2. Safety instructions for the user

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
  • Always place the appliance on to the flat and even surface.
• The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
• This appliance is intended to be use used in household and similar applications.
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
• Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
• The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
• Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
• Never use accessories that are not recommended by the

manufacturer.

- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

- When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.

- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.

- Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid, there is a risk of electric shock.

- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.

- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.

- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.

- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance

• to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Restrictions on use when used with children and elders

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of the children less than 8 years.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Do not allow the children to use the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance

Hair dryer:

• This appliance works with high temperature, therefore during the use always hold it by the handle and use extreme caution.
• Do not use the appliance inside a bathroom, shower, sauna, etc.
• Never use hairspray with the dryer on ionization.
• Keep away the small objects or mini particles away from the dryer, to prevent to be sucked in through the protection grid.
• Do not leave the device exposed to the weather (rain, sun, frost...)
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do not reach into the water.
• Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
• Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than drying your hair.
• Never use while sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas
• Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
• Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
• While using the appliance, keep your hair away from the air inlets.
• This hair dryer and straightener if it can be fitted on the wall then it should be fitted away and out of reach of persons who are taking a bath or washing themselves.
• When this appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard e ^! n when the hairdryer is switched off: For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operation current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
• This hair dryer is equipped with an overheat protection that can turn on automatically when the temperature of the hair dryer is too high. At this time, immediately turn off the power switch and unplug

the power cord, allow the hair dryer to cool for a few minutes before using it again. After checking that there are no hairs or foreign objects at the air inlet and outlet, turn on the power switch.

Hair straightener:

• The straightener becomes VERY HOT while in use. Take care to avoid contact between the surface of the plates and the skin, particularly around the ears, face and neck. DO NOT exceed the recommended application times as it might cause burning of hair or singleing.
• Do not leave the hair straightener on non-heat resistant surfaces or near flammable materials whilst the straightener is in use or cooling down.
• Do not cover and allow the straightener to cool fully (e.g., 30 mins) before storing. Do not wind the cable tightly around the straightener.
• Do not use the straightener on artificial hair, wigs or pet hair.
• Trip hazard beware of trailing cables when in use and while in storage.
• Cord entanglement hazard. The cable of the appliance can give rise to risks of entangle-ment, strangulation or tripping if not placed correctly. Please make sure that the electric cable is positioned safely.
• ALWAYS use the hinge lock to keep the heating plates closed together while the appliance is left to heat up or cool down, this is especially important if there are children in the household. An open unattended straightener can fall and latch onto a child's arm causing serious burns.
• Do not touch the shaded areas when in use or right after use since they will be very hot. Doing so may cause serious burn.
  -⚠ Danger! Risk of electrocution! Make sure that no objects such as hair clips or hair pins are inserted into the appliance. These can cause a short circuit.
• ⚠ WARNING: Do not use this appliance near water. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Before Use

1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Make sure that the product voltage and the mains voltage match.
3. Attach a nozzle if necessary. You can dry single hair locks by concentrating the flow of hot air with the hairdressing nozzle.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Your washed hair should remain damp and moistened. When the hairs are dry; slightly dampen it with water.
2. Before styling, brush or comb your hair, ensure that it is entangled. Prevent the hair from becoming too dry: this may result in frizzy hair which is hard to style. Depending on your own views and ideas you can style your hair using hair dryer.

Handling: With the handy sliding-switch the heating and fan capacity can be changed to your individual requirements.

The following settings are possible:

0 = off

1 = medium temperature / medium airflow for gentle drying/styling of slightly damp hair
2 = higher temperature / strong airflow for quick drying and/or styling.

THERMAL PROTECTION 1. If due to an obstruction in the protection grid or in the air outlet, the dryer overheats, it has an internal protection system (thermal switch), which activate automatically and results in turning off of hair dryer. If this happens, disconnect the dryer from the mains and wait 10 to 20 minutes before reusing it.

5. Instructions for Use

The straightener is suitable for use on dry hair. For best results wash, comb, dry and use heat protection products before straightening the hair.

WARNING: Do not use any hair treatment product prior to straightening other than heat protection products that clearly state they can be used before straightening with a hair straightener. When using a heat protection product be careful to use as instructed by the manufacturer and be sure not to make your hair too sticky otherwise it could cling to the heating plates causing burning or pulling of the hair.

1. With dry hands, fully unwind the cable and plug in the straightener to the mains supply. (Straightener arms are pressed together).
2. Place the straightener onto a dry and flat heat resistant surface, then slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
3. Wait approximately 1-3 minutes for the straightener to reach its proper operating temperature.
4. Take a section of hair to be straightened and place the hair between the ceramic coated plates as close to the root as possible but do not touch the scalp. To prevent damage to the hair do not repeat on the same section of hair more than once.
5. Close the ceramic coated plates firmly together and slide the straightener down the length of the hair in a single motion taking not more than 5 seconds from root to tip to prevent overheating / scorching the hair.
6. Release the section of hair and repeat on the next section, straightening the lower sections of hair before the top ones.
7. The hair straightener can be turned off any time by pushing the On/Off button or switching off at the mains and unplug

STYLING TIPS

- For best effect, the section of hair to be straightened should not be more than 5cm wide and 1cm thick.

For extra protection, use heat protection products before straightening.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Please, disconnect the device first.
2. Clean the plastic surface of the housing with a damp cloth and dry it with a dry one. Do not use alcohol or abrasive products.
3. It is recommended to clean the rear protection grid periodically. Remove the hair and other debris deposited on the grid.
4. Some hair may also be deposited on the air outlet grille, clean it if necessary.
5. This hair dryer model is maintenance free.
6. There is not any need of lubrication or any cleaning liquids.
7. Always make sure to keep the appliance clean for proper operation.
8. Please do not immerse the device in water.
9. Please clean the hair dryer from dust and hair by regular cleaning.

Keep the straightener clean and free of styling products.

1. Switch off, unplug and always allow the straightener to cool (at least 30 minutes) before storing or cleaning.
2. Do not wrap the mains cable around the straightener when storing or hang by the cable as this may damage the cable in the long term.
3. Wipe the outside of the straightener, the ceramic coated plates and cable with a damp cloth to remove any build-up of styling products. Wipe dry. Do not use detergent or abrasives as these may scratch the surface. Never immerse the straightener, cable or plug in water.

Prije uporabe

1. Potpuno odmotaajte glavni kabel.
2. Provjerite odgovaraju li napon proizvoda i napon napajanja.
3. Pričvrstite nastavak po potrebi. Možete sušiti pojedinačne pramenove koncentriranjem strujanja toplog zraka s nastavkom za friziranje.

UPUTE ZA UPOTREBU:

1. Oprana kosa treba ostati vlažna i navlažena. Kada je kosa suha, lagano je navlažite vodom.
2. Prije stiliziranja, počešljajte ili raščešljajte kosu, pazite da je zapetljana. Spriječite da kosa postane previše suha: to može rezultirati kovrčavom kosom koja je teško stilizirati. Ovisno o vašim vlastitim pogledima i idejama, možete stilizirati kosu pomoću sušila za kosu.

Rukovanje: Pomoću praktičnog kliznog prekidača, kapacitet grijanja i ventilatora može se mijenjati prema vašim individualnim zahtjevima.

5. Upute za upotrebu

Glačalo za kosu je prikladno za upotrebu na suhoj kosi. Za najbolje rezultate operite, počešljajte, osušite i koristite proizvode za zaštitu od topline prije ravnanja kose.

⚠UPOZORENJE: Ne koristite nikakve proizvode za njegu kose prije ravnanja osim proizvoda za zaštitu od topline koji jasno navode da se mogu koristiti prije ravnanja glačalom za kosu. Kada koristite proizvod za zaštitu od topline, pazite da ga koristite prema uputama proizvođača i pazite da vaša kosa ne postane previše ljepljiva jer bi se inače mogla zalijepiti za ploče za grijanje uzrokujući izgaranje ili povlačenje kose.

1. Suhim rukama potpuno odmotaajte kabel i uključite glačalo za kosu u strujno napajanje (ruke glačala su pritisnute zajedno).
2. Postavite glačalo za kosu na suhu i ravnu površinu otpornu na toplinu, a zatim pomaknite prekidač za uključivanje/isključivanje u položaj uključeno.
3. Pričekajte približno 1-3 minute da glačalo postigne svoju pravilnu radnu temperaturu.
4. Uzmite pramen kose koji želite izravnati i postavite kosu između keramičkih ploča što bliže korijenu, ali ne dodirujte vlasište. Kako biste spriječili oštećenje kose, nemojte ponavljati postupak na istom pramenu više od jednom.
