How to fill the tank of the Prima 5 Plus?
First fill the tank with water to check the seal and safety valve. Then empty the water and fill with liquid plant protection product. Use the supplied funnel and follow the dosages specified by the product manufacturer.
How to pressurize the device?
After filling the tank, screw on the pump. Pump until the yellow mark appears on the pressure gauge. Lock the pump handle by pushing it down and turning it clockwise until it stops.
What is the maximum recommended pressure?
The permissible working pressure is 3 bar maximum. Do not exceed this pressure. The pressure gauge has a red marking indicating too high pressure; in that case, vent the device.
How to clean the sprayer after use?
Empty the tank by unscrewing the pump carefully to release air, then pour the remainder into a suitable jerry can. Rinse the tank with clean water and spray water to clean the nozzle and hoses. Never pour residues into the sink.
What to do if the nozzle is clogged?
Clean the nozzle and the quick-closing valve filter. If the nozzle is blocked, do not blow into it with your mouth. Use a fine needle or a jet of water to unblock it.
What products can I use with the Prima 5 Plus?
The device is designed for authorized liquid plant protection products and acetic acid (up to 10%). Do not use flammable liquids, solvents, oils, alkaline or acidic products other than acetic acid, nor products above 40 °C.
Can I use the device for common household products?
No, the device is intended exclusively for plant protection products and acetic acid ≤10%. Do not use it for disinfectants, detergents or other household products, as this could damage the device or pose a health risk.
How to store the sprayer?
After use, empty and rinse the device. Store it in a place protected from frost and prolonged sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children. Do not keep it in barns because of ammonia vapors.

What is the service life of the device?
