What precautions should be taken before first use of the BSS 306L?

Before first use, read the safety instructions No. 59579220. Ensure that the appliance is complete and free from transport damage. Follow the safety instructions and use the appliance as intended.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?

Yes, the BSS 306L is designed for wet cleaning. To vacuum liquids, remove the non-woven filter bag and install the rubber lips (supplied). Do not vacuum health-damaging dusts in wet mode. The float automatically stops suction when the maximum level is reached.

How do I clean the vacuum cleaner filter?

Use the semi-automatic filter cleaning function: press the cleaning button 5 times (appliance running) to clean the filter cartridge with a pulsed air flow. For more powerful cleaning, close the suction hose or elbow with your hand while activating the button 5 times. Perform this every 5 to 10 minutes to extend the filter life.

What should I do if suction power decreases?

Check and clean the nozzle, tube, hose, and filter cartridge. Replace the non-woven filter bag if full. Activate the semi-automatic filter cleaning (5 presses). If the problem persists, replace the filter cartridge.

How do I connect a power tool to the vacuum cleaner?

Plug the power tool into the socket on the vacuum cleaner. Set the main switch to program 2. The vacuum cleaner will start and stop automatically with the tool. Use the supplied tool adapter to connect the hose to the tool.

What type of dust can this vacuum cleaner handle?

Unlock and remove the suction head. Rotate the head 180° and set it down. Unscrew the retaining nut and remove the used cartridge. Dispose of it in accordance with legal requirements. Place the new cartridge, screw the nut back on, then reposition and lock the suction head.
