Frequently Asked Questions - AT70_AT75011 HOOVER

How to replace the dust bag?
Open the bag compartment by lifting the latch. Pull the tab to close the bag and remove it. Remove the bag holder, insert a new bag by adjusting the collar, then put the bag holder back into the vacuum and close the compartment.
How to clean the filters?
Wash the pre-motor and exhaust filters by hand with lukewarm water (no detergent). Let them dry completely before reinstalling. Clean the pre-motor filter every 5 bag changes.
What to do if the bag full indicator is red?
Check if the bag is full. If so, replace it. Otherwise, check the filters and look for a blockage in the tube or hose. If the light remains red after 10 minutes, an electronic circuit breaker stops the appliance to prevent overheating.
How to unclog the vacuum?
Turn off and unplug the appliance. Check the telescopic tube and hose using a rod or handle to remove any obstruction. Also check the filters and bag.
What accessories are included?
Accessories include a flat nozzle, upholstery brush, small nozzle, parquet brush, mini turbo brush for pet hair, and a super turbo brush (depending on model). They are stored under the accessory compartment.
How to use the suction regulator?
The suction regulator is on the hose handle. Slide it to increase or decrease the suction power according to the floor type.
How to select hard floor or carpet mode?
On the main brush, press the floor type selector: for hard floor, the brushes are lowered to protect the floor; for carpet, they are raised for deep cleaning.
What to do in case of vacuum overheating?
If the appliance stops automatically due to overheating, turn it off, unplug it, and resolve the issue (full bag, clogged filter, blockage). The circuit breaker will reset automatically after 45 minutes.
Where to find spare parts for the vacuum?
Use only genuine Hoover spare parts available from your Hoover dealer or directly from Hoover. Specify the model number when ordering.
How to maintain the main brush?
Clean the brush regularly to remove tangled hair and fibers. Make sure it rotates freely. For a deep clean, remove the brush if possible and wash it with lukewarm water.

WARNING*: - The bag check indicator will remain red if the cleaner is used when the bag is full, if there is a blockage or if the filters are dirty. If used for a period over ten minutes with the bag check indicator red, an electronic cut out will switch the cleaner off to prevent any risk of overheating. If this should happen, switch the cleaner off, unplug and correct the fault(see 'Removing a blockage'). The cut out will automatically reset upon switching the cleaner back on.
