Frequently Asked Questions - SS-5267 Sogo

How to use the SS-5267 blender?
After cleaning and preparing the ingredients (boneless meat, cut vegetables), place them in the bowl. Align the blade assembly on the spindle, then close the lid by turning clockwise. Plug in the appliance and press the button to start. Release to stop. Do not exceed 30 seconds of continuous use.
Can I chop meat with bones?
No, this appliance is not designed to process hard foods like meat with bones, ice cubes, or coffee beans. Always remove bones before putting meat in the bowl.
What is the maximum capacity of the bowl?
The maximum capacity depends on the ingredient. For example, for pork or beef, do not exceed 250 g. For onions, 300 g. In general, do not fill the bowl beyond the fill line (approx. 500 ml).
How to clean the blades?
Unplug the appliance. Wash the blades by hand with a mild detergent and non-abrasive sponge. Be very careful as the blades are very sharp. Never immerse the main body in water.
What to do if the appliance does not start?
Check that the bowl, blades, and lid are correctly installed. Ensure the mains voltage matches the indicated voltage. If the button is not pressed correctly, release it and press again. If the problem persists, wait 20-30 minutes for the motor to cool down.
Can I blend hot liquids?
No, the bowl withstands a maximum temperature of 60 °C. Never introduce foods or liquids at a higher temperature, as this may crack the bowl and cause burns.
The motor stops during use, what to do?
This may be due to overload or overheating. Release the button, unplug the appliance and let it cool down for 20 to 30 minutes. Reduce the amount of ingredients next time. The thermal cut-off device resets automatically after cooling.
How to use the egg beater?
Insert the egg beater into the bowl by snapping it onto the shaft. Pour the ingredients, close the lid. Plug in and select the whipping speed (usually low). Release to stop, unplug, then remove the whisk.
The appliance emits an odor during first use, is this normal?
Yes, it is normal. A slight odor may be emitted during first use due to heat on new components. It will disappear quickly after a few cycles.
