Be- fore using the device, you should familiar- ise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the device only as de- scribed and for the stated fi elds of applica- tion. Store the instruction manual carefully and ensure that all documents are handed over in the event that the device is passed on to another user. Proper use This device is intended for simple raking and collection of leaves, aerated material and grass clippings. The device is suited for use on lawns, paving stones or asphalt. The device is intended to be used by do-it- yourselfers. It was not designed for heavy commercial use. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or incorrect operation.   • Wear gloves when emptying the collec- tion container; there is a risk of being cut by sharp objects (e.g. shards of glass or metal). Assembly Assembling the device Attaching the base to the lower bar

1. Insert the lower bars (2) into the

appropriate recess inside the base (4). The side of the lower bar with the recess in the bore must be facing up.

2. Insert one screw (9) into each bore on

the lower bar and tighten them with a washer (8) and a wing nut (7). Attaching the base on the housing

Intended uses and ac- tions against which the operating manual advises or warns must be categorically avoided. The product is designed only for private and not commercial use. The guarantee will be invalidated in case of misuse or improper handling, use of force, or inter- ventions not undertaken by our authorised service branch.
