Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. Familiarise yourself with the operation, adjustments and functions of switches. Internalise and follow the safety and operation instructions in order to avoid possible risks and hazards.

Caution! Hot surface! Risk of burning! Do not touch the product's hot surfaces. Heat rises from the product during use.

Warning! Do not use this product near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
- Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a danger or injury.
- When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after every use as the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
Safety instructions
- Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never hold the appliance under running water.
- Let the product cool down completely before storing it.
- For additional protection, we recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to your appliance. The installation should be done by an experienced electrician.
- Burning hazard! Keep the appliance out of the reach of young children while it is switched on or cooling down.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the mains.
- If the appliance is placed on a surface with its stand, it must be ensured that this surface is stable, flat and heat-resistant.

- Never use a damaged appliance!
Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and contact your supplier if it is damaged.
- To avoid damaging to the power cord, do not squeeze, bend or rub it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
- Place the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Safety instructions
- If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the appliance.
- Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
- Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the casing.
- Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could present a safety risk to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open flames, e.g. candles, beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. vases, near the appliance.
- Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Protect the appliance against heat and cold, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the appliance can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet to completely switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.

Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

Should the appliance fall into water, unplug the power plug first before reaching into the water.
- Do not use the appliance barefoot.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended, if it is in use or the power plug is connected to an electrical outlet.
- Danger of burns! Parts of the appliance become very hot during use. Hold the appliance by its handle only.
- During use, do not use hair spray, water vaporisers or other vaporisers close to the appliance. Only use them when the appliance is switched off and the power plug is disconnected.
- Do not use the appliance if you are sleepy or if there is a possibility that you will fall asleep.
- Do not allow your skin to come into contact with the hot surfaces of the straightening plates; pay particular care to your face, neck, and hands.
- Place the appliance on heat-resistant surfaces only. Do not place on carpets, bedding, towels etc.
- Use a comb with shorter hair and place it between the appliance and scalp.
- Before use make sure that the hair is clean, dry and combed.
- Do not use the appliance too close to the scalp.
- Important! Check to ensure that the product is in a serviceable condition before use. The product shall not be used if it shows any signs of damage or if it's suspected to be defect.

Before first time use
Remove the product and accessories carefully from the original packaging. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future storage. Inspect the delivery contents for completeness and damages. Should the delivery contents be incomplete or damaged, contact your sales outlet immediately. After unpacking, please refer to chapter Cleaning and care.

Mounting and dismounting of attachments
Fig. 1 Put the desired brush attachment and rotate it until it locks into place. Note the markings on the attachment and product.
Note
Always attach an attachment before you insert the mains plug in the wall socket.
Fig. 2 To remove the attachment, hold the Release/Lock button and turn the attachment before you pull it off.
Warm air and cold air
Fig. 3a For warm-air styling, switch to Care.
Fig. 3b For cold-air styling, choose Cool. Press on the lock release button and slide the switch to Cool.
A Styling with the Hair curler attachment
Fig. 4 Put on the hair curler attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
Fig. 5 Press down the lever and place a strand of hair between the curling iron and clamp tongue. Rotate the curling iron in order to wrap the hair around the rod.

Note
• Thinner streak for smaller curls
• Larger streak for broader waves
Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.
Unwind the strands of hair from the curling attachment and open the clamp tongue. Allow the hair to cool before styling.

B E Styling with the round and natural bristle brush
- Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
- Place the brush in the hair.
- Switch on the product by moving the Control switch to the desired setting. 2 - Warm airflow for fast styling 1 - Gentle airflow for simple styling 0 - Off
Note
Make brushing movements from top of the head downwards while you slightly turn the brush.
Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.
- Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.
Styling with long hair styling brush
- Put on the corresponding brush attachment and plug the power cord in the wall socket.
- Divide the hair before styling. Start the styling with the underlying strands.
- Switch on the product by moving the Control switch to the desired setting. 2 - Warm airflow for fast styling 1 - Gentle airflow for simple styling 0 - Off Finish off with a cool airflow (only in warm air styling) to fix your style.
- Switch off the product, when you have finished your hair styling.
D Drying hair
Attach the air nozzle. Dry your hair with the desired airflow setting.
Cleaning and care
Note
Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, metal, or pointy objects for cleaning.

Caution
- Never submerge the product in water or any other liquid while cleaning.
- Ensure that no water enters into the interior of the product (around the switch), in the inlet grille and air outlet.
