They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Intended use The product is only suitable for lighting in dry indoor environments and is for private use. The product is not intended for commercial use or for use in other applications. This product is only intended for use indoors. The illuminants are not replaceable. Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators/ direct sunlight. If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected areas with fresh water and seek medical attention! WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin. Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs. In the event of a leakage of batteries/rechargeable batteries, immediately remove them from the product to prevent damage. Only use the same type of batteries/rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used and new batteries/rechargeable batteries. Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a longer period. Risk of damage of the product Only use the specified type of battery/rechargeable battery! Insert batteries/rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-) on the battery/rechargeable battery and the product. Use a dry lint-free cloth or cotton swab to clean the contacts on the battery/rechargeable battery and in the battery compartment before inserting! Remove exhausted batteries/rechargeable batteries from the product immediately. Mounting the product Note: Remove all packaging materials from the product. Note: You will need an electric drill to install the product. Make sure you will not be drilling into electrical, gas or water lines inside the wall. Use a power drill to drill the holes into the brick wall. Always observe all safety instructions for the power drill in the manual for the power drill. Death or injury due to electric shock may otherwise result.

Please see figure A (with screws 5 and dowels 3 ) or B (with double adhesive tape 6 ) for mounting the product. Note: The substrate should be dry, smooth and free of dust and grease. Note: Allow the wall bracket 4 to build up its adhesive bond for at least 24 hours. Otherwise the adhesive action could be detrimentally affected. Note: If the double adhesive tape 6 has been in place for a long time, sticky residue may remain on the surface when removed. If necessary, use an adhesive remover. Test a small area prior to cleaning the respective area. Follow the manufacturer instructions. Attach the product to the wall bracket 4 or detach it from the wall bracket 4 as shown in figure D. Start of operation Using the product Note: Before first use remove the insulation strip. The product will automatically switch on when motion is detected in a dark environment. The product will automatically switch off when motion is no longer detected for a period of time. Replacing batteries Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover (See Fig. C). Open the battery compartment 7 at the back of the product. Remove the old batteries and insert new batteries (see Fig. C). Check the polarity of the batteries. This is shown in the battery compartment 7 . Close the battery compartment 7 . Tighten the screw on the battery compartment cover (See Fig.C). GB/IE
