How to use the pulse function on the Sogo MB-60 blender?

Press the P button (pulse) for short bursts. Release to stop. Ideal for chopping or blending in intervals.

Can the glass bowl go in the dishwasher?

Yes, the bowl and lid of the Sogo MB-60 are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack.

Why won't my blender start?

Check that the bowl is correctly locked onto the base and the lid is properly closed. The blender is equipped with a safety system preventing startup if improperly assembled.

What is the maximum capacity of the bowl?

The total capacity is 1.5 L. Do not exceed the max mark to avoid overflow.

Can I blend hot ingredients?

No, wait for the food to cool (< 60°C) to avoid any risk of burns or thermal shock to the glass.

How to safely clean the blades?

Unplug the appliance. Clean the blades with a brush and soapy water without touching the sharp edges. Do not immerse the motor base.

The blender is abnormally loud, what should I do?

Check that the bowl is properly clipped and that hard foods are not blocking the blades. If the noise persists, contact Sogo after-sales service.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: Read all instructions carefully before you use the appliance. This appliance is designed for domestic use only. No responsibility is accepted for damage resulting from use non-compatible with the instructions. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put the HAND BLENDER in water or other liquid. Do not operate the hand mixer with wet hands. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Keep children away from the appliance. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Unplug before inserting or removing parts. Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the beaters during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damaged to the mixer. Remove beaters from the HAND BLENDER

before washing them.

Do not continuously operate the mixer too long. The motor may overheat.

For 1~3 Speed, continuously operate time must be less than 60 seconds. Do not use the beaters to mix too hard ingredients.

The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.

Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.

Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

SETTING THE SPEED

When pressing the on/off switch "b", the processing speed corresponds to the setting of the 5-speed switch "a". The higher the setting, the faster the chopping results.

TO USE THE HAND BLENDER

• Rating time: Kb 60 Sec. - You can blend baby food, soups, sauces, milk shakes and mayonnaise.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

1. Fit the power handle to the blender shaft, by pressing the two Release/Lock buttons simultaneously.
2. Plug in. To avoid splashing, place the blade in the food before switching on.
3. Hold the power handle steady. Set the speed using the speed regulator "a".
4. Now press the on/off button "b" to put it in operation.

NOTE:

- Don't let liquid get above the joint between the power handle and blender shaft.

- Move the blade through the food and use a stabbing action.

- If your blender gets blocked, unplug before clearing.

1. After use, unplug and dismantle.

Don't fill the beaker above 500ml.

CLEANING

• Always switch off and unplug before cleaning. - Don't touch the sharp blades. • Take special care when preparing food for babies, the elderly and infirm. - Always ensure that the hand blender shaft is thoroughly sterilized. Use a sterilizing solution in accordance with the sterilizing solution manufacturer's instructions. - Some foods, like egg and carrots, may discolor the plastic. Rubbing with a cloth dipped in vegetable oil helps remove discoloring.
