The waffle maker is a device designed for baking waffles. Thanks to the smooth temperature control in a wide range, you can adjust the degree of baking the waffle to your needs depending on the type of dough used. The device is not intended for commercial use. The correct, reliable and safe operation of the device depends on proper use, therefore:

The supplier is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from use of the device for purposes other than its intended use, failure to comply with safety regulations and recommendations in this manual. Using the device for purposes other than its intended use also results in loss of the user's rights to the guarantee, as well as under the warranty.
EQUIPMENT
The device is delivered complete and does not require assembly. However, before using the device, all packaging and transport protection elements must be removed. Preparatory activities described later in the manual are also required.
GENERAL USE RECOMMENDATIONS
The device is designed for home use and is not allowed to be used in commercial applications, e.g. catering establishments. The device is designed for indoor use only. Do not expose the device to rain or other atmospheric precipitation. The device is only intended for heat treatment of food placed directly on the heating plate. It is not allowed to use the device in any other capacity, for example as a warmer for products in a container. It is not allowed to repair, disassemble or modify the device yourself. Any repairs to the device must be carried out by an authorized repair center. The device must be supervised at all times during operation.
WARNING! The device heats up to high temperatures during operation, do not touch the heating plate and walls of the device during operation, this may cause serious burns. The device is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, mental capabilities and persons lacking experience and knowledge of the device. Unless they are supervised or instructed on how to use the device in a safe manner so that the associated risks are understood. Children should not play with the device. Children should not clean or maintain the device without supervision.
Recommendations for transporting and installing the device
The device may only be placed on a hard, flat, even and non-flammable surface. The surface must be able to support the weight of the device itself and the food placed on it. A gap of at least 10 cm must be provided around the side walls of the device, and no materials that are not resistant to high temperatures must be placed above the device. This will allow for proper ventilation of the device. Do not place it near the edge of a table, for example. Do not place the device near flammable materials, for example curtains or drapes.
Do not place any electrical devices above the device. During operation, water vapor is released, which may cause a short circuit in the electrical installation and cause electric shock. It is forbidden to drill any holes in the product, as well as any other modification of the device not described in the instructions. Only move the device when it is cool, by grasping the housing. Do not move the device by pulling on the power cable. The temperature at the place of

installation and use of the device must be in the range of +10 °C ÷ +38 °C, and the relative humidity must be below 90% without water vapor condensation.
Recommendations for connecting the device to the power supply
Before connecting the device to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency and capacity of the power supply correspond to the values shown on the device's nameplate. The plug must fit the socket. Any modification of the plug is prohibited. The device must be connected directly to a single power supply socket. The use of extension cords, multi-sockets and double sockets is prohibited. The power supply circuit must be equipped with a protective conductor and 16 A fuse.
Avoid contact of the power cable with sharp edges, hot objects and surfaces. During operation, the power cable must always be fully unwound and its position must be determined so that it does not constitute an obstacle during operation of the device. The positioning of the power cable must not cause a tripping hazard. The power socket should be located in such a place that it is always possible to quickly disconnect the device's power cable plug. When disconnecting the power cable plug, always pull on the plug housing, never on the cable. If the power cable or plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the mains and contact an authorized service center of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the device with a damaged power cable or plug. The power cable or plug cannot be repaired, in the event of damage to these elements, they must be replaced with new ones that are free from defects. The power cable and plug must be replaced at an authorized service center of the manufacturer.
Recommendations for using the device
WARNING! The surface of the heating plate may be hot after use. Do not touch it as this may cause serious burns. Wait for the heating plate to cool down. When preparing food that may throw hot food fragments during the preparation, personal protective equipment should be used to protect against burns.
Make sure that the floor near the appliance is not slippery. This will prevent slipping, which can cause serious injuries. Always monitor food while preparing it to prevent it from burning. Food left unattended can burn, which can cause a fire and serious burns. When preparing food, only touch the surface of the hob with wooden or plastic utensils. The utensils should withstand the temperature generated by the heating plate. It is forbidden to remove or put on food by hand.
If food remains on the hotplate during or after cooking, they should be removed before cooking another dish. Food residues can burn, causing smoke, unpleasant odours and affecting the taste of the food being cooked. They can also cause a fire. To remove them, use tools made of wood or plastic that can withstand the temperature generated by the hotplate. Do not use sharp or metal tools.
Such tools may damage the surface of the hob.
If the preparation of a dish requires the use of fat, it should be spread on the surface of the heating plate using a soft brush. The device is not intended for the preparation of food by deep-frying.
Installation, start-up and operation of the device
The device should be unpacked, completely removing all packaging elements. It is recommended to keep the packaging, it may be helpful in later transport and storage of the device.
Prepare the device according to the instructions in the "Device maintenance" section.
The device has a temperature regulator. Before connecting the power cord plug to the socket, make sure that the regulator knob is set to the 0 position. Connect the power cord plug to the socket. The power indicator light will come on. Set the temperature regulator knob to a position between the settings described LIGHT and DARK. LIGHT means the minimum temperature, and DARK means the maximum temperature. To start with, it is recommended to set the knob in the middle of the scale, and after the first baked waffles, make any necessary adjustments depending on the desired effects.
The ready light will come on and the hotplates will start heating. The end of heating will be signalled by the ready light going out. Carefully open the lid, spread the waffle batter on the lower heating plate. Try to spread the batter over the entire surface of the plate. Then close the lid. The ready light will come on again. Wait until it goes off, then carefully lift the lid and remove the cooked waffles from the heating plate. If necessary, spread the batter again and repeat all steps to bake another batch of waffles.
The appliance can be switched off at any time by setting the temperature control to 0 and then unplugging the power cord from the socket. Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. After the indicator light goes out, the appliance will not switch off automatically and will start heating again after a while. Leaving the appliance unattended with waffles between the heating plates may cause a fire.
WARNING! Be especially careful when opening a hot lid. Wear heat-resistant gloves and only hold the lid by the handle.
The heating plate heats up to a high temperature, contact with the exposed body can cause serious burns. When preparing food, be careful not to touch the heating plate, and control the food being prepared using appropriate tools, e.g. tongs or spatulas made of plastic or wood.
When selecting tools, make sure they can withstand the temperature reached by the hotplate. Metal tools and tools with sharp edges should not be used. Such tools can damage the surface of the hotplate.
The product with the catalog number 68016 is equipped with the possibility of rotation by 180^ , which allows for even distribution of dough and equal baking of waffles on both sides. Before filling the device with dough, unlock the rotation lock, which will allow the body to move freely. Then open the waffle maker, pour in the dough, close the lid, and then carefully rotate the device. After rotation, it is recommended to lock the lid again using the lock to protect it from accidental opening during baking. This lock also serves the function of securing the device in a vertical position, which allows for convenient and safe storage. Before placing the waffle maker in a vertical position or folding it out again, release the lock.
Note! Do not place the waffle maker in a vertical position after pouring in the batter, as this may cause the batter to flow out and dirty the casing.
Device maintenance
NOTE! All maintenance operations must be carried out with the device powered off. To do this, remove the power cable plug from the mains socket.
The appliance is used to prepare food placed directly on the heating plate, therefore, proper hygiene must be ensured to ensure safe food preparation.
The heating plate can be protected with a preservative during transport and storage. Before first use, after cleaning, the heating plate should be heated to maximum temperature and all traces of the preservative should be allowed to evaporate. The evaporating preservative may cause smoke, this is a normal phenomenon. Therefore, evaporation should be carried out in a place with effective ventilation. Do not inhale the vapors of the preservative.
Once the evaporation is complete and the smoke stops, disconnect the appliance from the power supply, wait until the heating plate has cooled down completely and clean the plate again with a cleaning agent. Only then can you use the heating plate to prepare food.
The heating plate and other parts of the appliance should be cleaned using a cloth soaked in a mild dishwashing detergent solution. Remove any remaining solution using a cloth soaked in water. After cleaning, wipe the appliance dry. The plate should be cleaned after each use, after waiting for it to cool down completely. Any food residue left on the plate should be cleaned off, this will prevent it from burning on when used again and will also prevent the appliance from reducing its efficiency.
Do not use solvents, caustic agents, alcohol, gasoline or abrasive agents for cleaning.
Clean the ventilation holes with a vacuum cleaner.
Caution! Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
For cleaning, the drip trays should be removed from the appliance and cleaned with dishwashing liquid under running water or in a mechanical dishwasher.
Storing the device
If the device will not be used for a long time, disconnect it from the power supply.

Store the device indoors during storage, protect it from dust, dirt and moisture. It is recommended to store the device in its factory packaging.
Store the device in its working position. Do not stack products in layers. Do not place anything on the product during storage.
