ATTENTION! Children may use this apparatus from the age of 8 years. Persons who have impaired physical, perception ability or mental efficiency, and persons who do not have sufficient experience and knowledge are allowed to use the apparatus only if they are under supervision, or they receive guidance on the safe use of the device and understand the possible dangers resulting from its use. It is forbidden for children to play with the device. Any cleaning or user maintenance of the device may be done by children only under supervision.
ATTENTION! The pump motor is cooled by the liquid supplied. Flow of cooling agent is ensured by the liquid flowing along the body through a borehole of 2 mm. It does not indicate the defect of the pump, but the proper motor cooling.
Warning: in order to keep personal and material safety, pay special attention to the following signs and regulations.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! It warns that failure to keep to the regulation involves risk of electric discharge.

ATTENTION! Prior to starting the installation, read these instructions for use carefully! The guarantee will not cover any damage arising from failing to observe regulations.
ATTENTION! Similarly to other CT pumps, the pump of CT 3674 type with full depression head is also operated automatically by the built-in floating switch in accordance with the change of the water level. For the full depression head, install the floating switch in the plastic piece found on the lug. In case of full depression head, permanent supervision must be ensured.

Chapter 1: General information
Submersible pumps of CT2274, CT2274S, CT2274W, CT3274, CT3274S, CT3274W, CT4274, CT4274S, CT4274W, CT3674 type can be used for pumping clean water, rainwater from wells, pits, trenches or cellars, even when installed fix. They are suitable for flooding irrigation of various plants as well. Pumps of CT2274, CT2274S, CT3274, CT3274S, CT4274, CT4274S type are suitable for pumping sewage water, contaminated water as well.
Leakage test and electrical test are done on all electrical pumps when they are assembled.
When the pump is delivered, check whether it was damaged during the transportation; if yes, notify seller immediately. It should be done within eight days from the date of sale.
Chapter 2: Application limits
WARNING! The pump is not suitable for pumping inflammable or dangerous liquids!
WARNING! Avoid dry operation of the pump strictly!
Do not use the pump in garden lakes or swimming pools when persons are staying in them!
• Maximum temperature of the pumped liquid: 35^ C in continuous operation, with the motor fully submerged.
• Maximum depth of submersion: 5 m.
• Length of supply cable: 10 m.
• Maximum number of starts per hour: 20, distributed uniformly.
Chapter 3: Installation
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Perform each operation of pump installation only after having the mains cable disconnected!
DANGER! In order to avoid serious personal injury, it is strictly forbidden to inspect the suction and delivery opening by hand while the pump is connected to the mains!
For performing any lifting or carrying operation, use the handle which serves for this purpose. In case of permanent installation equipped with fixed pipeline, install a non-return valve which serves for the avoidance of liquid return when the pump is stopped. It is recommended to install a quick connection piece in a place that will help in cleaning and maintenance.
The collecting shaft should have size which makes the least number of starts per hour possible. (See: Application limits) In case of temporary application, it is recommended to use flexible pipe which is fixed to the pump with rubber holder. For handling the pump, use a rope fixed to the handle of the pump! The single-phase pumps CT2274, CT2274S, CT2274W, CT3274, CT3274S, CT3274W, CT4274, CT4274S, CT4274W, CT3674 are equipped with preset floating switch.
WARNING! Make sure that the floating switch stops the pump when reaching the lowest liquid level!
Make sure that there is nothing to hinder the floating switch from moving!
Chapter 4: Electrical connection
WARNING! Make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated in the pump's data plate are the same as those of the supply network!
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! The person responsible for the installation must ascertain of whether the electrical network is equipped with efficient earthing cable in accordance with the current norms.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Make sure that the electrical supply system is equipped with highly sensitive leak current protective switch (Fi relay 30mA DIN VDE 01100T739)!
The pumps are single-phase devices, equipped with 2+earthed wall plug at the end of the mains connection cables; in this case the earthing is achieved when the plug is connected to the socket.

The single-phase pumps CT2274, CT2274S, CT2274W, CT3274, CT3274S, CT3274W, CT4274, CT4274S, CT4274W and CT3674 are equipped with thermal protection relay which will protect them from any possible overheating.
Chapter 6: Maintenance, troubleshooting
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Prior to the performance of any maintenance work, disconnect the pump from the electrical network; you can do it by pulling out the connection plug from the socket.
Under normal circumstances, the pumps CT2274, CT2274S, CT2274W, CT3274, CT3274S, CT3274W, CT4274, CT4274S, CT4274W and CT3674 do not require any maintenance. Occasionally it may be necessary to clean the hydraulic part or replace the impeller. If the connection cable or the connector plug gets damaged, its immediate replacement to another cable or plug of the same quality as the original may be done by the manufacturer, the customer service or a skilled technician! The disassembly of the pump may be done only by specialized service repair shop. Following the repair, pressure test must be done again, which is to be certified in writing!
