2. Safety instructions for the user

General precautions during the use of electrical equipment
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
- Do not use or store the appliance outdoors. • Always place the appliance on a flat and even surface.
- The unit must be used only for the intended purposes. No liability is accepted for damages arising from improper use or wrong handling. Misuse or improper handling may cause problems in the appliance and cause injury to the user.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the name-plate matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. • Always remove the plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children.
- Before cleaning or storing your appliance, always unplug it from the power supply and let it cool down.
- The device is not completely disconnected from the power source, even after it has been turned off. To disconnect it completely, unplug it from the mains.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: – staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; – farm houses; – by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; – bed and breakfast type environments.

Restrictions on use to avoid personal injury
- Do not place or operate this appliance near water sources.
- Do not place or operate the appliance and its power cord on or near hot surfaces (e.g., stove plates) or open flames.
- Do not leave the power cord hanging from sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and flames. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
- The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- When removing the plug from the wall outlet, grasp the plug itself, not the cable or the appliance.
- To avoid electric shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging or unplugging.
- Do not use the device with wet hands, on damp floors, or in humid conditions; there is a risk of electric shock.
- Never immerse the appliance or the plug in water or any other liquid. If the appliance falls into water, disconnect it from the mains immediately and have it checked by an authorized service agent before reusing.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- In case of appliance malfunction, or if it has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

Restrictions on use when used with children and elders
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children. Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not allow children to use the appliance.
- Appliances can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Instructions to follow when using the appliance
- The appliance cannot be used for blending hard and dry substances, otherwise the blades might get blunt.
- Always disconnect the blender from the mains when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
- Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender, as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to sudden steaming.
- Never remove the lid until the knife has stopped completely.
- This appliance is designed to process small quantities. Do not exceed the quantities indicated in these instructions for use.
- Do not use this appliance to mix glutinous food or substance.

WARNING: The blades are very sharp!
- Avoid contacting moving parts of the appliance while in function.
- Turn off the appliance and disconnect from the mains supply before changing accessories or approaching movable parts in use.
- Care must be taken when handling the sharp blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
- Do not connect the appliance to the mains until it is completely assembled and always disconnect the appliance before disassembling or handling the blade.
- Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base without mounting with the jar properly.
- The unit is equipped with a security function. The unit can only be switched on if the jug is put on the motor base properly. If the unit cannot be switched on, pull the power cable and check the connection between jug and engine base.
CAUTION: Do not operate the unit when empty.
CAUTION: Do not put hot ingredients into the jar. Before food preparation, allow food to cool down for a few minutes.
CAUTION: Before you eat or serve blended food, please always check for ingredients that might have not been blended adequately.
CAUTION: Maximum time of food processing should not exceed 1 minute of continuous use. The three pre-set functions and the pulse functions finish their working under 1 minute. In case your food needs to be blended further to achieve the required smoothness, use the appliance with any preset function or with intermediate speed with 10 second pauses to avoid permanent damage to the motor.
- To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the same electrical circuit.
- A short power supply cord is provided with this product. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not hang where it can be tripped over or pulled unintentionally.
- Installation of a spike protector will offer additional protection with a nominal trigger current of not more than 30 mA in the house installation. Please consult your installing electrician.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: Kindly refer to the cleaning and maintenance section for details on how to clean surfaces which come in contact with food.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Operation Instruction:
- Rotary switch knob - "0" means Power OFF.
- This unit works with 4 speeds, in which "1" is the lowest speed and "4" is the highest.
- Pulse function—rotate the switch knob to "P", keep the switch on position P and the unit works at maximum speed. Note: this function can be used for ice crushing.
- The max. capacity of the jar is 1.5L; do not allow it to exceed the max. level mark.
Key Point Instructions:
1- The capacity of this Blender Jar is 1.5 L and it contains SUS 420 Stainless steel blades. 2- For protection, this product comes with a feature of dual safety switch such that if the blending jar is not locked in position or its cover is not locked in position, the Blender will not start. 3- Overheat protection – This blender has a feature of overheat protection. If the product is working for a long time, the thermal sensor will stop the product to protect the motor from overheating. If this condition happens, please stop all operations and wait for at least 30 minutes to let the motor cool down and then start again. 4- Overcurrent protection - If very hard food is placed inside the jar, the blade may block and it may cause overcurrent, so the overcurrent sensor will stop the product. If this condition happens, please switch off the product and remove the hard or big food and then use the product again.
Knob with different speed functions
P — Pulse: Stainless steel blades operate with transitory highest speed, making it suitable for all kinds of processes.
How to use the pulse function.
- Turn rotary switch to «0» position to turn off the appliance.
- Turn the knob anticlockwise and keep it in Position "P" as long as you want the motor to run.
Note: make sure not to run the motor more than 1 minute continuously.
Ice crushing Program:
- Turn rotary switch anti-clockwise to the P position.
- The blender starts crushing the ice.
- To stop the function, turn the rotary switch to the «0» position. 1 — Low speed: Blades operate at low speed, suitable for elementary blending.
This function can be used for making soups, smoothies, and baby foods.
- Turn the motor switch clockwise to position speed 1.
- The blender starts blending.
- To stop, turn the rotary switch to the «O» position.
4 — Maximum speed: Blades operate at high speed, suitable for symmetrical blending.
This function can be used for grinding and blending some kinds of vegetables and fruits.
0 — Turn off the unit.
Important Instructions
- Never fill the jar to the maximum capacity, as overfilling can block the operation and cause spouting out of ingredients or liquid. Please turn off the unit, disconnect the plug, and remove some of the liquid or ingredients before operating again.
- Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute, and always keep a short time difference between two cycles. If you need to use the appliance multiple times, keep sufficient pauses between uses.
- Do not add food with a temperature above 70°C into the blender jug to blend.
- Food quantity should not exceed the maximum measuring line; otherwise, blending performance may be affected.
- Food cut into small cubes can be processed easily.
- Do not insert fingers or any utensils into the jug during operation.
- It is strictly forbidden to turn on the appliance without placing the lid in its position.
- Before removing the jar, ensure the appliance is switched off.
6. INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE BEFORE FIRST USE
The jar blender can be used to blend, grind, and mix various types of ingredients and to crush ice. It can also be used to make soups, shakes, and smoothies.
- Clean the measuring cup, lid, and jar (except the main body) before first use and after every use.
- Do not plug in the unit until the jar is ready to be mounted onto the motor.
- Once all accessories are clean and you have food ready to process, plug the power plug into the wall outlet.
- Mount the jar using the glass jar, sealing base, stainless steel blades, and glass jar base.
- Once the jar is mounted, cut the vegetables or fruits into small pieces, put them into the jar, add an appropriate amount of water, and then place the lid in its position. Note that the amount of water added must not exceed the maximum capacity of the jar. (Food should be 2/5 of the cup capacity and water should be 3/5 of total capacity.) For example, 600 grams of carrots with 900 grams of water.
- Mount the jar, aligning it vertically onto the output shaft of the motor base.
- When processing, first turn the knob counterclockwise to "P" a few times, and then turn the knob to the corresponding "Speed" to process. If a lower speed is needed, turn the switch knob to the "1st speed" position; if a higher speed is needed, turn it to the "4th speed" position.
- Depending on the volume and variety of processed foods, the user can choose from 4 speeds. Use low speed for small quantities and easy processing; otherwise, use high speed.
- If you need to check the stirring effect halfway through or need to add food and water, you can do so either by removing the glass jar lid or through the measuring cup located in the center of the jar.
- After use, turn the switch knob to "0 stop", unplug the power cord to stop the appliance. Remove the glass jar and transfer the processed food from the jar to another bowl.
Note: Do not spray water or other liquids during use.
WARNING: Do not use the unit without any food ingredients inside the jar.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- In addition to this, user must refer to the security precautions.
- Do not clean Motor main body, power cord and plug with water.
- Clean the motor base with a soft, wet piece of cloth and some mild cleaning agent.
- Fill the jug half-full with hot water and a little cleaning agent. Let the unit run on speed 2 until the jug is clean.
- Clean jug, cover, closure, base and blades with sealing ring with hot water and some cleaning agent. Dry well before re-using. Caution! The blades inside of the jug are very sharp.
- Never use aggressive cleaning agents.
WARNING: Do not to touch the sharp blade. When clean, please wipe by dishcloth, to avoid any type of injury.

CAUTION: Before you eat or serve blended food, please always check for ingredients that might have not been blended adequately.
CAUTION: Maximum time of food processing should not exceed 1 Minute of continuous use. In case the food which needs to be blended further to achieve the required smoothness use the appliance dividing in various cycles with few second pauses in between each cycle to avoid permanent damage to the motor.
