Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
This dust extraction attachment is not intended for use by children and persons with physical, sensory or mental limitations or a lack of experience or knowledge. Otherwise, there is a risk of operating errors and injuries.
Supervise children. This will ensure that children do not play with the dust extraction attachment.
WARNING
Do not vacuum any harmful substances, e.g. beech or oak wood
dust, rock dust or asbestos. These substances are considered carcinogenic. Make sure you inform yourself about the applicable regulations/laws on how to handle harmful types of dust in your country.
Only use the dust extraction attachment if you have been adequately informed about how to use it. Thorough instruction on how to use the equipment prevents accidental misuse and injuries.
WARNING
The dust extraction attachment is only suitable for extracting dry
substances. The penetration of liquids increases the risk of an electric shock.
Do not expose dust extraction attachments to rain or wet conditions. The penetration of rain or moisture into the dust extraction attachment increases the risk of electric shock.
Ensure that the workplace is well ventilated.
The dust extraction attachment should be repaired exclusively by a qualified professional using only genuine spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of the dust extraction attachment is maintained.
Do not clean the dust extraction attachment by spraying a jet of water directly at it. Water entering the dust extraction attachment increases the risk of an electric shock.
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or explode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical attention should you experience any adverse effects. The vapours may irritate the respiratory system.
If used incorrectly or if the battery is damaged, flammable liquid may be ejected from the battery. Contact with this liquid should be avoided. If contact accidentally occurs, rinse off with water. If the liquid comes into contact with your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat.

Noise/Vibration Information
GDE 18V-26 D
Noise emission values determined according to EN 60335-2-69.
Typically, the A-weighted sound pressure level of the dust extraction attachment is 78 dB(A). Uncertainty K = 3 dB. The noise level when working can exceed the declared values.
14|English
Wear hearing protection!
GDE 18V-26 D + GBH 2-26
Noise emission values determined according to EN 60745-2-6.
Typically the A-weighted noise level of the power tool are: 93 dB(A); sound power level 104 dB(A). Uncertainty K = 3 dB.
Wear hearing protection!
Vibration total values a_h (triax vector sum) and uncertainty K determined according to EN 60745-2-6: a_h < 13m / s^2 K = 1.5m / s^2
The vibration level given in these instructions has been measured in accordance with a standardised measuring procedure and may be used to compare power tools. It can also be used for a preliminary estimation of exposure to vibration.
The stated vibration level applies to the main applications of the power tool. However, if the power tool is used for different applications, with different application tools or poorly maintained, the vibration level may differ. This can significantly increase the exposure to vibration over the total working period.
To estimate the exposure to vibration accurately, the times when the tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually being used should also be taken into account. This can significantly reduce the exposure to vibration over the total working period.
Implement additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects of vibration, such as servicing the power tool and application tools, keeping the hands warm, and organising workflows correctly.
Assembly
Battery Charging
Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion battery of your power tool.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger before using your power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging process does not damage the battery.
The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by the "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is discharged, the power tool is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The application tool no longer rotates.
Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the power tool has automatically switched off. The battery can be damaged.
Follow the instructions on correct disposal.
Removing the Battery
The battery (12) is equipped with two locking levels to prevent the battery from falling out if the battery release
button (21) is pressed unintentionally. As long as the battery is inserted into the dust extraction attachment, it is held in position by means of a spring.
Before carrying out any work on the dust extraction attachment (e.g. assembly, tool change, cleaning, etc.), remove the battery from the dust extraction attachment. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
To remove the battery, press the release button and pull the battery out of the dust extraction attachment. Do not use force to do this.
