How to use the Hendi 221624 mixer?

Pour the milk into the beaker (without overfilling), screw on the stirrer of your choice (single or double layer), insert the beaker into the beaker holder, plug in the appliance and turn the switch to position I (low speed) or II (high speed). Do not operate for more than 3 minutes per cycle.

Which stirrers to use for a creamier foam?

Use the double-layer stirrers to incorporate more air and obtain a smoother, frothier drink. Single-layer stirrers are suitable for a lighter mix.

How to clean the mixer?

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool. Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Wash the beaker with warm soapy water. Never immerse the motor block and do not put any parts in the dishwasher.

What to do if the appliance stops while in use?

The internal thermal limiter has activated to prevent overheating. Turn the switch to '0', unplug the appliance and let it cool completely for 20 to 30 minutes before using it again.

Why won't the mixer turn on?

Check that the plug is properly inserted and that the switch is on position I or II. Also ensure that the beaker is correctly inserted into the beaker holder (a safety micro-switch may be the cause).

What is the maximum capacity of the beaker?

The capacity is 0.75 to 0.95 liters. Do not overfill to avoid spillage during mixing.

Can I use the mixer with hot milk?

The appliance is designed for cold or room temperature milk. Hot milk could damage the motor or cause overflow. It is recommended to use cold milk for a better foam.

• This appliance is intended for commercial use.
• Only use the appliance for the intended purpose it was designed for as described in this manual.
• The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect operation and improper use.
• Keep the appliance and electrical plug away from water and other liquids. In the event the appliance falls into water, immediately remove the power plug from the socket. Do not use the appliance until it has been checked by a certified technician. Failure to follow these instructions will cause life threatening risks.
• Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance by yourself.
• Do not insert objects into the housing of the appliance.
• Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
  DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not attempt to repair the appliance by yourself, repairs are only to be conducted by qualified personnel.
• Never use a damaged appliance! When it's damaged, disconnect the appliance from the socket and contact the retailer.

• Do not take off the cup before the motor fully stopped.
• Do not operate the appliance without load inside the cup anytime.

• This appliance is designed for mixing milk or coffee with ice and aireate the mix with the supplied agitators. Any other use may lead to damage of the appliance or personal injury.

• Operating the appliance for any other purpose shall be deemed a misuse of the device. The user shall be solely liable for improper use of the device.

Grounding installation

This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be connected to a protective ground. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current.

This appliance is fitted with a power cord that has a grounding wire and grounded plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

Preparations before using for the first time

• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
• Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged and with all accessories (See = = > different parts of accessories). In case of incomplete delivery and damages. Please contact supplier immediately. Do not use the appliance. (See = = > Warranty).
• Clean the appliance before use (See = = > Cleaning and Maintenance).

Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
- Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant surface that is safe against water splashes.
- Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the future.

Operation

Warning: Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical power supply & make sure the power switch is at the "0" position.

• Pour the milk inside the cup. (Note: Do not put too much to avoid overflow).
• Screw in the agitator.

NOTE: There are 2 single and 2 double layer for selection. Use double layer agitator to allow more air into the mix and create a smoother or bigger froth of drink.

• Insert the cup with the ingredients on the cup holder.
• Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical power supply.

• The power switch has 2 speeds for selection. Switch ON the appliance by turning the power switch to the I (low speed) or II (high speed) position.

• Switch OFF the appliance by turning the power switch to the "0" position (Level position) if the operation is finished.

• Unplug the appliance from the electrical power supply.
• Put out the cup for drinking.

NOTE:

• Do not operate the appliance for more than 3 minutes at one time or without milk ingredient inside the cup to prevent overheated.
• Different milk may have different froth outcome.
• Make sure the cup is safely placed in the machine before starting operation.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Attention: Always unplug the appliance from the electrical power outlet and let it cool down completely before cleaning & storage.

Cleaning

• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Clean the cooled exterior surface with a slightly damp cloth or sponge with some mild soap solution.
• Never use abrasive sponges or detergents, steel wool or metallic utensils to clean the interior or exterior parts of the appliance.
• Wash the cup in warm soapy water after each use.

NOTE: No parts are dishwasher safe.

Storage

• Before storage, always make sure the appliance has already been disconnected from the electrical outlet and cooled down completely.
• Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.
