Diagram showing a car seat assembly with a hand adjusting the seat number 10 and a blue arrow indicating direction.Your new KOMBIFIX car seat is designed to protect your baby in the car. This is an ‘i-Size’ restraint system. It is suitable, in accordance with ECE Regulation 129/04, for general use in vehicles with the ‘i-Size’ system.
It can be used in vehicle seats declared as ‘i-Size’ (check vehicle instructions for use) and vehicles compatible with ISOfix class A, B, B1, C or D (see compatibility list on website: www.janeworld.com).
In case of doubt, please consult your retailer, or go to the website: www.janeworld.com It is very important that you read these instructions carefully before using the KOMBIFIX for the first time. Make sure that all those who will ever use it are also familiar with its correct installation and use. It has been found that a significant percentage of car seat users do not install the seat correctly, understanding the instruction manuals and applying what they say correctly is as important to safety as the seat itself.
You can consult these instructions by scanning the QR code below:

INDEX

- This is an i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System. It is approved according to UN Regulation No.129, for use in, i-Size compatible vehicle seating positions as indicated by vehicle manufacturers in the vehicle users' manual.
- If in doubt, consult either the Enhanced Child Restraint System manufacturer or the retailer.

NEVER leave your child unattended with this enhanced infant child restraint.
This seat is included in UN Regulation 129 and can be installed in all vehicles approved under Regulation 16. It can also be installed in the vehicles included on the list attached to this instruction manual.
The rigid items and plastic parts of an Enhanced Child Restraint System shall be located and installed so that they are not liable to become trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle during everyday use of the vehicle.
Do not use the safety seat without its cover and without the harness pads.
Protect the child restraint system from direct contact with sunlight, the plastic and metal parts may heat up and burn the child.
Keep the child restraint system away from corrosive liquids, paints or solvents that could damage the product. The child restraint system should be replaced after an accident, even if there are no visible signs of damage. The product may have unseen internal damage that could compromise the child's safety.
Take regular breaks when travelling so the child can get out of the seat and walk around a bit. It is not advisable to travel for more 2 hours at a time without taking a break. This advice is very important for babies.
Make sure that the support leg is always in contact with the vehicle floor, and that the child's harness is correctly fitted and not twisted at all.
Make sure the lap strap is worn low down so that the pelvis is firmly engaged.
Do not make any alterations or additions to the product without the approval of the Type Approval Authority.
INDEX
Follow closely the installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer.
The Enhanced Child Restraint System shall not be used without the cover.
The Enhanced Child Restraint System cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, because the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.

15. WARRANTY
This item is guaranteed against manufacturing defects as stipulated in the legal Directives and/or regulations in force on guarantees for consumer goods applicable to the European Union and those of the country in which it is marketed.
It is essential to present the purchase invoice or receipt in order to process the guarantee through the seller of the item or, failing that, through the manufacturer.
The guarantee excludes anomalies or faults caused by misuse, non-compliance with the safety regulations and instructions for use and maintenance provided, or due to wear and tear caused by normal use and regular handling of the item.
The label containing the serial number of your model must not be torn off under any circumstances as it contains information relevant to the guarantee.
This compatibility list is valid for the KOMBIFIX baby carrier configuration with the Kombibase base (i-Size Enhanced Child Restraint System). The vehicles listed will be valid as long as they are equipped with ISOFIX anchorages. It is possible that other vehicles are also compatible with KOMBIFIX+Kombibase; however, they have not yet been verified.
For any questions, please consult the seller or the manufacturer of this child restraint system.
The ISOFIX in the front passenger position (1) is usually optional in some models. However, check the traffic legislation in the country where you are traveling, as this position may be restricted for child safety seats. NOTICE: Do not use on a passenger seat fitted with activated Frontal Airbag.
Installation in rear seats may limit the space available for the occupant in the front seat. Verify with the installed seat whether the remaining space is acceptable or convenient for the person occupying that position.
