  • Do not use the appliance without the complete filtering system.
  • Please follow the safety regulations applicable to the materials that are to be treated.
  • The accessories included in the delivery scope are conductors of electricity. Do not use any other accessories!
  • Check the status of the ground strap, its fasteners and its entire functioning before start-up and at regular intervals. Vacuum only using all the filter elements; otherwise, the suction motor can get damaged and this can be hazardous to health on account of increased release of fine dust particles!
  • From a safety point of view, industrial vacuum cleaners with protection against dust explosions are not suitable for sucking in hazardous substances that are explosive by nature, fluids and mixtures of combustible dust with fluids according to Section 1 of the Explosives Act.
  • Please follow the safety regulations applicable to the materials to be sucked in. During proper/ improper use, the parts (such as exhaust opening) of the industrial vacuum cleaner can tolerate a maximum of 95°C . Vacuum cleaners, especially those with a test certificate, may not be modified. This applies in particular to the combination of entry element (nozzle), pipes, wet scrubber and vacuum cleaner.
  • A modification of vacuum cleaners (e.g. changing the cross-section or length of the suction hose) for special applications may only be performed with the prior approval of the manufacturer.
  • Prior to use, the flawless condition of the vacuum cleaner including the electric supply line must be ensured.

In Emergency

In case of emergency (e.g. when suck- ing in combustible materials, in case of a short-circuit or some other electrical defect), switch off the appliance and pull the mains plug.

Start up

△DANGER

Risk of explosion. Prior to each start-up, check the water level in the containers (fill level in the centre of the sight glass).

Put the unit into its working position, securing it with the parking brake if necessary. Insert the suction hose into the suction hose connection and lock it in place by turning it in a clockwise direction. Fill the container with water to the centre of the sight glass. Add foam ex (RM 761), observe dosing instructions.

Attach the desired accessories and turn them clockwise.

Note: Additional regulations can be applicable to dusts with an ignition capacity below 1mJ.

Operation

Turning on the Appliance

Insert the appliance plug into the mains socket. Do not use extension cables. Switch on the appliance using the On/Off switch (Position 1).

Automatic monitoring of suction capacity

The machine is equipped with a suction power monitor. The control lamp lights up if the air speed in the suction hose falls below 20 m/s.

Check suction hose and attachments for blocks. The cartridge filter must also be replaced if the machine is used for long periods.

Note: The control lamp can light up occasionally during normal operation (e.g., while working with a floor nozzle), if the air volume comes down (cross-sectional reduction) causing a low pressure.

Note: There is no defect in this case; only an indication that, as specified above, the air volume has reduced and the low pressure has increased.

Note: If the container is full, a float closes the suction opening, and the suction turbine works at a higher speed. Switch off the appliance immediately, and empty the container.

Shutting down

Safety rules

Always check the operating temperature (protection against overheating) and after finishing work with the device, turn it off and unplug the power cord.

DANGER

  • The air exhausted from the device must be returned to the room, provided that the room has sufficient ventilation. To avoid exceeding limit values, the exhaust air volume must be at most 50% of the room air volume (room volume Vx, air exchange rate Lw). Without special ventilation measures: Lw=1h-1. Use of the device and the substances required for its operation, including safe disposal of used materials, may only be carried out by trained personnel with special equipment.

The pump is designed for pumping water. The installation and connection of the drive, including the pressure switch, must be carried out only by qualified personnel in a properly grounded electrical installation.

It is forbidden to use the device for purposes other than its intended use. It is necessary to follow the safety rules that apply to the materials being pumped. - Accessories that are supplied are electrically conductive. It is forbidden to use non-original accessories! - Before commissioning and after long periods of inactivity, check the condition, fastening, and operation of the safety switch. Use the device only with functional elements, otherwise it will lead to damage to the motor and danger to health due to increased noise!

  • For the pump, protected against dry running, in accordance with safety regulations, not intended for use in swimming pools or similar places, the requirements of § 1 of the Law on Swimming Pool Safety apply, as well as the requirements for the pump with accessories. It is necessary to follow the safety rules regarding the materials being pumped. With proper/improper use of parts (for example, the pump outlet), the pump may heat up to 95 °C.
  • The pump, especially with a float switch, must not be submerged. This also applies to the float switch element, pipes, and other parts of the pump.
  • Replacing the pump (for example, changing the cross-section or length of the power cord) for special purposes must be carried out only by the manufacturer.
  • Check the condition of the pump, including the electrical connection, before use.

In case of emergency

→ In case of emergency (e.g., pumping flammable materials, short circuit, or other electrical faults), disconnect the device from the power supply and pull out the plug.

Commissioning

△SAFETY

Safety. Before each use, check the water level in the tank (the fill level in the tank should be at least 2 cm).

→Set the device to operating condition. If necessary, use the support device and the float switch. Insert the plug into the socket and close it, turning it to the right.

Fill the tank with water up to the middle level. →Add the pump (RM 761), following the instructions for use. Install the required accessories by turning to the right.

Note: For devices with a power rating of 1 kW or more, additional directives may apply.

Operation

Insert the mains plug of the device into the socket. It is forbidden to use extension cords. → *Turn the device on/off using the switch. (Position 1).

AUTOMATIC PRODUCTIVITY CONTROL OF HUMIDIFICATION

The device is equipped with a humidification productivity control system. If the air flow rate through the humidification tube drops below 20 m/s, the control lamp lights up.

→ Check the humidification hose for secure attachment. → After some time of use, it may be necessary to additionally replace the filter.

Note: During normal operation (e.g., when working with a nozzle for spraying) the control lamp may light up for a short time due to a decrease in air flow rate (reduction of the cross-section) and an increase in pressure as a result of this insufficient pressure.

Note: These exercises are presented, however, not as a failure, but as a consequence of the fact that, as mentioned above, the air flow rate changes and the pressure drops.

Note: When the reservoir is filled, the float closes the humidification opening and the humidification turbine operates at an increased number of revolutions. Immediately turn off the device and empty the reservoir.

REMOVAL FROM OPERATION

Note: The collected condensate must not be disposed of through the sewage system without filtration.

△SAFETY

When disposing of the device, follow the regulations in force in your country.

The humidification turbine does not work

→ Check the mains socket and the circuit breaker of the electrical system. → Check the power cord and the mains plug of the device. → Turn on the device. -The water level in the reservoir is too low. The safety level sensor has activated, blocking the humidification turbine. Fill the reservoir with water up to the middle level.

The humidification force has decreased

→ Check the filter cartridge, tubes, hoses for leaks or clogging. Clean the accessories. Replace the filter cartridge.

Leaks at the outlet

→ Check the contact points of the cartridge filter. Replace the filter cartridge.

Filter status indicator lights up

→ Replace the filter cartridge.

Customer service

If the problem persists, contact the customer service department.
