Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing your new petrol leaf vacuum/blower (hereafter referred to as device or power tool).
You have chosen a high-quality device. This device was quality-tested and subjected to a final inspection during production, therefore ensuring proper functioning of your device.

The instruction manual forms part of this device. It contains important information on safety, use and disposal. Read the instruction manual carefully. Familiarise yourself with the controls and how to use the device correctly. Use the device only as described and for the stated fields of application. Store the instruction manual carefully and ensure that all documents are handed over in the event that the device is passed on to another user.
Proper use
This device is only intended for the following use:
- Suctioning dry foliage.
- To collect dry leaves/remove them from hard to reach areas (e.g. under vehicles).
The device is intended for use by adults. Children under the age of 16 may not use the device, except under supervision.
Any other use that is not expressly permitted in this instruction manual may pose a serious hazard to the user and result in damage to the device. The operator or user of the machine is responsible for any accidents or personal injury and/or material damage to third parties or their property. The machine is intended to be used by do-it-yourselfers. It was not designed for heavy commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of commercial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or incorrect operation.
DANGER! A leaf vacuum is not a wet vacuum! Please avoid vacuuming wet materials (leaves, dirt, branches, limbs, pinecones, grass, sand, bark mulch/shredded material etc.). Do not vacuum on damp or wet grass. Incorrect use can, under certain circumstances, lead to blockages in the shredding chamber and therefore to reduced performance. The machine may then have to be completely disassembled and cleaned. This work must be carried out by a specialist and is not covered by the warranty.

- Carry the machine with two hands. Use the handle (26) and auxiliary handle (20) for this.
- Before transporting between two locations, empty the fuel tank with a petrol suction pump. Do not empty the fuel tank indoors, near fire or when smoking. Gas vapours can cause explosions or fire.
- To prevent fuel loss, damage or injury, the machine must be secured against tipping over and slipping during transport in vehicles.
Cleaning, maintenance and storage
⚠ WARNING! Risk of injury due to unintentional start-up. Protect yourself when performing maintenance or cleaning work. Switch off the engine.
⚠️ CAUTION! Always carry out maintenance and adjustment work with the engine switched off and the spark plug connector (34) disconnected.
You should have any repair and maintenance work that is not described in these instructions carried out by our Service Centre. Only use original replacement parts.
Cleaning
NOTICE! Risk of damage. Chemical substances may attack the plastic parts of the machine. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents.
- Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing and handles of the machine clean. Use a damp cloth or brush to do this.
- Use a brush to remove dirt from the pipes and nozzles.
- Clean the collection bag using a brush and, if needed, compressed air.
Maintenance
- Check the device before each use for obvious defects such as loose, worn or damaged parts.
- Check the covers and protective devices for damage and correct fit. Replace these if necessary.
Removing obstructions and blockages
Leaves and fresh plant cuttings may obstruct the machine.
⚠ WARNING! Risk of injury! Switch off the machine and allow the engine to cool down.
Procedure (Fig. A/C/D)
- Remove the suction pipe (5) and suction nozzle (6) in the assembled state. Turn the suction pipe (5) anticlockwise and pull it out of the vacuum connection (18).
- Remove the collection bag (2) by detaching the Velcro (19) from the outlet pipe (7).

- Fit the suction pipe (5), suction nozzle (6) and collection bag (2).
Spark plug maintenance
Notes
- Worn spark plugs, or a spark plug gap that is too large, will lead to a reduction in engine power.
- Carry out the first maintenance after 10 operating hours. Carry out subsequent maintenance every 50 operating hours.
Procedure (Fig. G)
-
Unscrew the cover (33) of the spark plug (35) using the hex key (11).

- Clean the spark plug (35) with a wire brush.
Air filter maintenance
Notes
- Never operate the machine without an air filter. Otherwise, dust and dirt will get into the engine and cause damage.
- Clean the air filter regularly. Replace the air filter if it is worn, damaged or very dirty.
Check more frequently if the air is very dusty. - Never use petrol or flammable solvents for cleaning!
Procedure (Fig. G)
- Turn the air filter screw (31) anticlockwise ⬆.
- Remove the cover (30).
- Remove the air filter (32).
- Tap out the air filter (32) or clean them with compressed air if necessary. Replace the air filter (32) earlier if it is very dirty (see Spare parts and accessories, p. 46).
- Assemble the individual parts in reverse order.
Storage
Always store the device and accessories:
- clean
- dry
• protected against dust
• out of the reach of children - Do not enclose the device in nylon sacks as this may cause moisture to form.
-
Do not expose the machine to direct sunlight, but store it in the dark or semi-dark.
-
Clean the machine thoroughly at the end of the season and during the winter. Clean the collection bag by removing it, emptying it and washing it with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Reattach the dried collection bag.
- Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws are tightened so that the machine is in a safe operating condition.
Preparation (Fig. E/G)
- Drain the fuel tank (21) in a well-ventilated place.
- Start the engine, allowing it to idle until the engine stops and the carburettor is free of fuel.
- Allow the engine to cool down completely.
Winter break (more than 3 months)
- Remove the spark plug (35) (see Spark plug maintenance, p. 43).
- Fill a teaspoon with pure 2-cycle engine oil into the combustion chamber and pull the starter rope several times slowly to distribute the oil in the engine interior.
- Put the spark plug (35) back in.
