!
- If the product has been dropped or has sustained any other damage, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly qualified person to avoid any risk. Do not use the product if it is damaged or not functioning correctly.

- Only connect the product to a socket that has the correct voltage as indicated on the type plate.
- In the event of a fault, have the product repaired by a certified specialist workshop.

The product must be disconnected from the mains when performing maintenance work and exchanging the attachments.

Do not use extension cables in the bathroom. This ensures that the mains plug can be accessed quickly in an emergency.
- Do not jam the mains cable in drawers or doors, for example.
- Untangle the mains cable if it is twisted.
Risk of burns and fire
WARNING
- When the product is in operation, only hold the product by the handle 8
- Do not cover the product with towels or other objects while it is in operation or still hot.
- Do not cover the product, blower or air inlet.
- Ensure that you do not use flammable substances during usage and cleaning. Likewise, highly flammable liquids must not be located near the product.
- When using the product, unplug the mains plug after use as flammable substances in the vicinity constitutes a danger, even when the product is switched off.
- The product and the attachments used can become very hot during use, depending on the duration of use. Do not touch! Allow the product and attachments to cool down sufficiently on a non-flammable surface before disconnecting them!
- The removable filter, the air intake and the air outlet of the product must be free of lint, dust and hair that has been sucked in.
- The air supply must not be obstructed during use. Regularly check that the air vent is clean and free of hair.
- Place the product on non-flammable surfaces only.
- Keep the hot product away from easily damaged surfaces and the skin.
- Do not use the product on artificial hair

5. USAGE
NOTICE
- A slight odour initially develops after switching on the product for the first time. This is normal and not harmful to your health. Allow the product to run for three to five minutes. After that you can use the product as normal.
- Never leave the product unattended during use.
- Switch off the product after each use and interruption.

For your safety, the product switches off automatically if it overheats.
-
Wash hair as usual and then dry with a towel. Hairsprays contain flammable substances, so do not use hairspray while using the product.
-
Stand on a dry, non-conductive surface and make sure your hands are dry.
-
To switch on the hair dryer, press the ON/OFF button 4. The hair dryer starts on the medium warm air setting and two red LEDs light up on the LED display 7.
- Use the warm air button 6 or cold air button 5 to set your preferred level. The illuminated LED display 7 shows the currently set level.

- Dry and/or style your hair as you wish.
- Do not leave the hair dryer unattended while in use.
- Remove the mains plug from the socket.
- Allow the product to cool completely on a non-flammable surface.
- Then store the product in the original packaging.
- Switch hair dryer off after each use/interruption. To switch off the hair dryer, press the ON/OFF button 4. The LEDs on the hair dryer go out.
- Before switching on again, check the air outlet 2 and the filter 3 for blockage (e.g. lint, dust and hair that has been sucked in).
- Do not place the product on or near wet towels after use.

- The product can be hung on a hook using the hanging eyelet 9.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER
- Risk of electric shock! Always switch off the product and unplug the mains plug from the mains before cleaning.
- Risk of burns! If cleaning takes place immediately after usage, allow the product to cool down sufficiently on a non-flammable surface.
- Do not use any aggressive, caustic, abrasive or corrosive cleaning products or hard brushes.
WARNING
- Risk of fire! Do not clean the product with highly flammable liquids!
NOTICE
- Before each use, remove any lint, dust and hair from the air outlet ② and the filter ③ using an appropriately sized brush.

Do not clean the product in the dishwasher.

Disconnect the mains plug and leave the product to cool.
- Never store a hot product that is still plugged in.
- The casing of the hair dryer and the accessories may be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
- Before each use, remove any lint, dust and hair from the air outlet 2 and the filter 3 using an appropriately sized brush.
7. DISPOSAL
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in household waste at the end of its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country. Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). If you have any questions, please contact
the local authorities responsible for waste disposal. You can obtain the location of collection points for old devices from the local or municipal authorities, local waste disposal comp or your retailer, for example.
