1. INTENDED USE OF HIGH PRESSURE CLEANER
High-pressure cleaner is a device that uses water under pressure to clean various surfaces. It has a motor that powers a high-pressure pump, which propels high-pressure water through a special nozzle. It can be used for:
- Cleaning outdoor surfaces: cleaning outdoor surfaces of the house, such as walls, decks, patios, driveways, pavements and fences. It can effectively remove dirt, grime, mold, algae, stains and other debris that accumulate on these surfaces over time.
- Vehicle cleaning: wash cars, motorbikes, boats, caravans and other vehicles. It can remove dirt, mud, bugs, grease and other contaminants from the surface of vehicles, including rims and tyres.
- Cleaning garden equipment: cleaning garden tools, lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, bicycles, garden furniture and other garden equipment. It can remove dirt, dust, leaves and other debris that accumulate on these items.
- Pool surface cleaning: cleaning swimming pools, spas and hot tubs. It can remove algae, lime deposits, stains and debris that form on the walls, steps and linings of these facilities.
It is important to note that the use of a pressure washer requires special care, as the water pressure can damage some sensitive surfaces. It is therefore essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions and take appropriate safety precautions when using a pressure washer.
This product is intended for outdoor use only, and must not be used inside a building under any circumstances.
The machine must be operated in accordance with the details provided in these instructions.

2.1 GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

- WARNING: High pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse. The jet must not be directed at persons, live electrical equipment or the machine itself.

- WARNING: Do not direct the jet against yourself or others in order to clean clothes or foot-wear.
- WARNING: Risk of explosion - Do not spray flammable liquids.
- WARNING: High pressure cleaners shall not be used by children or untrained personnel.
- WARNING: High pressure hoses, fittings and couplings are important for the safety of the machine. Use only hoses, fittings and couplings recommended by the manufacturer.
- WARNING: To ensure machine safety, use only original spare parts from the manufacturer or approved by the manufacturer.
- WARNING: Water that has flowed through backflow preventers is considered to be nonpatable.
- WARNING : Remove the plug from the socket-outlet during cleaning or maintenance and when replacing parts or converting the machine to another function;
- WARNING: Do not use the machine if a supply cord or important parts of the machine are damaged, e.g. safety devices, high pressure hoses, trigger gun.
- WARNING: Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable for outdoor use, and the connection has to be kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended that this is accomplished by means of a cord reel which keeps the socket at least 60mm above the ground.
- WARNING: Do not use combustion engine powered machines indoors unless adequate ventilation is assessed by national labour authorities.

- WARNING: Always switch off the mains disconnecting switch when leaving the machine unattended.
- The machine may only be connected to the mains drinking water supply if a backflow preventer valve with drain facility is installed in the supply hose. Make sure that the hose is at least 013mm and that it is reinforced.
- If using detergents with the high pressure, make sure the detergents is recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other detergents or chemicals may compromise the safety of the appliance. The improper use of detergents can cause severe injuries or toxication. Store detergents away from the reach of children.
2.2 VIBRATION AND NOISE REDUCTION
To reduce the impact of noise and vibration emission, limit the operating time, use low-vibration and low-noise operating modes, and wear personal protective equipment. Take the following points into account to minimise the vibration and noise exposure risks:
- Only use the product as intended by its design and these instructions.
- Ensure that the product is in good condition and well maintained.
- Use correct attachments for the product and ensure they are in good condition.
- Keep tight grip on the handles/grip surface.
- Maintain this product in accordance with these instructions and keep it well lubricated (where appropriate).
- Plan your work schedule to spread any high vibration tool use across a longer period of time.

'Whitefinger' symptoms include: numbness, loss of feeling, tingling, pricking, pain, loss of strength, changes in skin colour or condition. These symptoms normally appear in the fingers, hands or wrists. The risk increases at low temperatures.

The sound values have been determined according to noise test code given in EN 60335-2-79, using the basic standards EN ISO 3744.
The sound intensity levels for the operator may exceed 85 dB(A) and ear protection measures are necessary.
The noise figures quoted are emission levels and are not necessarily safe working levels. 4.2 PREPARATION
USE WATER FROM THE MAINS OR FROM A TANK (SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL FILTER). COLD OR TEMPERATE WATER ONLY, NO HOT WATER.
WARNING: THE APPLIANCE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR CONNECTING TO TAP WATER. USE A BACKFLOW PREVENTER IN ACCORDANCE WITH EN12729 TYPE BAOREN 61770 WITH A ONE-WAY VALVE .WATER THAT HAS FLOWN THROUGH THE BACKFLOW PREVENTER IS CLASSIFIED AS UNDRINKABLE.
NOTE: Regarding the information pertaining to the connection to the potable water mains, length and quality of the water supply hose, thanks to refer to the assembly manual enclosed in the package.
Assemble your high pressure cleaner : illustration ② 1 to ② .5
Assemble the two hooks to hold the gun and the nozzle, and the water supply adaptor.
Push the button to the side to raise the handle of the pressure washer.
Unwind the hose completely before using your appliance.
Assemble the gun handle with 5 in 1 nozzle : push and turn to fix the nozzle into the gun.

Connect the garden hose to a tap up to the high pressure cleaner.
Don't forget to place the water supply adaptor as shown on the high pressure cleaner before connecting the hose.

You can had detergent for some uses (with the foamer nozzle), for that fill the bottle with detergent and connect the cable from the bottle through the top cap to the high pressure cleaner.
4.3 FIRST USE

WARNING! READ THE « SAFETY INSTRUCTION » SECTION AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS MANUAL INCLUDING ALL TEXT UNDER SUBHEADING THEREIN BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
Pay particular attention using the machine for the first time : focus and dedicate all your attention to this first use. Make the first trial on a free space with no obstacle and no surrounding element.
4.4 OPERATION
The electric supply connection shall be made by a qualified electrician and comply with IEC 60364-1. It is recommended that the electric supply to this machine should include either a residual current device that will interrupt the supply if the leakage current to earth exceeds 30 mA for 30 ms or a device that will prove the earth circuit.

Starting:
Open the water inlet valve and plug the machine.
To switch the machine on, set the On/Off, switch to ON.
Press the safety button on the spray gun, and press the trigger until there is a steady stream of water.
Stopping:
Release the trigger.
To switch the machine off, set the On/Off, switch to OFF.
Close the water inlet valve and verify there are no more water on the spray gun.
Unplug the machine.

Use special care when cleaning tyres. Vehicle tyres/tyre valves may become damaged or burst when handled improperly. First signs of damage included discolorations on the tyre.
Damaged vehicle tyres/tyre valves pose a life-threatening risk. Keep the jet at a distance of at least 30 cm!

6.1 STORE THE MACHINE
Store the machine and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place.
When placing the machine out of service for an extended period of time, remove the cleaning agent and drain all of the water left in the hoses.
7. MAINTENANCE
7.1 CLEANING

CAUTION! ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SOURCES BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY WORK ON THE APPLIANCE.
Cleaning the product: illustration 4.1
Clogging of the spray tips causes the pump pressure to be too high and cleaning is immediately required. You can clean the spray tips by carefully inserting a needle, or a thin, sharp instrument (e.g. paperclip) into the tip to rid it of deposits.
You can also had the cleaning tip on the accessories.
Cleaning the filter :
Inspect the intake filter and detergent (if fitted) before each use, and clean in accordance with the instructions.
Inspect the seal status of inlet nozzle, spear and 5 in 1 nozzle, remove dirt and debris from the seals, if there have any crack/damage marks on it, which will lead the water leakage, please replace with the new one accordingly. Illustration (4.3)
We additionally offer some spare seals in the machine for the free replacement. Put the 5 in 1 nozzle, spear, inlet nozzle in a clean place, protected from damage.

7.3 REPLACEMENT
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.
Spare parts are available at an authorised dealer or through our customer service.
For any tasks requiring specialized knowledge or special tools should be identified, it is recommended that this should be performed by a qualified service technician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

8. END OF LIFE

Electrical products should not be discarded with household products. Used electrical products must be collected separately and disposed of at collection points provided for this purpose. Talk with your local authorities or dealer for advice on recycling.
9. WARRANTY
9.1 STERWINS WARRANTY
STERWINS products are designed according to the highest quality standards for products intended for the consumer market. This sale warranty covers a period of 5 years as of the date of purchase of the product. This warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship: missing parts and elements, and damage occurring under normal use circumstances. Repair and replacement of parts do not lead to an extension of the initial warranty period. You must be able to provide proof of the purchase for this product and the date of purchase. Warranty coverage is limited to the value of this product (5 year lifetime).
Accessories of the product such as lance or nozzle have a 3 year warranty.
9.2 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover problems nor incidents resulting from incorrect use of the product. The following items are not covered by warranty :
The tool have been used incorrectly
Damage occurring upon transporting or setting up this product
Repairs and/or change of parts carried out by a third party
Damage caused by external factors or foreign objects such as sand or stones
Damage resulting from non-compliance with the safety and usage instructions
The tool have been disassembled or opened
→ The tool have been in a wet environment (dew, rain, submerged in water...)
The tool has been used for professional purpose
The tool has been exposed to a temperature out of the range specified in chapter "storage"
The tool has been used with the wrong type of water
The tool has not been subjected to improper use (overloading of the machine or fitting non-approved accessories)
The product must be used under normal usage circumstances, and for non-professional purposes. Therefore, excluded from this warranty are products used by gardening companies, local authorities, as well as companies offering paid rentals or free loaning of equipment.
In the event of a problem or defect, you should first always consult your Sterwins dealer. In most cases, the Sterwins dealer will be able to solve the problem or correct the defect. Keep your invoice or your receipt: these documents will be requested upon processing any claims.
