  • This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
  • Before starting a training session, it is recommended that you consult your doctor if you have any adverse health or physical condition that may pose a risk to your safety or make it difficult to use the exercise bike properly. Your doctor's advice is essential if you are taking medication that affects your heart rate, blood pressure, or cholesterol level.

  • Be aware of your body signals. Incorrect or excessive exercise can deteriorate your health. Stop exercising if you experience any of the following symptoms: pain, tightness in your chest, irregular heartbeat, extreme shortness of breath, dizziness, or nausea. If you experience any of these conditions, you should consult your doctor before continuing with your training.

  • It is not recommended for outdoor use
  • Leave a free space of at least 0.6 m in front of all access areas of the machine in case of emergency. You can share the access areas with other machine nearby. Always ensure there are not any objects blocking the entrance and exit of the machine.
  • Keep children and pets away from the machine. Do not allow children to use it and/or play with the machine. It is designed for adults only.
  • This device can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given appropriate supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Maximum user weight: 110 kg.
  • Wear suitable clothing while using the machine. Avoid wearing loose clothing which may get caught in the equipment.
  • Use the appliance on a solid, even surface with a protective cover for your floor or carpet.
  • Use the machine as indicated in this instruction manual. If you find any defective component while assembling or checking the machine, or if you hear any unusual noise

coming from the equipment during use, stop using it. Do not use the equipment until the problem has been solved.

  • Warning: replace faulty components immediately and/or keep the equipment out of use until repaired.
  • Warning: incorrect or excessive training can lead to health injuries.
  • Warning: if any of the adjustment devices are protruding, they may interfere with the user's movement.
  • Ensure all nuts and bolts are securely tightened before using the machine.
  • If repairs are required, please consult your supplier for further information or contact Cecotec Customer Service.
  • The machine is not suitable for therapeutic use.
  • Be careful when moving or lifting the machine to avoid injuring your back.
  • Safe and efficient use can be only achieved if the machine is properly assembled, maintained, and used.

  • Warning: the safety level of the equipment can only be maintained if it is regularly checked for damage and wear.

Instructions on batteries

  • The monitor uses AAA batteries.
  • Do not burn or expose the batteries to high temperatures, as they may explode.
  • Leaks from the batteries can occur under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the batteries. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them

immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

  • Avoid contact between the batteries and small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.
  • Do not tamper with the batteries in any way.
  • Cells must be removed for safe disposal.
  • Keep the batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
  • Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. Severe burns may occur within two hours of ingestion.
  • In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
  • The batteries must be inserted according to the correct polarity.
  • Discharged batteries must be removed from the console and disposed of safely.
  • If the machine is to be stored unused for a long period of time, the battery should then be removed from the console.
  • The supply terminals must not be short-circuited.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.

- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

Assembly instructions

Use the tools provided in the tool kit (12).

STEP 1. Fig. 2

  1. Open the product box and check all contents are included.

STEP 2 Fig. 3

  1. Insert the connector plate bolts (10).
  2. Position the connector plate (3).
  3. Secure it with the connector plate nuts (11).

STEP 3. Fig. 4

  1. Attach the trim cover (4).
  2. Insert the trim cover screws (8).

STEP 4. Fig. 5

  1. Unfold the rear support foot.
  2. Insert the folding pin (9).
  3. Attach the knob (5).

STEP 5. Fig. 6

  1. Attach the handle grips (6) to the front section of the rowing machine.

  1. Install the monitor (7) onto the metal bracket.

Resistance control

The resistance is adjusted by turning the knob located on the hydraulic cylinder. Turning clockwise increases resistance, while anticlockwise rotation decreases it. The machine features 12 resistance settings.

Height adjustment

The rear section height can be adjusted. To do this, remove the knob from the rear support foot, select the desired height, and reinsert the knob.

Folding the machine

  • Loosen the knob and remove it.
  • Remove the folding pin and rotate the leg anticlockwise.

Operation

The system activates when any button is pressed or when input is detected from the speed sensor. The system automatically powers off when there is no speed input signal or no buttons are pressed for approximately 4 minutes.

The machine can be reset by either changing the batteries or pressing the MODE button for 3 seconds.

Button functions:

MODE:

To choose between SCAN or LOCK mode, if you don't want the scan mode, press the MODE button when the pointer is on the desired function, which will start flashing.

TIME:

Press MODE until the pointer locks on TIME. Total workout time will be displayed when exercise begins.

STROKES/MIN:

Press MODE until the pointer advances to STROKES/MIN. The current speed will be displayed.

ENGLISH

COUNT:

Press MODE until the pointer advances to COUNT. The distance for each training session will be displayed.

CAL:

Press MODE until the pointer locks on CALORIES. Calories burned will be displayed when exercise begins. SCAN: Values will automatically change every 4 seconds.

Batteries

  • The display uses 2 x AAA batteries.
  • If the monitor display is not showing correctly, reinstall the batteries for better results.
  • Changing the batteries will reset all records.
  • To change batteries: Press the button on the bottom of the LED housing to open the cover, then press the button on the rear to open the battery compartment and replace the batteries.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance

  1. Regularly check if any parts are damaged or loose.
  2. Before each use, verify all machine components are securely fastened and replace defective parts promptly.
  3. Clean the machine regularly using a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid using solvents or corrosive cleaners.
  4. For issues related to bearings, drive belt or rotating parts wear, do not attempt repairs yourself; contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service.
  5. Keep the machine, especially the counter, away from direct sunlight. Store in a clean, dry place out of the reach of children.

Note: If you experience any issues with the rowing machine, discontinue use until the problem has been resolved.

5. EXERCISE GUIDELINES

A proper workout should consist of the following phases:

  • Warm-up: 5-10 minutes of stretching and low-intensity exercise. A proper warm-up increases body temperature, heart rate and circulation, preparing you for exercise. Fig. 12
  • Training: 20-30 minutes of exercise. (Note: during the first weeks of training, do not maintain a high heart rate for more than 20 minutes). Fig. 13

- Cool-down: 5-10 minutes of stretching. This increases flexibility and helps prevent post-exercise injuries. Fig. 12

Workout routine

- To maintain or improve fitness, complete three workout sessions weekly, with at least one day's rest between sessions.

- After several months of training, you may increase to five sessions weekly. Consistency is key for optimal results.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING
