USER MANUAL BL 8680 GRUNDIG

Please read this instruction man- ual thoroughly prior to using this appliance! Follow all safety in- structions in order to avoid dam- ages due to improper use! Keep the instruction manual for future reference. Should this ap- pliance be given to a third par- ty, then this instruction manual must also be handed over.

This appliance is intended for private domestic use only and is not suitable for professional catering purposes. It should not be used for commercial use.

The blades are very sharp! Handle the sharp blades with utmost care, especially dur- ing removing and cleaning, in order to avoid injuries.

Never clean the appliance with bare hands. Always use a brush.

Do not touch any moving parts of the appliance. Do not at- tach or remove the parts until the appliance comes to a com- plete stop.

Always keep hair, clothing and any other utensils away from the appliance during op- eration in order to prevent in- jury and damages.

The appliance is intended for domestic use only.

Check if the mains voltage on the rating label corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the appliance from the mains is to pull out the plug.

For additional protection, this appliance should be con- nected to a household faulty current protection switch with no more than 30 mA. Consult your electrician for advice.

Position the appliance in such a way that the plug is always accessible.

A spatula may be used to re- move the food from the meas- uring beaker and chopping bowl. Make sure that the ap- pliance is switched off before doing this.

We do not recommend operat- ing the appliance with dry or hard foods or for ice crushing as this may conclude in dull or damaged blades.

Remove bones and stones from food to prevent the blades and the appliance from being damaged.

Make sure that the lid is seated properly on the chopping bowl before you switch on the appliance.

Do not chop extremely hard items such as cof- fee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg, grains or bones. Remove stalks from herbs, shells from nuts and bones, tendons and gristle from meat.

Cut the food in small pieces. Caution

Be careful when inserting the chopping blade

as it is very sharp.

Do not touch the chopping blade with bare hands.

Never operate the appliance if the chopping lid is not properly seated on the chopping bowl, as this could damage the chopping blade. Notes

During operation always hold the chopping bowl with one hand to prevent it from tipping over.

Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 seconds.

To achieve the best results press the Start but- ton or turbo button intermittently. Mixture Butter + Honey Butter taken from the freezer (should be kept in the freezer for min. 4 hrs. and cut into pieces of sizes approximately 10-15 mm x 35-40 mm) and honey taken from the refrigerator (should be kept in the refrigerator min. 1 day).
