2. Safety instructions for the user

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment

• Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
• This product is designed for indoor domestic, non-industrial and non-commercial use. Do not use the item outdoors or for any other purpose. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems with the appliance and may cause injury to the user.
• The unit must only be used for its intended purpose. No liability is accepted for damage resulting from improper use or incorrect handling.
  • Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
  • Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
• It is necessary to supervise when any electrical appliance is being used by or near children.
• Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down.
• The device is not completely disconnected from the power supply, even after it has been switched off. To disconnect it completely, unplug it from the mains socket.
• The appliances are not designed to be operated by an external timer or a separate remote-control system.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury

• Do not leave the appliance unattended.
• Do not place or use this appliance near water sources.
• Do not place or use the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., hotplates) or open flames.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and naked flames. Do not coil the cord around the appliance or bend it.
• Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  • To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging

or unplugging the appliance.

- Do not use the appliance with wet hands, on wet floors or when the environment is damp, there is a risk of electric shock.

- Never immerse the appliance or the plug-in water or any other liquid. Should the appliance fall into water, disconnect it immediately from the mains and take it to an authorised service centre for repair before using it again.

- Don't use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Never locate the heater where it may fall into bathtub or other water container.

- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if it shows visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.

- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. In the event of damage to the cord, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.

- In case of malfunction of the appliance, or if it has been damaged in any way, return the appliance to the nearest authorised service centre for examination, repair or adjustment.

- To avoid overloading the circuit when using this product, do not operate another high voltage product on the same electrical circuit.

- It is not recommended to use an extension cord with this product, but if an extension cord should be used:

- The marked electrical rating of the cable must be at least as good as that of the product.

- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang down where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.

Restrictions for use with children and the elderly

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

- Cleaning and maintenance of the user must not be carried out by children without supervision.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.

- Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from the appliance unless they are under constant supervision.

- Children from 3 to 8 years of age are allowed to operate the on/off button ONLY if the appliance is installed and ready for operation and

the children have been supervised and instructed in safe operation of the appliance and they understand all associated risks.

- Children aged 3 to 8 years MUST NOT: insert the plug into the socket, make adjustment, clean the appliance or carry out user maintenance operations.

Instructions to be followed when using the device

• The heater must be installed at least 1.8 m above the floor.
• Warning! Do not touch hot surface. The air outlet gets hot when the appliance is operating (more than 80 degree Celsius). Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater.
• Do not leave your home, while the appliance is turned on: assure that the switch is in position OFF (0) (Turned-off) and the thermostat switch is in position-minimum. Always disconnect the plug of the device from the socket.
• Don't use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
• The heater is to be installed in such a manner that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
• Never locate the heater where it may fall into bathtub or other water container.
• Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or the air intake openings of the heater.
  • Always ensure that the heater is not positioned close to curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard.
• The heater must not be located immediately below an electrical socket-outlet.
• Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air intake grilles of the heater.
• Do not place this heater near flammable materials, surfaces or substances, as there may be a risk of fire.
• WARNING: Keep inflammable objects as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. at a distance of minimum 100cm away from the fan heater.
• The most common reason for over-heating is the accumulation of dust and dirt in the appliance. You should clean regularly ventilation openings with a vacuum cleaner. Before cleaning you must disconnect the appliance from the mains. Keep the fan heater always clean.
• In order to avoid any overheating of the electric cord it is recommended to unreel the whole electric cord, in case appliance is covered or incorrectly positioned there is a danger of fire.

• Place the electric cord in such a way that it does not hamper the movement of people and not to be stepped on! You must use approved connection blocks, which are suitable for the appliance, i.e., there is a sign of compliance.

• The electric cord must not be in touch with the hot parts of the appliance.

• Particular care should be taken when the heater is situated in areas occupied by children or invalids.
  • Always unplug the heater when moving it.
• The room which is to be heated should not contain any easy inflammable materials (e.g., petrol, solvents, spray canisters etc.) or other easy combustible materials (e.g., wood or paper). Keep such materials away from equipment. Risk of fire!!
• During usage of the heater, please do not open the door or window continually otherwise it will influence the heating effect.
• If you want to close the machine, press the on/off switch to off, then the machine will keep the fan working 30 seconds until it blows out cool wind, then the machine will stop working, and you may pull out the plug from the wall socket.
• The timer sets the heater working hours.
• For the Infrared Remote Controller, please use 1 x 3V CR2025 Lithium Button battery. On first use, pls make sure the battery seal is taken out and then the battery connected normally into the remote-control unit.
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is disposed off.
• The battery is to be disposed off safely at the point of battery disposal. (PIs consult your local municipal waste disposal service or your local supermarket or appliance store).
• Do not use the fan heater for laundry drying.
• There may be trace of odour during the first few minutes of initial use. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
• The heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surface.
• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover heater.
• WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature.
• CAUTION: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
  • CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Features and Before first Use

NOTE: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having not been used for a long period of time, they may emit some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on for a short while.

FEATURES:

1. High quality plastic shell and long using life.
2. PTC ceramic heater elements, high efficiency heating, quickly heating, noiseless, odour-free, non-polluting, no flame and will not kill the oxygen.
3. Two level heat setting, you can arrange the temperature as your preference.
4. There is temperature fuse for fear of overheating and motor overheat protection. Automatically turn off when the wind outlet is blocked and turn on again when the sundries are cleared away.
5. Natural/hot wind for selection. You could close the heat element in summer; the appliance could blow cool wind for air circulation.
6. Safety thermostat. Overheat protection.
7. Remote control for easy operation.
8. Daily and Weekly timer settings.

INSTALLATION

Drill two holes in wall and have a distance of above 2.0m from the ground, the diameter of the hole just contained the expansion bolt, which the diameter is 6mm. After tucked the expansion bolt, fixed pothook on the expansion bolt with screw. Make sure pothook should be inserted the bottom. See the drawing as following for a better understanding. (See the picture) Use the machine's components (screws and expansion pipe) fix on the wall as following figure, then mounted the machine.

Note: max weight is 4.1kg, the wall should be able to carry this weight.

1. The distance between the product and the ceiling (and the side) should be ≥ 30cm .
2. Product installation size see Figure.
3. Note: when the product is installed, The hook (screw) is aligned with the hole "A" on the product. After hanging, must be moved to the "B", in order to firmly fix.
   To remove the product from the wall, it must be moved from "B" to "A" then take out.

HOW TO USE:

Usage:

1. Please make sure the capacity should be 220-240V\~, 50-60Hz.
2. Put the plug in the wall socket.
3. Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired setting.
4. Please operate the machine according the control keys on the control panel or the infrared controller. (You can see the control panel and infrared controller in this paper)

"0" is "OFF". "I": is "ON".

1. Turn on the power switch, LED displays current room temperature, the appliance is standby.
2. At the right side of the appliance a switch is located. Press "START/STOP", High heat, press again, the appliance will shutdown.
3. All functions need to be operated by remote control.
4. Fan keeps working for 30 seconds when the appliance is shut down (after heating)

Note: The indicator lights up when corresponding function is working.

			Quick setting	1. LED 1-7 flickering, press + or - to adjust and press OK to select day from Monday to Sunday, not selected day default shutdown (start: 00, stop: 00). Must set start and stop time at 7(set start: 00, stop: 00 if need to shutdown on 7(Sunday), then press OK), Week timer is start up. 2. It has memory function after set week timer (cancel week timer, the setting is in record) Setting record delete after power cut off.

	Display description	1. LED display current room temperature after setting, week timer indicator light and corresponding function indicator light are on.2. Heating mode (Low heat or High heat, not Set temperature Mode), when setting week timer, LED displays current room temperature and Week timer light and Low heat or High heat light flickering. Set temperature mode, when setting week timer, set temperature mode light is on.3. Swing, Low heat, High heat, set temperature, Open window detection function are all can be operated when in week timer mode or normal working mode.4. The indicator light is on when corresponding function is working.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Don't install this heater near to any heat flames or in direct path of sun light to avoid the heater change colours and distort.
2. If you don't use the heater for a long time, please wipe the surface. Wait for the machine being cool and pull out the plug, then clean it. Wipe it clean with washcloth or cleaner. Never directly wash with water, do not drop the water into the machine. Never clean it with acids, chemical thinner, gasoline benzene etc.
3. Before using it again, please check it and make sure the wind outlet have no dust and other things to block it.
   Warning: Don't touch the working machine and don't cover the wind outlet and inlet.
