Turning the iron off Maintenance and servicing work must always be carried out when the equipment has cooled down and has been disconnected from the power supply. Dust should be removed from the ironing board on a monthly basis to guarantee the ventilation function. Dependingontheconguration, toprevent germ formation in the sponge, the condensation collection tank [9] must be regularly removed and the sponge contained therein rinsed out, cleaned and reused after drying. The ironing pressure and the collection of dust particles and dust reduces the permeability of the special ironing board cover and therefore the performance of the complete pressurised steam ironing system. The special ironing board cover [1] is particularly permeable to air and steam. Therefore, only use original accessories.
