How to assemble the KTF 100 fan?

Attach the rear foot with the supplied screws, then attach the front foot. Ensure the power cord is properly fitted into the opening. Place the appliance on a stable and level surface before plugging in.

How to turn on and adjust the speed?

Plug in the appliance, then press the ON button. Use the SPEED button to choose between low, medium and high.

How to use the remote control?

Insert a CR2025 battery (not supplied) into the remote control's battery compartment. The remote control buttons correspond to those on the control panel: ON, OSC, MODE, TIMER, SPEED.

How to set the timer?

Press the TIMER button to set a duration between 1 and 12 hours. The fan will turn off automatically after the set time. The ambient temperature is displayed if the timer is not activated.

How to activate oscillation?

Press the OSC (Oscillation) button to activate or deactivate the fan's rotating movement.

What are the different operating modes?

STYLE mode is the standard mode, Nature mode simulates a natural breeze, and Night mode dims the display after 30 seconds for nighttime comfort.

How to clean the fan?

Unplug the appliance and wait for it to stop completely. Use a soft cloth and possibly a mild detergent. Never immerse the fan in water and avoid water entering the motor.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check the battery (CR2025) and its orientation (+/-). If the battery is depleted, replace it. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

What are the important safety precautions?

Never use the appliance without the base, do not cover, unplug before cleaning, do not immerse, and keep children away from prolonged cold drafts.

• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the product.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.
• A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the authorised service agent in order to avoid hazards.
• Caution! There is danger of explosion from improper replacement of the battery. Replace battery only with the same or equivalent type of battery.
• Always exchange the entire set of batteries.
• Make sure the battery are correctly inserted. Observe the polarity (+) plus / (-) negative on the battery and the housing. Improperly inserted battery can lead to leakage or, in extreme cases, a fire or an explosion.
• Remove used batteries. Remove the batteries if you know that the product will not be used for a longer period of time. Otherwise, the batteries could leak and cause damage.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• The connections must not be short-circuited.
• Remove the batteries from the product before disposal.

2. Use the product only for its intended purpose and with recommended accessories and components. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.
3. Never leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.

5. Never immerse electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under running water.
6. Do not under any circumstances attempt (e.g. damage in power cord, product is dropped, etc.) to repair the product yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorised service agent.
7. The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.
8. Only unplug from the power socket can separate the product completely from the mains. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
9. Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
10. Keep this product including power cord and power plug away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing products/objects.
11. Only unplug from the power socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
12. Unplug the product .. - when the product is not being used, - in case of malfunctions, - before attaching / detaching accessories and - before cleaning the product.
13. Use this product in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
14. Place the product on a flat, sturdy and slipresistant surface.

15. Never use, expose or put the product near to: direct sunlight and dust; fire (fireplace, grill, candles), water (water splashes, vases, ponds, bath tube) or heavy moisture.

16. This product is not intended for commercial use. It is designed for household use only.

17. Do not remove the guard or insert any object during operation.
18. Before cleaning, always let the product come to a complete stop and disconnect it from the mains.
19. In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the product.
20. Small children, children and older people should not be exposed to cold air currents for a long time.
21. Keep product away from loose objects such as plants, curtains, etc.
22. The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.
23. Follow the instructions in the chapter Cleaning and care.
24. Never expose batteries to excessive heat (e.g. bright sun, fire), and never throw them into fire. The batteries could explode.
25. Keep batteries out of reach of small children. If batteries have been swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
26. If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth and dispose of them accordingly. Prevent battery acid from coming into contact with skin and eyes. If you do get battery acid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a physician immediately. If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and soap.

Changing Battery

1 Open the battery compartment. Insert 1 x battery (not included) of type CR2025 observing the + and - polarities as indicated on the battery and inside the battery compartment.

Assembly and installation

2 Remove the screws from the lower end. Attach rear part of foot, matching the screw holes. Insert and fasten the screws.
3 Attach front part of foot, matching the screw holes with those in the rear part of the foot. Insert and fasten the screws.
4 Ensure that the supply cord is fitted through the corresponding opening.
5 Place on a stable level surface.

Warning

The product may only be connected to the mains once it has been completely assembled.
The product must not be disassembled during operation, general care, cleaning and user maintenance.
The product may never be operated without the stand or in a horizontal position.

Operation

Note: The function settings and on/off switch can operated from the control panel on the ventilator as well as remotely.

Plug the power plug into the socket. The room temperature is shown in the display.
7 Turn on the ventilator using the POWER button.

8 Select the fan strength using the SPEED button.

Timer mode

The TIMER function switches the ventilator off at a set time. Times can be selected between 1 to 12 hour intervals.
11 Press the TIMER button to set the turn-off time.

Note: If the timer is not activated, the room temperature in ^ C will be shown in the TIMER/TEMP display.

Cleaning and care

Caution

• Before cleaning, always let the product come to a complete stop and disconnect it from the mains.
• Do not use solvents or abrasives, metal utensils or hard brushes for cleaning.
• Do not immerse the fan in water or other liquid. Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan motor housing.
