TODDLERS AND SMALL CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials. The packaging material poses a suffocation hazard. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please always keep the product out of the reach of children.
This device may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced phys
ical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and / or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the device and understand the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision.

Avoid the risk of fatal injury from electric shock
Ensure that a qualified electrician, or a person trained to carry out electrical installations, performs the electrical installation.
Always check the light, power supply, and mains cable for damage before plugging it in. Never use the light if it shows any signs of damage.
WARNING!
A damaged mains cable indicates a life-threatening danger due to electric shock. In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the light please contact the service centre or a qualified electrician.
Prior to installation, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker (O setting) in the fuse box.
Prior to installation verify the mains voltage on site corresponds with the operating voltage required for the light (see "Technical data").
Ensure that the light does not come into contact with water or other liquids under any circumstances.
- Never open any of the components of the electrical equipment or insert any objects into the same components. This will pose a risk of fatal injury from electric shock.
- Do not install the light on a wet or conductive substrate!

Prevent fire and injury hazards

Check the light for damage immediately after unpacking.
- Do not mount the light with defective lamps and / or lamp lenses. In this case contact the service centre for a replacement.
Do not look directly into the light source (light bulb, LED etc.).
Do not use optical instruments to look at the light.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HOT SURFACES!
Make sure that the light fixture is turned off and cooled down before you touch it to prevent burns. Bulbs generate a lot of heat at the front of the light fixture.
Allow the light to cool down completely.
- Immediately replace defective illuminants with new ones. Before changing the illuminant, always remove the fuse first or switch off the circuit breaker.
Do not leave the lamp or the packaging material lying around. Plastic foils, bags, parts, etc. can become dangerous toys in the hands of children.
Lamp - use only in a dry environment.
This light is not suitable for external dimmers or electronic switches.

Safe working
Only use the type of illuminant stated in the "Technical data" section.
Mount the light so that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
Carefully prepare for assembly and allow yourself adequate time. Organise all parts and any necessary additional tools or materials before starting so they are easy to reach.
Always be attentive! Always pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense. Never install the light if you are having difficulty concentrating or do not feel well.

Prior to installation
Important: The electrical connection must be established by a qualified electrician or a person trained to perform electrical installations. This person must be familiar with the properties of the light and the connection regulations.

Before installation ensure that the circuit, to which the light will be connected, is not energised. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).
Use the 2-pole voltage tester to verify the de-energised status.
- Start-up
Fitting the luminaire
Remove the locating screws [12] visible at the side of the connection housing [13] and remove the mounting bracket [10] at the back (see Fig. C).
Use the slotted holes in the mounting bracket [10] intended for the screws [11] to mark the bores. N ow drill the fixing holes (A, 6 mm, depth ap-prox. 40 mm). Ensure that you do not damage the supply line.
Insert the rawplugs into the bores.
Fasten the mounting bracket [10] with the provided screws [11].
Pass the individual strands L and N of the mains connection cable (external) through the protective tubes (see Fig. B).
Now connect the connection cable of the light to the mains connection cable (external) using the included terminal block.
Also ensure to connect the correct coloured wires (live wire, black or brow = symbol L, neutral wire, blue = symbol N).
Now connect the earth conductor (green-yellow) to the earth terminal marked inside the connection housing [13].
Now use the screws [12] to connect the light to the mounting bracket [10] (see Fig. C).
Unscrew the screw ring 3 from the bulb socket 1. Place the lamp glass 2 carefully over the bulb socket 1 and fasten it by tightening the screw ring 3 using the tool provided 4 (see Fig. A).
Use a clean, lint-free cloth to insert the light bulb 5. Screw the light bulb 5 clockwise into the socket.
Move the spotlights 14 on the light to the desired position.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker in the fuse box (position 1).
Your light is now ready to use.

CAUTION! RISK OF GLASS BREAKAGE!
□ When moving the spots [14], make sure that the glass parts do not hit.
Only change the direction of the spotlights [14] when the light is switched off.
- Allow the lamp to cool off completely.
Position the individual spotlights by their base. The spots can be turned by approx. 320^

WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
To change the illuminant, disconnect the lamp from the power supply first. For this purpose, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker (O setting) in the fuse box.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HOT SURFACES!
Allow the light to cool completely.
Only replace the light bulb 5 once it has fully cooled down.
Turn the defective light bulb 5 carefully anticlockwise out of the bulb socket 1.
Use a clean, lint-free cloth to replace the bulb.
Only use the light bulbs 5 specified in chapter "Technical data".
Screw the new bulb 5 clockwise into the bulb socket 1. Ensure that it is positioned correctly.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (Position I) inside the fuse box.
- Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Disconnect the light from the mains circuit before cleaning. To do so, remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker in the fuse box (0 position).

For electrical safety, never clean the light with water or other liquids, or immerse it in water.
CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS DUE TO HOT SURFACES!
Allow the light to cool completely.
- Do not use solvents, benzene or similar substances. They could damage the light.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker (I setting) inside the fuse box.
- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibreboard / 80-98: composite materials.

The product including accessories and packaging materials can be recycled and are subject to an extended obligation of the manufacturer.
Dispose of these separately in accordance with the depicted info-tri (sorting information) for better waste management. The Triman logo is only valid in France.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
- Warranty and service

You receive a 36 month warranty on this product, valid from the date of purchase. The appliance has been carefully produced under strict quality control. Within the warranty period we shall rectify without charge all material and manufacturing defects. In the event that a defect arises during the warranty period, please send the device to the listed service centre address, quoting the following model number: 14170302L/14170402L/14170502L.
Wear parts (such as bulbs) and damage caused by improper handling, non-observance of the operating instructions or unauthorized interference are excluded from the warranty. The performance of services under the warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period.
