2. Safety instructions for the user
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
General precautions during the use of electrical ent
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• Always place the appliance on to the flat an even surface. - This product is intended for indoor, non-industrial, non-commercial and only for household use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the name-plate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on. - Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, disconnect it from the mains plug.
- The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Avoid spillage on the connector.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury
- Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.

Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.

Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Neither immerse the housing, which contains electrical components and the heating elements in water, nor rinse it under the tap.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- When you want to remove the plug from the wall contact, please do this at the plug itself and not by pulling on the cable or the appliance itself.
- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
- Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors or when the atmosphere is humid there is a risk of electric shock.
- While using the appliance, make sure that the power cord must not be caught or crushed.
- Do not let the motor unit, cord or plug get wet to protect against risk of electric shock.
- Be careful, while handling electrical appliances, as the surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat after use. Any misuse may cause potential injury to the user and may damage the appliance.
- Do not touch the outer surface of the appliance as it can get very hot during operation. Instead, use the handle or mitts.
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. In the event of the appliance falling in water, disconnect immediately from the mains supply and take it to an authorized service agent for repair before reusing.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In case of the cord be damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid Hazard.
- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Restrictions on use when used with children and elders
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Do not allow the children to use the appliance without supervision.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance
- Do not touch the top and bottom housing of the device. These can become very hot during operation. Use the handle instead.
- Do not cover the appliance with anything.
- Do not toast bread for too long as it may burn and cause a fire.
- Do not position the device beneath a curtain, wall cabinets or combustible materials.
- The kitchen surface can get hot while operating the device.
- Always preheat the cooking plate before starting to cook. 2 minutes is sufficient.
- In order to prevent the non-stick cooking plates from being damaged, do not use sharp or pointed objects while removing the sandwiches.
- GROUNDED PLUG: To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug. If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor.
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.
When this symbol is used, it means "Caution: Hot surfaces"

Note: When your Grill Toaster is heated for the first time, may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many living appliances. This does not affect the safety of your distance.

30-Minute Timer Knob:
The unit features a 30-minute timer knob, allowing you to easily set and control the cooking time. This same timer knob helps in turning on/off the unit and setting cooking time as per requirement. This feature ensures precise cooking and helps prevent overcooking, giving you consistent results with every use.
Thermostat knob:
Adjustable Thermostat Knob (Min to Max Settings):
The unit features an adjustable thermostat knob that allows you to control the temperature from the minimum to maximum range. This ensures ideal cooking conditions for different types of food, allowing you to achieve perfect results every time.
Power Light (Orange):
The orange power light illuminates when the appliance is switched on and actively heating, providing a clear indication that unit is in working mode.
Ready light (Green):
When the appliance has reached the desired temperature, the green ready light illuminates, it means the appliance is ready for use. We can place the food on the grill plates and cook it.

Note:
- When the Orange light is on, means appliance is powered on and getting ready.
- When Orange and Green lights are on, means appliance is ready to cook the food.
- When orange and green lights are off means, cooking has finished or cooking time has been elapsed.
5. INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
BEFORE USE
Before you start using the appliance for the first time, grease the non-stick coated cooking plates lightly with a small amount of oil or fat, and let the appliance heat up for about 10 minutes with the cooking places closed. This will remove the smell typically encountered when first switching on a sandwich toaster. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. Then, clean the sandwich toaster afterwards as described in “Cleaning and Care”.
HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE
- Insert the plug into the wall socket. Both indicator lights are still off. To turn on the appliance, set the thermostat knob to the desired temperature and timer to desired cooking time and power light will lit on.
- Once the unit reached at the desired temperature, green light will lit on, means sandwich maker is ready for cooking.

Note: Timer knob helps in turning on the unit. Without rotating timer knob unit will not turn on.

Note: in whole cooking process, both lights will remained on.
- Open the sandwich press.
- Place the prepared sandwiches on the lower cooking plate and gently close the upper cooking plate.
- Press both cooking plates together by using the handle.
- Cooking time varies depending on the food. To heat the sandwiches 3-4 minutes are sufficient.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, both light will turn off.
- Open the sandwich press and remove the sandwiches. In case need to cook more rotate the timer knob to cook more for few more minutes. In order to prevent the non-stick cooking plates from being damaged do not use sharp or pointed objects while removing the sandwiches.
- Remove the plug from the wall socket after use.
HOW TO USE YOUR 180° OPEN GRILL
- Open the appliance from closed sandwich press position, so that the plates are at a 90^ angle.
- Press upside lever button and gently use the handle to push the upper plate onto the surface area.
• Make sure that both plates are on surface level.
• The appliance will stay in this position until you lift the handle and upper plate to the closed position.
• The open grill is ideal for making hamburgers, grilled vegetables and barbecued chicken. - As you cook, grease is collected into the Grease Trays for disposal.
- Once finished, unplug and allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait until the appliance has cooled down with the cooking plates open.
- For reasons of electrical safety, do not clean the appliance with water or any other liquid.
- Clean the outside with a soft damp cloth.
- On-stick coated plates can also be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or a soft brush.
- Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
