Intended purpose The cordless vacuum cleaner is only suitable for vacuuming dry and wet surfaces. You can vac- uum dry and wet material and small volumes of liquid. The suction of fl ammable, explosive or hazardous substances is prohibited. The device may be used by children aged 8 and older un- der supervision. The device is intended to be used by do-it-yourselfers. It was not designed for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of commercial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improp- er use or incorrect operation. of the device and understand the resulting hazards. Children must never play with the de- vice. Cleaning and user main- tenance must not be carried out by children if they are not supervised. Attention! The following basic safety precautions must be observed while using electrical devices to protect against electric shock, injury and risk of fi re: This is how to avoid accidents and injuries:
- Never leave the device un- attended at the workplace when it is ready for use.
- Do not allow the vacuum to come into contact with peo- ple or animals.
- While in operation, never aim the device and nozzles at yourself or other people; particularly not eyes or ears. There is a risk of injury.
- Do not vacuum hot, glow- ing, fl ammable, explosive or hazardous substances. These include hot ashes, pet- rol, solvents, acids or alkalis amongst others. Risk of fi re and injury.
- Check the device and acces- sories regularly for damage. Do not use the device or ac- cessories if damaged. This is how to avoid accidents and injuries from an electric shock:
- Switch the device off - When you are not using the device or when you are transporting or leav- ing it unattended; - When you inspect the device, clean it or re- move blockages; - When you perform cleaning or maintenance work, or swap accesso- ries; - After contact with for- eign objects or if abnor- mal vibration occurs.
- Do not submerge the device in water and do not operate it in a damp environment.
- Do not submerge the device in water!

This is how to avoid damage to the equipment and possible personal injuries resulting from this:
- Make sure before use that the device is properly as- sembled and that the fi lters are in the correct position.
- Do not operate the device without fi lters. The device could become damaged.
- Only use original spare parts and accessories (see “Spare parts/accessories”) which are supplied and rec- ommended by our service centre. Using externally pro- duced parts results in the im- mediate loss of the warranty claim.
- Only have repairs per- formed by customer service centres authorized by us.
- Comply with the device’s cleaning and maintenance instructions.
- Store the device in a dry place and out of reach of children.
- Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by PARKSIDE. This can result in electric shock or fi re. Correct handling of the battery charger This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re- duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Chil- dren shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by chil- dren without supervision. a) The charger must only be connected to a mains socket via a residu- al-current circuit breaker (RCD) with a rated leak- age current of not more than 30mA. b) To charge the battery, use only the charger supplied. Risk of fi re and explosion. Risk of fi re and explosion.IE
c) Before each use, check the charger, cable and plug and have them re- paired by qualifi ed pro- fessionals and only with original parts. Do not use a defective charger and do not open it up yourself. This ensures that the safety of the device is maintained. d) Ensure that the mains voltage matches the specifi cations on the charger rating plate. Risk of electric shock. e) Disconnect the charger from the mains before closing or opening con- nection to the battery/ power tool/device. This ensures that the battery and charger are not damaged. f) Keep the charger clean and away from wet and rain. Do not use the charger outdoors. Dirt and the entry of water increase the risk of electric shock. g) The charger must not be operated on or in the immediate vicinity of fl ammable surfaces (e.g. paper, textiles). Risk of fi re due to heating caused by charging. h) Avoid mechanical dam- age to the charger. This can result in internal short circuits. j) Do not use the charger to charge non-rechargeable batteries. k) Do not connect a damaged cable to the power supply. Do not touch a damaged ca- ble before it has been disconnected from the power supply, as you could come into contact with active parts. Charging process Do not expose the battery to extreme conditions such as heat and shocks. There is a risk of injury caused by leaking electrolyte solu- tion! In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse the affected sites with water or a neutralising agent and seek medical attention.GB
Charging the battery
1. Connect the charging cable
(9) to a power supply unit.
2. Connect the charger cable
plug (8) with the charger socket on the tool (7).
3. Connect the power supply
unit to a socket. Red illuminated - battery <30%, charging red/orange illuminated - battery > 30%, charging Red/orange/green il- luminated - battery fully charged
4. After the recharging pro-
cess is completed, fi rst unplug the charger from the wall outlet, and then remove the charger cable plug from the tool. Initial start-up Before each use, ensure the fi lter (12) and fi lter holder (11) are sitting correctly in the col- lection container (1). Also inspect the device visually for damage. The battery must only be charged up in dry areas. There is a risk of personal injuries from an electric shock.
- The device may only be powered with SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) as indi- cated by the label on the appliance.
- Charge the battery before using it for the fi rst time.
- To charge the Li-ion battery integrated in the device, use only the XZ0900-2400EN- CG power adapter. The power adapter is available from our online shop. For charging use only pro- tection class II power sup- ply approved for use with household products.
- Always comply with the latest safety instructions, as well as the regulations and information relating to envi- ronmental protection.
- Defects resulting from im- proper handling are not covered by the warranty.IE
Do not operate the de- vice if damaged or in- correctly assembled! Replace damaged parts and dirty fi lters. See “Spare parts/accessories”.
1. Remove the collection con-
tainer (1) by pressing the re- lease button (3) and detach- ing the collection container (1).
2. Check that the fi lter hold-
er (11) is sitting securely against the mechanical stop in the collection container (1) by lightly pressing the fi lter holder (11). Due to its shape, the fi lter holder (11) can only be inserted into the collection container (1) in one position. Note the pro- trusions (11a).
3. Check whether the fi lter (12)
is sitting securely in the fi lter holder (11). Lightly press the fi lter into the fi lter holder (11).
4. Re-attach the collection con-
tainer (1) onto the device. Place it on the underside of the device and allow it to latch into the interlock re- lease on the top side of the device. Note the catch on the bottom of the device and the collection container (1). Operation Crevice nozzle The crevice nozzle (10) is suita- ble for dry vacuuming crevices, corners and radiators. Wet vacuuming
- For wet vacuuming, remove the lamella fi ne fi lter.
- When vacuuming liquids, pay attention to the “MAX” marking on the collection container (1). The maximum volume for liquids is 60ml. Working instructions
- Ensure that the collection container (1), fi lter holder (11) and fi lter (12) are dry when changing directly from wet to dry vacuuming! Remove the power sup- ply unit before working with the equipment. Do not useGB
extension cables. The power supply unit is to be used only in enclosed spaces. Switching on/off Before switching on, en- sure that the fi lter (12) and fi lter holder (11) are ready for us. See “Initial start- up”. Attach the crevice noz- zle (10) as needed. To switch on or off, briefl y press the On/Off switch (4) once. Emptying the collection container Empty the collection container (1) after every use. Empty the collection container if suction performance is de- creasing. If the collection container is full of dust or the fi lter becomes wet from wet vacuuming, the cordless hand-held vacuum cleaner may become dam- aged! Emptying the collec- tion container after wet vacuuming: Hold the collection con- tainer with the tip point- ing downwards when re- moving it to prevent liquid getting into the device!

Cleaning Always remove the rechargeable bat- tery before carrying out work on the device. Risk of injury! Never spray down the device with wa- ter or place it in water! Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents or sol- vents. The device could become damaged.
- Clean the housing with a dry cloth or paint brush.
- Tap the fi lter (12) and clean it with a brush or com- pressed air. If the fi lter is contaminated and cannot be cleaned, replace it! See “Spare parts/Accesso- ries”.
- Wash the foam fi lter 13) with lukewarm water and soap and let it dry.
- Empty the collection con- tainer (1) after every use. Clean the collection con- tainer (1) with a damp cloth.
- Always keep the ventilation slit on the device housing unobstructed otherwise the device will overheat. Maintenance Replacing the fi lter If contaminated, replace the fi lter with a new one. New fi lters can be acquired from the online shop. See “Re- placement parts/Accessories”.

tainer (1) onto the device by placing it on the underside of the device and allowing it to latch into the interlock release on the top side of the device. Storage
- Store the device in a dry and dustproof location and out of reach of children.
- Only store the batteries in the partially-charged state. The charge status should amount to 40-60% during a lengthy storage period (1-2 LEDs are on).
- Store the device between 10°C and 25°C. Avoid extreme cold or heat during storage, so that the batteries do not lose power.
- Check the battery charge status approximately every 3 months during a lengthy storage period and recharge if necessary. Disposal/ environmental protection The device, accessories and packaging should be properly recycled. Machines do not belong with domestic waste. Li-ion Do not dispose of the device with a built-in battery in the house- hold waste, a fi re (risk of explo- sion) or water. Damaged bat- teries can harm the environment and your health if poisonous fumes or liquids es- cape.
- Dispose of the device with the battery discharged. Do not open the device or bat- tery.
- Dispose of the device in ac- cordance with the local reg- ulations. Return the device to a collection point from where it can be submitted for environmentally com- patible recycling. For more information, please contact your local waste manage-IE
